William was surprised by Mark's question and wondered if there were any signs of tiredness on his face. But thinking it was nothing too serious, he nodded and replied, "Ahh yeah, everything is okay."

He was secretly wondering why was he feeling tired since he slept well and all.

Although Mark wasn't entirely convinced, he nodded and replied, "Ok. It's probably my imagination or something. Let me know if you want any help or a break or whatever."

He resumed working on his part of the job, not thinking further on William's condition.

William nodded and then continued working on his job, making fair progress although still not as good as every time.

Mark continued to work on his section and made good progress, making very few mistakes. He took another glance at William and saw the progress that he was making and again observed that it wasn't as good as he usually would do. But Mark didn't want to bug him about it so he didn't say anything and just let it pass.

William continued working on the wallpapering and as time passed and he worked more, he only got more tired. But he didn't want to say anything about it and although he was wondering what was the reason, as he didn't think of it being the curse, he just continued working, not wanting to give himself a break or anything.

(I'll skip ahead to lunch if it's ok. XD)

After the morning passed, the bell rang, indicating that it was lunchtime. Mark put down his tools and happily said, "Whew, I could use a break. I'll go grab some food for myself and you should get some rest. You deserve it."

(Yup, it's totally okay. xD)

William didn't want to take a break, however. Despite that he felt tired and a break would have gotten him more energy, looking at his work he thought it didn't look too good, not as good as he would usually make it. So he replied,

"You go on. I want to fix these mistakes and make more progress to make up for them."

Mark got concerned for William a little, as eh thought that it wasn't a good idea for him to push too much. But nodding, he replied, "Ok but take a break before the lunch hour is over and when I get back, if you want any help with the mistakes, I don't mind."

He then went to go grab some food for himself and take a break.

William continued working meanwhile, despite how tired he was getting. In his mind, it didn't happen to him that this could be the curse's early symptoms and all and he was confused for the reason.

Although Lord Connelly would have normally gone off the construction site to have lunch, he decided to hang around today during the break. He went to check on William and noticing him at work, he gave him a smile and said, "You should be having lunch or at least taking a break. You look a bit tired."

William turned to Lord Connelly as he heard him addressing himself, and smiling he replied, "Ahh I am fine, sir. Trying to make progress."

Although he wasn't feeling any better, he wasn't pleased with his progress and so tried to fix it up.

Lord Connelly nodded and replied, "I see. I'll leave you to it then."

Although he was concerned about William, particularly his health, there wasn't much he could do unless William told him what was up so she left to take care of some other errands and whatnot.

William then turned his attention towards his work and continued trying to make more progress, fixing up his mistakes and such. He was only getting more tired bit by bit but did his best to not let it distract him.

The lunch hour passed by quickly and the bell rang, indicating that it was time to get back to work. As Mark had already finished his lunch, he went ahead back to where William was and noticing that he was still working, he asked, "Didn't you take a break at all? You're going to exhaust yourself working straight like that."

William didn't look to Mark as he talked to him but replied, "Ahh I am fine with it. No worries, just need to get things all done here."

Mark replied although a bit skeptically, "Oh ok. Ahh I brought you a bottle of water. It might help."

He placed the bottle next to William and then resumed working on his part of the job.
