Nerine blushed in embarrassment and nodded.

"Uhh yeah. Sorry about that, I guess we were so happy with you that we forgot to change."

Turning to Alex, she asked,

"So um, Alex, shall we go upstairs to change?"

Eleanor replied, "Awww, it's ok, dear. You look so beautiful in your wedding dress."

Alex then replied, "Sure. We should change into some more comfortable clothes. Mom, Dad, would you mind waiting in the living room while we go upstairs and change?"

Edward nodded and said, "Yup, we'll wait for the two of you to return." Edward then escorted Eleanor to the living room.

Alex then approached Nerine and said, "So shall I escort my lady upstairs?"

Nerine blushed and held to Alex's arm. "Yup, she would like that."

Alex gently held Nerine's arm and together they went upstairs to their bedroom. There, in the closet were some clothes for both Alex and Nerine.

Alex said, "It looks like we have plenty of clothes to change into and ahh, some shoes as well. Why don't you take a look inside and decide what you'd like to change into?"

Nerine nodded and took a look on the clothes in the closet. They all looked beautiful and pretty so it was kind of hard to choose. At last, Nerine chose a pink short dress with white ribbons in it.

"Umm, do you think this will look good on me?"

Alex smiled, nodded, and replied, "It would look perfect on you. Would you like to use the bathroom first to change? I can wait."

Nerine replied, "All right. I'll be right back."

She got her dress and a pair of shoes and entered the bathroom to change. She quickly washed herself up and got off her wedding dress. Then, she changed into her new clothes and then brushed her hair pleasantly. She then hanged her wedding dress in a hanger carefully and got out of the bathroom.

"I am done, Alex."

When he saw Nerine reenter the bedroom, Alex gazed at her, for she looked so beautiful in his eyes.

"Wow, you look wonderful, darling." There was such love in his eyes that he couldn't help but approach Nerine and kiss her.

Nerine blushed as Alex kissed her but of course, how could she not return the kiss? She wrapped her arms around him and returned his kiss with all the love inside her heart.

Alex continued kissing Nerine, feeling such love for her in his heart. After a while, he broke the kiss, remembering that his parents were waiting for him.

"I wish I could continue kissing you but I just remembered that my parents are waiting for us. I'll go get some clothes, change, and be right back."

Alex gave Nerine a quick kiss and then got some comfortable clothes from the closet and went into the bathroom to change.

Nerine put her wedding dress in the closet carefully and then sat down on the bed, waiting patiently for her husband to return. While she was sitting like that though, she thought,

It looks like Alex has forgotten about Lycoris for now. Maybe Mum is right, I just need to make him remember all the nice days and memories we shared.

In the bathroom, Alex changed into a pair of comfortable brown pants and a clean, white shirt. He changed his shoes as well into a more comfortable pair. Then he quickly washed his face and combed his hair.

Looking presentable, he exited the bathroom and reentered the bedroom. Then he put away his tuxedo and other shoes in the closet and said,

"Ok, I'm all done. We should get back downstairs and see Mom and Dad."

Nerine stood up and held to Alex's arm. "Then would you please escort me downstairs, my handsome husband?"

Alex smiled and replied, "Yup. Let's go downstairs together then, my beautiful wife."

He held Nerine's arm and together, they walked downstairs into the living room where Eleanor and Edward were sitting comfortably on the sofa.

Eleanor looked up when she saw the happy couple enter the room and said, "Ahh you two are back now and you both look great."

Nerine smiled and replied, "Thanks, Mum. It is all thanks to you.

So should I go and prepare some dinner for us all? I am sure you would like to try out my cooking."

Edward replied, "Yup. We would be happy to try some of your cooking. Alex has, I'm sure, and Eleanor and I would love it, too."

Eleanor added, "Would you like me to help out, dear?"
