Nerine said, "Oh, let me help you, Mum. I wouldn't want my dear mother to clean up all by herself."

Eleanor replied, "Ahh thank you, dear. The help would be much appreciated."

Eleanor began putting some of the plates and other items back on the tray and allowed Nerine to help clean up as well.

Nerine also began to clean up, putting the plates and glasses back on the tray and also closing the juice bottles. Once done, she said,

"Please let me carry the tray to the kitchen and I'll be right back."

She carried the tray and went towards the kitchen.

Eleanor nodded and sat down with the others in the living room, chatting with them, while Nerine went into the kitchen to clean up the plates and forks and to put away the juice bottles.

(Ok, have to get off to eat dinner now but I'll be back later. ^^)

Nerine finished cleaning the plates and glasses as well as putting them back into their places. She then returned to the others and said,

"I am back. Anyone missed me?"

Eleanor looked up and smiled as did the rest of the party. Even Alex smiled warmly towards Nerine, for he observed that she looked so happy and he couldn't help but be happy for her.

Eleanor replied, "Welcome back, dear. We've been waiting for your return. So I was telling Alex about the house and all. I believe the two of you would like a tour, yes?"

Nerine replied, "Sure, I'd like to if Sir Alex agrees as well."

Alex replied, "Sure, I'd love a tour. I'm not familiar with the layout of the house, either, so it's a good idea to get acquainted with it."

Edward replied, "Ahh ok. Eleanor and I can give you the grand tour. Bryan, would you like to join us?"

Bryan shook his head and replied, "Actually, I should get home. I need to get some details about my concert tour straight and all that."

Edward replied, "Ahh ok."

Alex replied, "It was good to see you, Bryan. So Nerine and I might see you tomorrow?"

Bryan replied, "Yup. If I can get the arrangements all in order, I'll drop by." Turning to Nerine, Bryan said, "I should get going now but I wish you and Alex the best of luck and the greatest happiness ever."

Nerine bowed and replied, "It was nice seeing you, Bryan. I hope to see ypi again soon. Have a pleasant journey home."

Bryan bowed in return and replied, "Yup, we'll see each other again soon."

Alex then escorted Bryan to the front door and then Bryan left to return to his house. Then Alex returned to the others in the living room and said, "So let's begin the tour."

Eleanor stood up and replied, "Ok, everyone, follow me. I know the layout of this house well."

Nerine nodded and stood up as well then waited for Eleanor to begin the tour.

Edward stood up as well and then stood beside Eleanor, allowing his wife to take the lead on the house tour.

Eleanor then said, "Let's see. You're already with the front hallway, living room, and now the kitchen so I'll show you the other areas of the house."

She then began to walk towards the dining room, which looked elegant with a long table fit for many guests to come over and have dinner. Then she showed them the recreation room, where Alex and Nerine could sit down and relax together, as the living room was a more formal place for guests. Then she showed them the library, which contained many books on the shelves as well as a couple of desks and chairs along with a couple of sofas and armchairs. Then she showed them the music room, which contained a beautiful grand piano and some instruments, including a violin.

Eleanor paused when they entered the music room. "So what do you think so far? I admit that the music room isn't as grand as the one at Bryan's but Bryan is definitely the musician-type."

Nerine looked around the music room and pretty loved it. She especially loved the violins.

"Wow, this is great. And the violins look great."

Eleanor replied, "I'm happy that you love it. What about you, Alex?"

Alex replied, "Wow, it's a great room, Mom, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Come look at it, darling."

Alex directed Nerine to look outside the window, where they could see a small lake outside and then nearby some trees.

Nerine took a look at the view outside and couldn't help but admire the beautiful scene.

"Wow, this is very beautiful. I am very lucky to live in such a house."

Edward replied, "I'm so happy that the two of you love this place. Eleanor and I were quite fortunate to find such wonderful land to build your house."

Eleanor nodded and replied, "So let's go upstairs now and check it out."

Eleanor led the way upstairs and showed them the guest bedrooms. There were at least five guest bedrooms so that Alex and Nerine could have plenty of their friends come over and spend the night. Also, she showed them the master bedroom, which Alex and Nerine had been in earlier. There was a beautiful big bed in the room and dressers and closets made of the most expensive pine wood. Eleanor showed them the room and said,

"Edward and I took the liberty of moving some of your clothes here, Alex, and Nerine, I personally took it upon myself to buy you some dresses and other accessories. So there should be some nice shoes and purses. Of course, Alex must take you shopping for some more items as soon as he gets settled down and all."

Alex chuckled and replied, "Awww, don't worry, Mom. I'll take Nerine into town first thing and buy her some wonderful things for her."

Nerine blushed and bowed. "Thank you very much, Mum, Dad and of course Sir Alex. I am very fortunate to have you all as my family. I hope I deserve to be a part of this welcoming, warm family."

Eleanor smiled and replied, "It's my pleasure, dear, and of course, Alex is the lucky one here." She winked towards Alex, which caused him to blush a bit.

Eleanor then continued, "So you've seen the entire inside of the house now. Would you like to check out the outside? There's still enough daylight out for that."

Nerine replied, "If it's no trouble for you, then I certainly don't mind. I am sure Sir Alex agrees."

Alex nodded and replied, "I'm all good to check out the outside as well."

Eleanor replied, "All right then. Follow me."

She led the party downstairs and out the front door and showed them the garden first, where there was a beautiful patch of irises, blue flowers, and red roses to be seen. Eleanor stopped to gaze at the flowers.

"I love looking at the flowers. They're so beautiful and they always make me smile."

Nerine bent down beside the irises, gazing at their lovely beauty.

"I've always loved irises. They are so beautiful and pretty and a symbol of peace. My mother always loved putting irises in my hair."

Eleanor smiled and replied, "I made a pretty good guess then. I chose the flowers myself. I wasn't sure which flowers you would like so I thought of ones which I would like. It looks like our interests are similar."

Nerine smiled and replied, "Yup, sure looks it. Irises are really beautiful, they have always been my favorite kind of flowers."

Eleanor replied, "Yup, irises really are quite beautiful. So let's go out back and I'll show you the lake."

Eleanor led the party to the back of the house, where there was the lake that Nerine and Alex had seen earlier from the music room. There were a few ducks swimming in the lake and there was plenty of backyard space to run around and play.

Nerine gazed at the pretty view of the lake. It looked very peaceful and lovely and the water was shining brightly. The breezes felt so good.

"Wow, this is very pretty. Yup, as I said, I am very lucky."
