Rosaline threw a pillow on the door, which was wet of tears.

"Please, leave me alone, Dad! I don't want to talk to anyone!"

Patriaclos sighed. Without saying anything further, he went downstairs and to the dining room where dinner was being laid out.

Addressing Rosalind, Patriaclos said, "Uhh, your sister doesn't want to eat. She doesn't want to talk to anyone, for that matter."

Rosalind was disappointed, for she hoped that her father might be able to get Rosaline.

She sighed. "I really don't like Rosaline's condition. I really am so desperate about getting her back to normal."

Patriaclos replied, "Yes, I agree with you as well. I'm worried about Rosaline's condition but I don't know if I can do anything to help. Maybe you or Andra could go upstairs and talk to her?"

Rosalind shook her head and replied, "I doubt that will work. Rosaline seems stubborn and I can't help. Enough she tried to kill me before, I don't think she will welcome me to comfort her now."

Patriaclos nodded his head and turned to Andra. "Honey, what do you think? Maybe you can talk to Rosaline?"

Andra sighed and replied, "I'll go and see if I can help. I am sure I might be helpful since I am her mother and all."

She went upstairs to check on Rosaline and see if she could talk to her.

While Andra was upstairs, Rosalind sat down on the sofa and said,

"Man, if I found that person who killed Rosaline's boyfriend, I'll kill him for that."

Patriaclos nodded and replied, "It really broke up Rosaline what happened and all."

Greg looked on at both Rosalind and Patriaclos wondered what was going on.

(Poor Greg is clueless. )

Rosalind sighed and looked at Greg.

"Sorry about all that, dear. Things are just being so..." She could only sigh again.

Greg replied, "Oh umm, well, it's probably none of my business to ask so I won't. But as you can see, I'm a little confused. I know that Rosaline's boyfriend died but was he murdered?"

Rosalind nodded and replied, "Yes, he was. He was on a date with Rosaline at the time and someone killed him off with an arrow from behind. Rosaline was ok physically but mentally, she was miserable."

Greg replied, "I see. Why would anyone murder him, though? It seems so unbelieveable."

Rosalind replied, "He was one of the richest boys in the town. His father was a very wealthy merchant but he had enemies. Maybe, just maybe, someone wanted to kill his son for revenge or something."

Greg replied, "Oh I see. Poor Rosaline. Now I understand why she's closed her heart off to love. I'm glad to know that you haven't, my love, for otherwise, we would have never met and fallen in love and are now married."

He hugged Rosalind close to him.

(Hmm, I should look out for Bryan then after reading all that just now. O_O)

Rosalind smiled a bit and returned his hug.

"I have been heart broken a lot but I always knew that maybe one day, I'll find someone who will truly love me for who am I."

Greg touched Rosalind's cheek and replied, "And I've never been happier than I am now to have found the love of my life-a beautiful, loving faithful woman whom I can spend the rest of my life with and raise a wonderful family together."

Rosalind blushed and was about to reply when she saw Andra coming downstairs.

Andra sighed and said, "Nothing new. She wouldn't let me in."

Patriaclos sighed and replied, "I was afraid of that. Should we just leave Rosaline alone for now? Although she should get something to eat. Perhaps I can bring a dinner tray up for her if she doesn't want to come down."

Rosalind said, "Good idea, Dad. I'll go and get a tray of food for her."

Patriaclos smiled and replied, "Ok then. Once you have the tray ready, I'll bring it up for your sister."

Rosalind nodded and went to go and get a tray of food for Rosaline. It didn't take her long and soon she returned with a tray with some chicken and rice along with some salad and orange juice.

She said, "Alright, here it is."

Patriaclos replied, "Thanks, honey. I'll bring the tray up to Rosaline and return shortly. In the meantime, you all can get yourselves settled in the dining room, ok?"

Patriaclos took the tray from Rosalind and walked upstairs, carefully carrying the tray so that its contents wouldn't spill. Once he arrived outside of Rosaline's room, he set the tray down on the floor next to the door and knocked on the door.

"Rosaline, it's me again. If you don't want to talk, that's fine but I brought some food for you. You should at least eat."

Rosaline replied from behind with an angry tone, "I said I don't want to eat! I don't want anything, just leave me alone!"

Patriaclos replied, "Honey, please don't be angry at me. I'm only worried about you and so is everyone else. Please don't shut us out. I'm leaving the tray outside but I'll be going back downstairs now."

Patriaclos then went back downstairs and into the dining room to meet with the others, having a sad expression on his face the whole time.

Rosalind had already prepared everything for dinner when she saw her father coming back. However, he looked sad.

"Dad, what's wrong?"
