Alex replied, "Are you sure that's ok with you, darling? I know that last night must have been scary, to say the least. Hopefully, Rosalind won't come back again but I just don't know..."

Bryan added, "Hmm, I see what Alex is saying. Miss Nerine, it certainly is no trouble if you and Alex wish to stay here for the rest of the time. I must say, though, that I will be quite busy the rest of this week because of my concert tour coming up but it would be no trouble to have you two stay."

Nerine smiled and replied, "Well, I am sure you would want to stay in peace and quiet and I certainly don't want to cause you any trouble of our stay. I assure you, I am going to be fine back there."

Bryan nodded and replied, "All right then." He continued to eat breakfast.

Alex replied, "Well, with me there, my darling Nerine shall always be safe.

So Bryan, since we're here, should we have the tour of your place first after breakfast and then we can leave for my parents' place?"

Bryan replied, "Yup, that sounds fine with me. I think Miss Nerine would be ok with that, too?"

Nerine replied, "Sure, that would be fun. I'd like to see your place, Bryan. And please call me Nerine."

(Sorry if I am sounding somewhat empty at the moment, I am terribly heart broken.)

(Awww, I'm sorry, Love. We can forego posting for the night if you want. I'm up pretty late as it is when I should be sleeping.)

Bryan replied, "All right then, Nerine. Well, let's all finish up breakfast and then I'll take the both of you on a tour around the place. Well, Alex has seen it before but I'm sure this will be a treat for Nerine."

Bryan continued to eat his breakfast while Alex was finishing up his. Fortunately, Alex was starting to get pretty full so he wouldn't order more food.

(Oh, it's alright. I need something to make me forget what I just found out.)

Nerine soon finished her breakfast and waited for Bryan and Alex to finish as well.

(Oh ok. Well, I hope things will be better for you soon, Love, and Alex and Bryan say the same.)

Alex finished up breakfast quickly and Bryan soon followed. Once they couldn't eat anymore, Bryan said, "Well, I guess we're all finished here."

Bryan rang the bell to summon the butler and asked him to start clearing the dishes. He then stood up and said,

"So let's begin the tour, shall we?"

Nerine stood up as well and replied, "I am ready if my lord is ready."

Alex stood up and replied, "Yup, I'm all done. I can't wait to see if there have been any changes since I was last here."

Bryan replied, "All right then. So follow me and we'll begin."

Bryan led the way out of the dining room and into the living room. Alex took Nerine's arm and gently escorted her, following Bryan's lead. Bryan showed them the paintings of his family, which included his parents, and the expensive vases that were displayed in the room. Then he led them down the main entrance way and showed them the huge crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Also, he showed them the library, which contained an enormous collection of books ranging from the greatest poets of all time to the modern plays and sonnets. Finally, before going outside, Bryan showed them the music room.

Bryan said, "Now this is my favorite room in the house. As you can see, there's a huge grand piano in the middle of the room and I love to practice on it although sometimes I go to the Carnahans' because their piano is good, too. Also, I can play a few other instruments such as the violin over there and the clarinet but the piano is my favorite."

Nerine looked over the music room and was very impressed to see how lovely it looked.

"Wow, Bryan, you sure have a pretty house. And this room is by far the prettiest. Hey, did you say you can play the violin? I used to practice that long ago but I am sure I am not as good as you are."

Bryan replied, "Thanks, Nerine. This is a pretty good house. My parents took great care of it before they passed away. And since I inherited it, I've been doing my best to care for it, too."

He paused and then continued, "So you say that you play, too? Perhaps you'd like to show us a little of your abilities."

Nerine blushed and replied, "Oh, well, I am not that good. I am sure that you might laugh at me if I played."

Bryan chuckled and replied, "Nah, I could never laugh at you, Nerine. Please, I insist. Show us some of your abilities. It's been a while since I listened to someone else other than myself play."

Nerine blushed and replied, "Well, if you insist."

She took a small violin from the room and carefully played it. She tried to make the sound as beautiful as she could. She looked at Bryan and Alex and wondered what did they think of her playing.

Once Nerine finished playing, Alex and Bryan both starting clapping.

Bryan replied, "Wow! That was great, Nerine. You and I should play a duet sometime."

Alex added, "Yup, yup. There's nothing that my darling can't do. She plays so beautifully." Alex's grin was so wide, brimming with happiness.

Nerine blushed and carefully put the violin back to it's place.

"Thanks, guys. It's been quite a while since I've played the violin so I didn't expect it to be good. I have been always more talented in drawing myself."

Alex held Nerine in his arms and said, "Yup, I've seen my darling's drawings and they are beautiful. I especially treasure the one where she drew me. I keep it near and dear to my heart always."

Bryan couldn't help but smile a bit seeing Alex and Nerine together like that and happy with one another.

Nerine blushed and replied, "Well, you know, at that time I was just so crazily in love with you. I sometimes sang love songs for you. The painting I gave you was just one of the things I have made for you."

Alex replied, "I only wish I could give you something in return. I love you so much, darling, and if anything were to tear us apart, I don't know what I'd do. Promise me that no matter what happens, that you'll always love me and never forget how much I love you, for I can never, ever forget the impact that you have made on my life and on my heart."

(Ok, getting late here so I should get some sleep now. Nite, nite Love, and I hope that you'll feel better. Alex says to write some chapters for Nerine's Past if possible and I've already sent Greg after you-know-who. )

Nerine blushed and replied, "Dear, your love is the only thing that I need in my life. Your love is the source of my life and the power I use to live. But of course, I promise that I will never forget you, I'll always love you, and I'll never forget how much your love is great for me."

(Nerine shouldn't make promises she can't keep. lol)

Alex looked adoringly into Nerine's eyes and Bryan looked on at the happy couple.

Bryan said, "You two really are lucky to have one another."

Back in Lessire in Rosalind's house, Greg woke up shortly after the sun had rose. The first thing he saw was his dear Rosalind, sleeping soundly beside him.

Wow, I can't believe Rosalind said yes to marrying me and soon we'll start a happy new life together.

(Yup, thought I should have Greg and Rosalind wake up at some point. lol)

(lol)

Nerine blushed and looked at Bryan. "Thanks, Bryan. I agree that I am very lucky to have found Lord Alex. I know he made my life shine brighter and entered the happiness inside my life."

Bryan replied, "Yup. I've never seen Alex so happy. At least now I see what it's like to be in love and I must admit that I envy the two of you."

Bryan winked before continuing. "So shall we continue the tour? I believe we've looked at everything inside the house so it's only the outside left."

Nerine replied, "Sure, I'd like to see the outside part. I am sure you have pretty flowers and plants around and I'd like to see them."

Bryan nodded and replied, "All right then. Please follow me, everyone."

Bryan led the way to the main hallway of the house and opened the front door, leading to the outside. Alex escorted Nerine and followed Bryan. Bryan led them to a beautiful patch of flowers nearby, where there were a variety of flowers growing, ranging from irises, daises to roses in a variety of colors.

Greg looked adoringly at Rosalind, gazing at her beautiful, serene sleeping face. Gently, he brushed away a lock of her hair and continued to look at her and stroked her cheek but softly enough so that she wouldn't wake up just yet.
