Romance RP

(Ok.  XD)

Matthew saw the couple and approached them, unaware of Nerine's attitude.  Once they were within speaking distance, he said,

"Hey, you two.  Lunch is about ready so we wanted to let you both know."

Alex's eyes lit up with excitement and he asked, "What are we having?"

Matthew smiled and replied, "A seafood feast.  You'll love it."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, 

"You definitely will, Alex. The chefs prepared a huge variety of dishes and they all sound to be quite delicious."

Nerine didn't really like how Lycoris tried to make any conversation with Alex, and nodding, she replied,

"Thank you for telling us. We'll be right there."

She was attempting to finish the conversation as soon as possible, even if she sounded a little rude doing so.

Matthew smiled at the couple and replied, "Ok, we'll see you at the table shortly."

He turned to Lycoris and said, "Let's head to the dining room and wait for the others, shall we?"

(It's been really a long time since I've last posted here and I am so sorry about that. =/ Been really busy with college things from projects to exams and now it's the finals so yeah. Although I can definitely squeeze in some minutes to reply every day, my mind is pretty distracted and I can't think of my replies thoroughly if you know what I mean and all. ^^' I'll honestly try to clear my mind and post more often. I miss you a lot and I miss coming here and posting as usual.  )

Lycoris nodded and smiling softly, she said, "Yes, let's go. I can't wait to try out tonight's delicious dinner."

She followed Matthew to the dining room, where the others were starting to gather.

(Btw, I was checking Steam earlier and I noticed you started playing Shuffle! a little while back. I am curious to hear what you think of it and all. ^^)

(Awww hey, it's great to see you.  I did figure that you've been pretty busy and all so it's ok.  I hope that you'll get a break after your exams are over.  ^^    And yup, I started playing Shuffle! a little while back.  I like it so far.  It has both silliness and seriousness in it.  So far, I finished Asa's, Mayumi, and Lisianthus' paths.  I'm currently going for Lisianthus' true path.  ^^)

Matthew gently held onto Lycoris' arm and escorted her to the dining room.  Then, he escorted her to her seat and took a seat beside her.  As they waited for the others to gather, the maids laid out plates, utensils, and glasses for all the places at the table.

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ And I am glad you like Shuffle! so far. I wonder what you think of the characters so far. The differences between the RP's versions and the game's and such. XD)

The first to arrive after Matthew and Lycoris were Lady Penelope and the chancellor. As they saw the couple, the chancellor gave them a small smile and said,

"Hello, dears. It's good to see you again. I see that we're getting ready to have lunch. Any idea what we will have for today?"

(Rin is pretty bland.  The females stand out way more.  XD  I like Lisianthus a lot.  Both Lisianthus in the game and the RP are pretty similar although I think that in the RP version, she's tougher.  XD  I haven't played through Nerine's path yet so I'll hold off on giving opinions about her until I do so.  ^^)

Matthew smiled and replied, "We're going to have quite the feast today.  There will be a variety of seafood platters laid out and the chefs have been working hard to make our meal delicious.  I think you'll like it."

(At least I think it's seafood.  It's been a while so I may have forgotten.  lol)

(I definitely agree on Rin. XD And I'll be curious to hear your opinion on the rest of the characters. ^^ And yup, it's seafood. XD)

The chancellor smiled and replied, "I am looking forward to it."

A few moments later, Alex and Nerine entered the dining room, and Nerine spoke up,

"Hello, everyone. We're here."

(Ahh nice.  XD)

Matthew smiled gently at the couple and said, "Hello.  I'm glad both of you could make it."

While Alex helped Nerine into her seat before he took a seat beside her, Matthew's dad entered the dining room and said,

"Hello, everyone.  I thought I'd join you all for lunch."

Lady Penelope smiled softly as Matthew's dad entered the room and said, "It's wonderful to see you, sir. We're glad that you could join us for lunch."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "That's true. I am happy you're here, sir. It helps to take a break for a bit from work and join the company of everyone else, right?"

Matthew's dad nodded happily and replied, "Yup, it certainly does."

He took a seat at the table.  As Matthew looked around, he noticed that only the shapeshifter was absent, so he turned to Lady Penelope and asked,

"Will your daughter join us, my lady?"

Lady Penelope sighed sadly and giving Matthew an apologetic smile, she replied,

"I'm afraid not. I asked her to join us but she answered that she would prefer to have her lunch alone for today. I apologize for that. I don't know what's wrong with her but perhaps she needs some time alone."

Matthew nodded sadly and replied, "I understand.  I'll ask for one of the maids to bring lunch for her."

He gestured for a nearby maid to prepare a tray of lunch for the shapeshifter and she went to do so right away.

(Sorry I wasn't able to post for the past couple of days. I had a pretty difficult exam yesterday so yeah, I had to study like a week before non-stop. lol At least it went well and all. ^^)

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied, "Thanks for understanding, darling. I hope she can come out of this state she's locking herself in soon."

Lycoris was a little worried and addressing Matthew, she quietly said, "Maybe we should go see her after lunch, Matt?"

(Ahh I see.  I understand.  I'm glad it went well.  ^^  Oh and in case you're curious, there's now a MangaGamer bundle on Humble Bundle and Finding Paradise is on Steam as well.  XD)

Matthew turned to Lycoris and nodding, he replied, 

"That's a great idea, Lycoris.  We'll go check on her after we have lunch."

The maids had finished laying out all of the delectable dishes of food and gesturing to everyone, Matthew said,

"Let's eat before the food gets cold."

(Ooh coolies. I checked the bundle and although it looks like a pretty good deal, I either have the games or I am not too interested in them. XD Hopefully I am luckier next bundle they make that's similar to this one. XD)

The party nodded and they started eating their lunch, which was hot and delicious. Lycoris had a smile on her face as she tried the different recipes and they all tasted quite good. She commented,

"This is a new experience for me but it's a very good one. This is some of the best foods I tried."

(Yeah, same here.  There was only one game I was interested in that bundle and one of my friends gave me a key code for it since she didn't want it.  XD  Awww yeah, hopefully, there will be another VN bundle with better games.  The Higurashi games are pretty good although if they'd added Umineko, that would have been perfect.  XD)

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "I'm glad you like the dishes, Lycoris.  The chefs really wanted to make these foods as tasty for you."

Alex added, "Yup, the food here is great as always."

(Ahh I am not really into the Higurashi games although I do think that the bundle is a pretty good offer if someone is interested in them and all. XD And sorry it took me a few days to reply. I want the exams to be done already. I think this is the most stressful semester I've been through. T_T)

The party continued enjoying their food, and Lycoris would comment on how each plate tasted uniquely delicious. They continued eating and eventually, Lady Penelope, Lycoris and Nerine were starting to finish up their shares.

(Awww it's all right.  I can certainly relate when I had exams back in the day.  At least you're studying hard on them, and thanks for Finding Paradise.  I hope you'll be able to have a well-deserved break soon.  ^^)

Soon, Matthew, Alex, and Matthew's dad finished up their meals as well and once everyone was done, Matthew asked the maids to take care of the clean up.  While they started to do so, Matthew turned to the others and asked,

"What are your plans for the rest of the day?"

(No problem and thanks. ^^ And I had my first exam yesterday although unfortunately, it didn't go too well. T_T I prepared pretty well for it but it was quite difficult. :/ Oh well. Hopefully I can make up for it the next exams. XD)

Nerine turned to Alex and replied, "My Alex and I will find something to do, right, darling? Maybe we can spend more time in the gardens?"

Lady Penelope replied curiously, "Can I join you, dears? I think I could use some fresh air as well."

(Aww I'm sorry about that.  I wish you the best of good luck on your next exams.  ^^)

Alex blushed and nodded, silently agreeing with Nerine's suggestion.  As he heard Lady Penelope's question, he looked to Nerine and said,

"I'd certainly welcome the company and would my darling like it as well?"

Although Nerine would have preferred to enjoy Alex's company on her own, she couldn't refuse Lady Penelope's request and nodding, she said, 

"Oh of course. It would be great to have you around, Lady Penelope."

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied, "Thank you, dears. It will be a quiet, peaceful afternoon for us."

Alex nodded and Matthew's dad turned to the chancellor and said,

"I'll head back to the library and do a bit more reading.  Would you care to join me?  The company would be great."

The chancellor nodded with a welcoming smile and replied, "Of course. The library here is quite rich with a variety of wonderful books. I enjoy every moment I spend there."

As everyone made their plans to spend the afternoon, Lycoris addressed Matthew quietly and said, "Should we go see the shapeshifter? I'd like to check on her, make sure she's ok."

Matthew nodded and quietly replied back, "Sure, we should check on her and see how she's doing."

He turned to the others and said, "It looks like everyone's plans are set so we'll see you all back here for dinner."

He then got up from his seat and helped Lycoris to get up.  Then the two of them left the dining room table and headed upstairs to the shapeshifter's room.
