Romance RP

(Again, I am sorry I couldn't come on today. I had a lot of studies to finish all. :/ It's my graduation year so yeah, things are a bit hectic. ^^

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied, "I see. So what decides which dressing goes for which salad? Or is it more about which blend of tastes suits the salad?"

(Awww it's ok.  I remember how that was.  ^^)

The chef replied, "It's really more of a matter of personal preference.  Naturally, some dressings are more favorable for certain salads although it's certainly not the case for this one."

The head chef looked to the chef and asked, "Would you mind making an olive oil dressing as well?  That way, our guests can decide which dressing to use."

The chef nodded and replied, "Sure, I can do that."

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ I'm really hoping I can have a more steady schedule soon although I guess it doesn't help that my brother is going through an important year as well and he needs my help often. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Thanks for your generosity, sir. I would like to try both kinds of dressings and see for myself which one suits this salad."

As they were done checking this station, Lycoris asked the head chef, "Are there any other stations we can check, sir?"

(Ahh I see.  XD)

The head chef nodded happily and replied, "Of course.  There is the fried seafood station.  You can't have a seafood meal without some of it being fried.  Please follow me."

The party followed the head chef to the fried seafood station where a couple of chefs were making the batter and preparing the seafood to be deep fried.

The party followed the head chef to the fried seafood station and Lycoris could hear the oil boiling as it was being prepared to deep fry the seafood. She asked,

"So what kind of seafood can be fried? Everything or are there things in particular that taste good being fried?"

The head chef replied, "Well, shrimp is the most common seafood that is fried and, of course, we're frying it.  But crabs and lobster can be fried as well.  Have you tried clams or scallops, miss?"

(Random but I started to play Enigma finally.  XD)

(Oooh coolies. XD I noticed earlier your achievement and I was going to ask you about it. I am curious to know what you think of it so far. XD)

Lycoris looked thoughtful and replied, "Not really. Are they sea creatures, as well? And can they be fried too?"

(Just got back from work and I'm really liking Enigma so far.  The story is really good and gosh, it's been a while since I played a very good VN.  XD)

The head chef nodded and replied, "Oh yes, miss.  They're both sea creatures."

One of the chefs added, "We're also frying clams and scallops and making a tangy sauce to go along with it."

(Yup, yup, I totally agree. XD It's one of the best VNs I played and it only gets better. XD)

Lycoris smiled happily and replied,

"I can't wait to try all that. It seems like I have a lot of new tastes to try today."

She addressed Matthew as she said, "You'll help me differentiate and tell me which is which, ok?"

(Totally.  I have no idea why I waited so long to play this.  lol)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Of course.  I'll let you know which foods you're tasting."

The head chef added, "We would love to know how you like our cooking, miss."

(Haha. XD Let me know what you think when you're finished with it and all. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Oh I am sure I will absolutely love it. I am only curious to compare the different tastes. I am always quite excited to try something new."

(No problem.  I'll probably write a review once I'm done.  XD)

The head chef nodded happily and replied, "I certainly understand.  Would you like to check out the shrimp scampi section next?  I'm guessing that you haven't had it before?"

(Coolies. XD)

Lycoris had a curious look over her face as she replied,

"Shrimp scampi? I guess that's another way to cook shrimps? How is it made?"

The head chef replied, "Well, you can't eat raw shrimp since that's not healthy.  So you first peel the shell off the shrimp, boil them in a pot of water until they're pink and then you arrange them beautifully in a circle, placing the sauce in the middle.  Then you can take a shrimp, dip in the sauce, and eat it.  It's as simple as that."

Lycoris nodded in understanding and then looking thoughtful, she replied,

"Okay...so that means that shrimps can be boiled and also fried, right? Are there any other ways shrimp can be cooked with?"

The head chef looked thoughtful and replied, "They can be baked, too."

Matthew commented, "I like baked shrimp that's been sprinkled with lemon juice and butter sauce.  It's really delicious."

The head chef replied, "Ahh yes, we're preparing that dish, too."

(I'll get off and take care of a few things before I go to sleep but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied,

"Now I definitely can't wait. I really have a lot of new tastes to try."

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "Lunch will have a lot of variety today."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  I can't wait to try out all these wonderful dishes, too."

The head chef commented, "We're very happy to prepare such a variety for everyone."

(Sneaking in some time to post while I can. XD)

Lady Penelope smiled softly and to Lycoris and Matthew, she said, 

"It's wonderful of you. Well, I suppose we should gather everyone for the meal, shouldn't we? It's only so little before the lunch will be ready."

(Ahh ok.  Sorry I couldn't post last night.  I was really tired from work and then dealing with certain online idiots who judge me when they simply could have asked me stuff doesn't help, either.  And then I wake up this morning and find out that I did something incorrectly and I tried to fix it but stupid Twitter wouldn't let me do so correctly so I had to find another way and I ended up crying because I hate my computer so much but yeah, I'll be fine.)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, we should.  Should we split up on finding the others and meet up in the dining room?"

(I'm really, really, really sorry for not posting at all the past week. I'm terribly busy with studies, work, the pharmacy and studying for my brother. So yeah, I am too distracted. T_T)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, 

"Sure. I'll get my daughter and I'll find the chancellor. He's probably in your dad's company if he's free, Matt. Why don't you call for Alex and Nerine?"

(It's ok.  I've been getting busy as well and I hope I'll be getting busier.  I was recently hired as a freelance copywriter by an online company that has quite a lot of its games on Steam.  Hopefully, I'll get a project to edit soon and be busier.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure, that sounds good.  They'll either be in their room or out in the gardens."

He turned to Lycoris and smiling softly, he said, "Let's go."

Lycoris nodded and followed Matthew out of the kitchen. Looking thoughtful, she said, 

"Should we check the gardens? They may be having a walk there or something."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure, that's a good idea.  They'll most likely be out in the gardens."

He gently held onto Lycoris' arm as the two of them headed out the front door to the gardens to find Alex and Nerine.

(I am somehow working on freeing up my schedule and I should hopefully get more free time to post once I am done with the work I have. XD Anyhow, I'll post now when I can. XD)

In the gardens, indeed, Alex and Nerine were having a peaceful walk, enjoying the fresh air and each other's company. As they did, Nerine noticed Lycoris and Matthew coming from far towards them and was a little annoyed, wondering what Lycoris wanted.
