Romance RP

Ryan was surprised by the question but calmly, he replied,

"Of course.  I wouldn't want to be completely cut off from the human world.  It's been my home for so long.  But the gods' world is beautiful, too, don't you think?"

Rosaline nodded and replied, "Oh I know but I was just wondering. I mean, if you set a date on going back to the humans' world, you know, sometime soon for a little while. I am sure you must miss it and all."

Although Ryan did plan to visit the human world during his honeymoon with Lisianthus, he couldn't mention that without upsetting Rosaline.  So instead, he replied,

"Don't worry.  I won't be away from the human world for years.  I have to see it now and again, right?"

(I should get off for the night now and get some sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I get back from work and all that.  Nite, nite, Love, and see you tomorrow.  ^^)

Although Rosaline was taken aback by Ryan's response, as it clearly indicated that Ryan planned to remain in the gods' world for who knew how long, she didn't let it affect her too much, and continued, a little shaking,

"Um, that-that's not exactly what I meant. I-I mean, I was wondering if you would like to go back to the humans' world for a little while, like a few days, and I-I could come with you. You know, a small visit wouldn't hurt."

She held her breath, wondering about Ryan's reaction to her suggestion.

(My schedule got rearranged so that's why I'm back earlier than usual.  My break time's been eliminated but on the upside, I get to go home earlier.  XD)

Ryan wondered what brought on Rosaline wanting to invite him back to the human world for a few days and he knew he couldn't for quite a few reasons.  He replied,

"I'd like to but I'd feel awful just suddenly stopping Lycoris' lessons when we've only begun.  She still has a lot to learn."

(Ahh I see. Welcome back. XD)

Rosaline looked disappointed but then, she pretty much expected Ryan to refuse and she had a feeling it got to do with more than just Lycoris. She nodded and replied,

"Umm I understand. Sorry about that. It was just a crazy idea of mine."

She didn't say anything more, but tried to pay her attention to the surroundings.

(Ahh I spent the morning cleaning so I have to get off for a while to take a shower and all. XD I'll be back on soon. See you later, phoenix. ^^)

(Ahh ok.  I'll try to stay on for as long as I can.  ^^)

Ryan shook his head and giving Rosaline a kind smile, he replied,

"No, not at all.  If I could, I'd go with you but it's just that with Lycoris and that horrible captain still out there, I wouldn't feel right leaving her until she gets strong enough to defend herself.  I worry for her safety."

(Although it's early here, I'll have to get off for the night, unfortunately.  Still having the coughs and my dad got on my case about not getting enough rest even though I clearly am.  It kind of upset me since I can't control my coughs and all and meh, I don't see why he just didn't say I should go to the doctor at this point.  But anyway, I'll get off for the night and with any luck, I'll be completely better tomorrow.  Here's hoping, I guess.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Ahh I understand and I hope you feel all better soon, phoenix. ^^ If your coughs don't get any better, I suggest just going to the pharmacy for OTC medicines and you don't have to go to the doctor or anything. It's probably just the weather and all. ^^ Nite, nite. ^^)

Rosaline nodded but encouraged by Ryan's smile to say something else, she said,

"Well, at least perhaps we could go out together more frequently? Here, in the gods' world. I mean, if it's okay with you. So we just get to spend more time together, that's all."

(Yeah, I think that's true.  It certainly hasn't help any that it's still cold here.  :/)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, that would be nice.  We'd have to do so in the afternoons, if that's all right.  Lycoris' lessons are in the morning so I want to reserve that time just for her."

(Ahh hopefully, it gets better soon and try to warm yourself up as much as possible. ^^)

Rosaline was glad that Ryan accepted her last suggestion and nodding, she replied, "Of course, I understand. Afternoons, evenings-whatever you like."

She gave a happy smile to Ryan, happy indeed that she'd get to spend more time with him.

(Ahh btw, today is the last day I'll be able to RP regularly. =\ College starts tomorrow and all so I'll be quite busy again and all. ^^ But I'll do my best to be active on Fridays and hopefully Saturdays too. XD)

(Ahh I see.  In that case, I'll do my best to stay up so we can RP today as much as possible.  ^^)

Ryan returned Rosaline's smile, happy that things between them seemed to be getting better.  The two of them continued to look around the autumn section and after they were done, Ryan asked,

"So what next?  Do we have time for another section before seeing the spring one?"

(Ahh alright. Just don't push yourself, ok? ^^)

Rosaline looked at the sky and noticing the time, she replied,

"I think the spring section would be enough for today. It's starting to get dark and we don't want to keep everyone waiting and all. We can take a look at the other sections some other time."

(Ok, will do.  ^^)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good."

He reached out to gently hold Rosaline's uninjured hand and led the way towards the spring section, wanting to enjoy it before they had to return to the castle.

Rosaline blushed slightly but smiled happily in the same time as Ryan held her hand and led the way to the spring section. Though she knew that it didn't mean anything, and it was still a far, long way before she could get him to feel towards her as before, it made her a little hopeful.

They made it at the spring section and this time, Rosaline would point out the interesting sights and things to Ryan, pointing them out delightfully.

Ryan looked around as Rosaline pointed out the interesting sights and such to him.  He smiled and looked at her happily, feeling more relaxed than ever.  He commented,

"I truly love this section.  Spring feels like when everything comes alive again."

Rosaline nodded happily and replied, "That's true. Its beauty and cheerfulness is enough to bring happiness into any heart. I can see why it's your favorite and I definitely agree with you."

Ryan smiled and replied, "Yup, it sure is and I like looking at all the different animals here.  They're different from the ones back home but in a way, they're not so different at the same time."

Rosaline nodded in understanding and replied, "That's true and it's beautiful to see their differences, you know. Learning about other creatures that exist and seeing them for yourself is exciting. If we ever go to the devils' world again, I'd like to show you the animals there, too. They are a little similar to animals here although some are quite different."

Ryan's eyes lit up with interest as Rosaline mentioned the possibility of visiting the devils' world and he replied,

"I'd love that a lot and I'd like to meet any magic users there, too."

Rosaline smiled warmly as she saw the interest in Ryan's eyes and nodding happily, she said,

"Well then, pick a date and we can go. It's not that difficult to travel from here to there. And your specialty is dark magic, right? They are the experts at it and you'll learn so much from there about it, more than here even."

Ryan replied, "I'd love that.  Once Lycoris can master her magic pretty well, then we can figure out when to go.  I'd love to see the devils' world and I know that I'd have a great tour guide to show me around."

He smiled happily at Rosaline, looking forward to a trip.

Rosaline grinned happily and replied, "I can't wait. I'll make sure you have the greatest time there."

They continued walking around more but then it was starting to get really dark and although Rosaline didn't want to end their time so soon, she didn't want to keep Bryan waiting. So she said,

"Do you think we should head back now? I don't want the others to worry about us."

Ryan noticed as well how dark it was getting and nodding, he replied,

"Yeah, we should head on back to the castle before the others worry.  But I had a great time with you today."

He smiled at Rosaline and gently holding her hand, he led the way out of the park and towards the horses.

Rosaline smiled to herself and she, too, had had a great time. She could see that Ryan enjoyed himself in her company as well and this was, at least, a hopeful start.

They made it back to their horses and after both were on, Rosaline directed her horse to follow Ryan's back to the castle.

Ryan led the way back towards the castle grounds and occasionally, he would glance behind to make sure that Rosaline was following him.  After a short distance, they arrived back at the stables and Ryan got off of his horse first and then helped Rosaline get off as well.  Then a stable hand came to take the horses back to their stalls where they could eat and get some rest.
