Romance RP

Rosaline nodded in understanding and replied, "The knowledge of magic here is a lot more advanced, that's true. They use magic pretty much everywhere. I suppose that's why you like it here more. But don't you feel a little like a stranger at times, because of the difference of races, I mean?"

Ryan scratched the back of his head and replied, "Well, I do admit that it does feel strange when some people stare at me because I'm a human.  Then again, people here haven't seen many humans so I understand.  But you know, if more humans know about this world, they can come visit and then it won't feel so strange."

Rosaline nodded in agreement and replied, "Oh yes, I agree with you there. Hmm well, if Sia does take care of strengthening the relations with the humans' world and inviting more of them here, it certainly wouldn't feel as strange after that."

Ryan nodded and replied, "That's true.  In fact, I told Sia that it might be a good idea to establish some sort of relations with the royals in the human world.  And she'll look into the possibility of more gods being able to travel to the human world.  I know that only a select number of gods can do so at the moment."

Rosaline nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's true. Not all gods can travel to the humans' world but certainly, if there's an easier way of going there, I am sure they would travel more easily and more frequently. Then they could give some of their magic experiences to the humans' world and the humans' world would be as developed too, in terms of magic. And of course, perhaps they could learn from the humans in term of science and technology."

Ryan smiled and replied, "Yes, that's exactly right."

Thinking about something, he then asked, "Do you know if in the devils' world, the people there specialized in something superior to the gods or humans?"

Rosaline looked thoughtful then replied, "Physical strength? It's said so at least although I am not sure if that counts or how true it is. But I don't think they were advanced in anything special but perhaps dark magic. I think they had a greater knowledge of that than even the gods."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ahh yes, I do remember that being mentioned and I thought that dark magic here was pretty incredible.  It'd be great to travel to the devils' world someday."

The two of them continued on their tour and once Ryan finished pointing out all the places he thought would interest Rosaline, he then said,

"How about we head to the park?"

Rosaline nodded and replied, "Sure, that sounds fine."

She directed her horse to follow Ryan towards the park where they could have a walk and the horses would rest.

Ryan led the way to the Four Marbles Park and as it was a short distance, the two of them soon arrived.  He then directed his horse to stop, got off of it, and then allowed the horse to rest while waiting for Rosaline to do the same.

Rosaline did the same as well and let her horse rest beside Ryan's horse. Then approaching him, she said,

"You can choose which section we can walk through first."

Ryan replied, "Well, I definitely don't want to miss the spring section but perhaps we can save it for last.  How about we take a walk in the autumn section and then the spring?  We should have enough time to check out both."

Rosaline replied, "Ok, sure. Lead the way and I'll follow behind."

She let him lead the way to the autumn section and followed him, walking by his side.

Ryan nodded and he led the way towards the autumn section.  Soon, they arrived and Ryan took the time to look around.  Marveling at its beauty, he said,

"I still find it amazing how this entire park is magical.  You'd never find anything like this back home."

Rosaline shrugged and replied, "Well, it's beautiful but hey, the humans' world is quite beautiful during autumn too. It's pretty how this park uses magic and looks so breathtaking but it stills feel a little unnatural, you know?"

Ryan thought about Rosaline's comment and after a moment, he nodded and replied, "I suppose you're right.  I certainly wouldn't use magic to improve anything that should allow nature to take its course.  But I suppose the gods rely on magic a lot and I can't tell them to do differently."

Rosaline nodded and replied, "I suppose and for a park, it's still a good idea. Like how you can enjoy the winter sports in summer, for example."

She paused then said, "Speaking of which...we should definitely visit the winter section and do the sports there like we agreed, with Bryan and Sia, of course, sometime."

Ryan smiled and nodding, he replied, "Sure, we should definitely do that.  Set up a date sometime for the four of us.  I remember when we all went skiing back home.  That was lots of fun."

Rosaline smiled on the memory and replied, "It definitely was. Just the three of us doing something fun and we were all so happy then."

She wished those days could be back, when Ryan still was with them and part of them as a family, not completely detached by Lisianthus who seemed to have taken him away all for herself.

(Wow, you know, Rosaline and Nerine could relate to each other.  XD)

Unaware of Rosaline's thoughts, Ryan replied, "Yup, those were some wonderful times.  I treasure those memories and I hope we have many more to come."

He continue to walk around the autumn section, admiring the colors of the leaves and the animals scurrying about.

(lol I suppose except that Rosaline isn't as violent as Nerine when it comes to Lisianthus. XD)

Rosaline didn't say anything anymore but she sighed inwardly. It felt terrible to be around Ryan but not be as close as they were before, and despite loving his company nevertheless, she just longed to be like him like how they used to be before, not like this.

(lol  That's true.  XD)

Ryan glanced at Rosaline and felt that her demeanor had changed.  Looking at her with concern, he asked,

"Is everything ok?"

Rosaline nodded quickly and replied, "Yeah, I am fine."

She did feel suddenly down but didn't know whether telling Ryan would make any difference, so she kept quiet.

Although Ryan wasn't convinced that Rosaline was all right, he decided not to press the issue.  He continued the walk in the autumn section and would try his best to be cheerful as he pointed out things that he thought were beautiful or interesting.

(Back now. XD)

Rosaline would look at the things Ryan would point out and she would comment back at them, too, expressing her interest. As they continued walking like so, she said,

"Wouldn't you like to visit the humans' world again sometime soon?"
