Romance RP

Lycoris entered with lots of hesitation in her movements. Lisianthus saw her come in and was pretty happy to see her. She said,

"Hey, Lycoris. It's good to see you."

Lycoris smiled just a bit although it was only for a second. She then said,

"I-I don't want to take much of your time but...I-I just wanted to ask Ryan something. I-I mean...I am willing to take up his offer...if he would be so kind to teach me how to use my powers."

Ryan was surprised but happy to hear that Lycoris wanted to take up his offer to learn magic.  Nodding happily, he replied,

"Of course.  It would be an honor for me to teach you, Lycoris, and I'm sure that you'll become a very powerful sorceress."

He wondered what had made Lycoris change her mind but was satisfied enough that Lycoris had come around.

Lisianthus was quite happy to hear about Lycoris' change of mind as well and replied happily,

"That's great to hear, Lycoris. Ryan will teach you as best as he could and you'll be quite strong in no time."

Lycoris smiled a bit then replied, "Thanks-Thanks, Ryan, Sia. Is-is it possible to start as soon as possible? I-I mean...tomorrow, if it's okay with you."

Ryan replied, "Definitely.  We'll have your first lesson after breakfast so make sure you get enough sleep and a good meal in the morning, ok?"

He looked forward to teaching Lycoris to use and control her powers.

(I wonder what made Lycoris change her mind, though.  XD)

(She thought things over her mind and thought that since the captain is still the obstacle in her way, she could learn how to be quite powerful, defeat him and then she can kill herself without worries. XD)

Lycoris nodded although she wasn't sure how well she would listen to Ryan's advice. Anyhow, she replied,

"Thank you. I will-I will leave you for the night then. And sorry again for disturbing you. Good-good night."

She walked carefully, finding her way to the door, before the soldier outside received and walked her back to her own room.

(Ahh I see but man, that last part worries me.  O.O)

After Lycoris left, Ryan turned to Lisianthus and said,

"I'm happy that Lycoris came around.  I wonder what got her to change her mind but I'm glad that she's decided to learn how to use her powers.  Maybe she'll see how useful she can be to herself and others."

(Yup. O.o)

Lisianthus nodded happily and said, "This is a happy change for sure. Happy news before the day is over. And she'll have a wonderful teacher with her."

She looked fondly at Ryan.

Ryan blushed and replied, "Aww, thanks, beautiful.  I've never taught anyone before but I'll do my best and Duchess Irene was a wonderful teacher so I can learn from her example as I teach Lycoris."

He felt happy as well that the day ended better than it had in the beginning.  He then said,

"Avi will sure be happy when he hears about this."

Lisianthus replied happily, "And Alex, too. I'd love to tell them right away but now isn't the time. Tomorrow morning it will be good news for all of them."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, it sure will be."

He noticed how late it was getting and then said, "Should we turn in for the night?  We can certainly look forward to tomorrow and I hope you loved the attention I gave you this evening."

Lisianthus grinned and replied, "I definitely did but you're right. We should go ahead and get some sleep now. You can use the bathroom first if you like, cutie."

(Ahh are Alex and Nerine going to visit Lycoris or nope? XD)

(Ahh that's right.  I'll get back to them.  XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, I'll be quick then."

He gave Lisianthus a kiss and after getting a pair of pajamas, he went to the bathroom to wash up and change.

Meanwhile, Alex and Nerine continued to spend the evening happily in each other's company.  Seeing how late it was getting, Alex turned to Nerine and said,

"It's getting late, darling.  We should turn in for the night but let's go check up on Lycoris first, ok?"

Nerine was secretly annoyed as Alex mentioned again checking up on Lycoris but knowing that she had promised him to go, she nodded and replied,

"Ahh of course. We should probably go then, before it's too late and we find her asleep or something."

(Ahh I hope it's ok to skip Ryan and Lisianthus. We can just assume they went to bed already if that's ok. XD)

(Ahh yup, that's fine.  XD)

Alex nodded and after putting the books that they had read back in their proper places, he returned to Nerine's side, held her arm gently, and walked out of the library and towards Lycoris' room.  He hoped that she hadn't fallen asleep yet, as he wished to check on her and make sure that she was all right.

The couple soon made it at Lycoris' room and upon seeing Nerine, the soldiers wondered whether they should prevent her from entering the room, according to Lisianthus' orders. But seeing Alex with her, they figured that she could do no harm in his presence.

Meanwhile, Lycoris had washed up and changed into a comfortable nightgown, and was preparing to sleep in the puppies' company.

Alex knocked on the door to Lycoris' room and gently called out,

"Lycoris, are you awake?  Nerine and I wanted to check up on you before we head on off to bed ourselves."

Lycoris was surprised as she heard Alex's voice and even more surprised as she heard him mention that Nerine was with him. Although she would have preferred to push him away and keep him out, knowing that Nerine was with him changed everything.

Sitting up quickly, she replied, "Yes-yes, I am awake. Come in."

Alex opened the door and after he and Nerine entered Lycoris' room, he gently closed the door behind them.  Approaching Lycoris, he said,

"How are you?  Everyone's been worried about you and even Nerine and I have been."

He looked at Nerine, giving a prompting look as though to back up his words.

Nerine saw the look on Alex's face and didn't like how he was almost pushing her to say something that wasn't true but cornered, she replied,

"Yeah, that's true. How are you doing now?"

Lycoris looked surprised and almost skeptical as she heard Alex and Nerine and for a moment, she didn't know what to say. But then she replied,

"I-I am fine. There's no need to worry about me."

Alex looked to Lycoris and replied, "Hey, I'll always be worried about you, even if you say otherwise."

He reached out to touch her hands and looking at the puppies, he smiled and said,

"It looks like little Bryan and Ryan will look out for you tonight."

Nerine looked sharply at Alex as she watched his interactions with Lycoris in front of her, although she didn't say anything. Meanwhile, Lycoris nodded and replied,

"Umm yeah. Bryan and Rosaline left them with me for the night."

She slowly pulled away her hands, fearing Nerine's wrath.

(O.O  But it's not like Alex kissed Lycoris in front of Nerine or anything like that.)

Alex felt a little hurt as Lycoris moved her hands away from his but thought it best not to comment.  Instead, he replied,

"That was really nice of them.  You should consider getting a puppy yourself at some point.  A pet would make a great companion."

(She doesn't want any sort of interaction between them. XD Even talking to her-she hardly bears that.)

Lycoris shook her head and replied, "It would be pointless. I wouldn't be able to take care of them."

Nerine added, "That's right. No need to get you a pet if you wouldn't be to take care of them at all or see them even. You're lucky these puppies can take care of themselves."

Lycoris nodded silently although she certainly didn't need to hear that.

(I see.  XD)

Alex glanced at Nerine and thought that her words towards Lycoris were harsh although he didn't comment on them.  He turned to Lycoris and said,

"Well, we can always talk about that later although there are lots of pets back home that are specially for the blind so it wouldn't be impossible to take care of one.

But you must be tired, right?  Nerine and I should get going but do you want anything before we leave?"

Lycoris shook her head and quietly replied, "No, thank you. Have a good night."

Nerine was silently glad this was over quickly, as she certainly hated being in Lycoris' presence and having to be nice to her.
