Romance RP

After a maid handed a menu to William and left, Megan asked, "What looks good tonight?"

Stacey glanced at the menu and replied, "I liked the baked crabs.  They sound yummy.  And hush puppies are good, too.  It's been a long time since I've had those."

Bryan smiled and replied, "Sure, I wouldn't mind at all.  I always enjoy playing the piano."

Alex added, "And some music would be soothing for all of us."

Bryan turned to Nerine and said, "Nerine, I think you told me that you play the violin.  Maybe you could play a piece as well."

(It's getting late here so I should get off for the night now and get some sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

William nodded and replied, "Sounds good. And we should have pineapple juice as well. It would go along nicely. That would be all, I suppose?"

Nerine turned to Bryan and nodding, she replied, "Sure, I'd like that. It's been a while since I played though so I don't know how well I will do."

Avi turned to her and said, "I am sure you'll be great, Nerine."

Just then, Lycoris finished talking to Lisianthus telepathically and spoke up, "Hey, everyone. I am done talking to Sia and I told her about everything. Umm she knows about Duchess Irene being in prison but she was quite angry when she heard about what Bryan and Avi did."

Megan nodded happily, agreeing with the choices for dinner.  Stacey did as well and said,

"Yup, and we can have those delicious bananas for dessert."

Bryan sighed and replied, "I had a feeling that might happen.  Does Lisianthus know why we went to find Duchess Irene?  Does she know all the details?"

William nodded happily and then he rang the bell for another maid. Once a maid arrived, he let her know about their orders and she left to bring everything.

Lycoris nodded and replied,

"Yeah, I told her about everything. She said that she didn't need more trouble than she was already facing and that you didn't need to do that. She said that it was quiet dangerous and now that the chancellor suspects you, it puts you in some real danger that she didn't lead."

After the maid left, Megan looked happily at William and said,

"I can't wait to start those drawings after dinner.  I had so much fun today and I want to remember it always."

Alex turned to Lycoris and asked, "Does Sia want us to leave?  I wish we could but it would look suspicious if we tried to so immediately."

William nodded happily in agreement and replied, "Same here, Megan. I'd like to see how you draw those beautiful sights, too. I am sure you'll picture them wonderfully."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yeah, I think she does. She said that having us there is dangerous for us because the chancellor may use us as a way to threaten her and he could very well hurt us."

She paused for a minute then said, "I also told her about the chancellor's offer to me but...I think that didn't help. She advised strongly against it."

Megan grinned and replied, "Thanks, William.  And I can't wait to have a pegasus of my own someday.  I love flying."

Stacey smiled and replied, "Me, too.  It'll be a while before we can have one, though.  We'll need to build your room first, of course."

Alex sighed and replied, "That doesn't surprise me.  Sia does have a point but I highly doubt that the chancellor would harm you."

He turned to everyone else and asked, "What do you all think we should do?"

William nodded and replied,

"Of course. But I will do my best to work hard so that we are able to build some stables sometime in the far future and get us a couple of pegasuses."

Rosaline shrugged and replied,

"There isn't much we can do, is there? I guess all we have to do is to wait and see how things will be. And Lycoris has that operation to do soon, right?"

Avi nodded and replied,

"Rosaline is right. Any try to leave now will get us caught for sure."

Megan hugged William and replied, "Thank you.  I really would like to have a pegasus someday and I promise to take very good care of him or her."

Stacey added, "And it would be great to have a couple of horses, too, so our stable should be medium-sized."

Alex replied, "That's true.  But we need a plan in case the chancellor happens to conclude that Avi and Bryan were the ones who knocked the soldiers unconscious.  I mean, would there be a point in continuing to deny it or would it be better to admit it and tell the reasons?  This plan wouldn't have been formed if those soldiers at the academy hadn't told us about Duchess Irene's true whereabouts."

Bryan nodded and replied, "That's right."

William returned the hug happily and nodding, he replied,

"That will be good, too."

He paused for a moment then said,

"You know, I got this idea just today but wouldn't it be nice to have a farm of our own?"

Lycoris said,

"Maybe we should just say it and hopefully the chancellor could forgive us? He's not a bad man."

Avi replied,

"I don't know. What if Duchess Irene escapes and the chancellor thinks we had something to do with it?"

Megan cheered and replied, "I'd love that.  Our own farm and we could have lots and lots of animals to take care of."

Stacey replied, "That would be wonderful.  It'd be a lot of work taking care of our own farm but it'd be wonderful at the same time."

Bryan replied, "I'm with Avi on this.  Even though we wouldn't have had anything to do with Duchess Irene's escape, the chancellor could somehow place the blame on us."

Alex turned to Rosaline and Nerine, wanting to know their opinions.

William nodded happily and replied,

"That's what I think too. I love animals and although it would be hard work, it's very fun. It's a far idea though."

Rosaline nodded and replied,

"Yeah, me too. He seems pissed off already and he hadn't even know anything yet."

Nerine shrugged and replied quietly,

"Whatever you see guys. You know better, I guess."

Stacey nodded and replied, "True but a wonderful one.  We'll save up and once we have enough money and resources, we can start our own farm.  I can ask uncle to help us out as well."

Alex replied, "I see.  I don't know what's best.  If the discovery is made, perhaps we should wait to see how the chancellor reacts and determine what to do from there?"

Bryan nodded and replied, "That might be the best option for now."

William turned to Stacey and replied,

"With advice and such only, of course. We could need that when starting our own farm but I am sure I can work hard enough for all of us and hey, that promotion I got recently will be a great help."

Avi nodded and replied, "I suppose. Let's hope those soldiers saw nothing and that hopefully will get the sights off us."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Definitely.  So someday, we'll have a farm out in the country rather than a house in town?"

Megan replied, "I like a farm better.  We can have pegasuses and lots of animals."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Me, too."

Alex then said, "Well, in the meantime, let's go about the rest of our day.  How about the music room?  I want to hear my darling play the violin."

He looked happily at Nerine.

William nodded in total agreement and replied, "Yup, I imagine it the same. And as we work harder, our farm can grow larger."

Just then, a maid knocked on the door, carrying dinner for the family. William got up and opened the door for her, letting her in and helping her lay down the food. Then she bowed and left.

Nerine didn't really return the happy looks to Alex but gave him a tiny smile, and Avi nodded, replying,

"Sure. I know the way to the music room. Let's go, everybody."

He helped Lycoris to her feet and led the way out of the room to the music room.

After the maid left, Stacey and Megan took seats and Stacey commented,

"This looks yummy.  Let's eat before it gets cold."

Megan nodded and taking her fork, she began to eat her food.  Stacey did the same as well, enjoying the meal.

Bryan escorted Rosaline and Alex helped Nerine to her feet.  They all followed Avi as they left the room and headed towards the music room to enjoy an afternoon of music.

William began eating his meal as well, enjoying the delicious food and wonderful company. It was quiet and peaceful which made a perfect atmosphere for a family dinner.

The party soon arrived at the music room, which was grand and full of different musical instruments, as well as seats for a possible audience. Avi helped Lycoris sit down and sat down beside her, then said,

"So who is going to play us a piece first?"

As the family ate, Stacey turned to Megan and asked, "Do you miss eating with the other children sometimes?"

Megan nodded and replied, "Sometimes but now I get to eat with William all the time so I'm very happy."

Bryan replied, "I'll go play a piece first, if that's ok with you, Nerine?"

He looked to Nerine for a reply.

William smiled to Megan and replied, "I feel happy eating with you, too, Megan. But look, we're returning to Lessire soon so I'll take you to the orphanage sometime and you can meet up with all of your friends again."

Nerine smiled to Bryan and nodding, she replied, "Yeah, sure, go ahead."

Rosaline sat down happily as well, looking forward to hear Bryan play.

Megan smiled and replied, "I'd like that, William.  Thanks."

Stacey added, "And I'll drop by the orphanage from time to time so I'll take you with me as well and we can visit everyone."

Bryan approached a grand piano and after taking a seat, he took a deep breath and then positioned his fingers over the piano keys.  He then began to play a fast happy piece, his fingers moving expertly over the piano keys.

Alex watched Bryan play and a smile was on his face as he enjoyed listening to Bryan's piece.

William nodded and replied, "That sounds good, pretty. You should stay in touch with your friends, Megan, and I am sure they miss you as well."

Rosaline listened happily to Bryan as well, as did Avi and Lycoris, who had a happy smile on both of their faces. Nerine's expression didn't change much although she did like the piece, but even the piece's happiness couldn't cheer her up.

Megan nodded and replied, "I miss them, too, but I like living with you and Stacey a lot."

Stacey smiled softly and replied, "And we like having you, too.  It feels wonderful to be a family."

As Bryan continued to play, Alex observed Nerine and noticed that her expression didn't change.  As he didn't want to interrupt Bryan's playing the piano, Alex reached out to gently squeeze Nerine's hand as a way to silently let her know that he loved her and was worried about her.

William nodded happily and replied, "That's exactly how I feel. All I ever wanted was to have such a lovely, warm family and now my dream came true, having a pretty wife and a wonderful daughter."

Nerine felt Alex squeezing her hand and she turned to him for a moment, but her sad expression didn't change and she turned away from him again, preferring to focus on Bryan's music although it was difficult to, as her thoughts were always elsewhere.

Stacey and Megan blushed happily and they smiled lovingly at William.  Stacey replied,

"And my dream came true, too.  I never thought I'd meet the most wonderful man and be married and have a lovely daughter."

Megan added, "And I have the best mommy and daddy in the world."

After Nerine turned away from Alex, Alex sighed to himself and figured that he would need to have another talk with Nerine later.  He hoped that things would settle down so that he could focus on the two of them.

Meanwhile, Bryan finally finished playing his piece and then stood up, bowing to the others.
