Bryan shook his head and replied, "But it's not your fault, my love. Maybe William sees it that way but I don't. No one can control how their heart feels. I never thought that in my life, I'd ever fall in love but then I met you and somehow, something inside told me that you were the one for me. I wonder if that's how William is feeling, too, or if his actions are more obsessive than anything else."

Rosaline replied, "Maybe, my love, but in some way...William is right. I shouldn't have promised him something I can't promise him with. I shouldn't have kept his hopes alive and then forget all about it. I feel sorry for him and regretting myself."

Bryan held Rosaline in his arms and softly replied, "Hey, don't blame yourself, ok? Sometimes things happen and we can't change them, no matter how much we may try.

Tell you what-how about we take our mind off of this for a while, at least until Ryan gets back?"

After Ryan had escorted Stacey out of the inn, he headed towards the magic shop district. He planned on talking to the owners and hoped that someone would report seeing William. He wanted to know what he was planning exactly.

Rosaline simply nodded but didn't say anything in reply. Her mind couldn't be taken off the subject and she wanted to find a solution for it, no matter what. She had some sort of plan but wasn't so sure of its success.

(Ahh would it be ok if you took the role of some of the magic shop owners? XD)

Meanwhile, Ryan entered a shop in the magic district and saw that there were a few people although it wasn't too crowded. He looked around for the owner, for he had a few questions to ask him as to William's whereabouts.

(Sure. xD)

The shop's owner saw Ryan and heading to him, he smiled to welcome him and said,

"Welcome to our magic shop. Is there any way I can help you with?"

(Thanks. XD)

Ryan returned the smile and replied, "Hello, sir. I hope that you may be able to help me. I have a few questions."

He then went on to ask whether the owner had seen someone matching William's description enter the shop recently and more importantly, whether he had bought anything from there.

The owner put his hand under his chin in a thoughtful mode and but then shook his head and replied,

"I'm afraid not, sir. Nobody with this description has entered my shop, I fear."

Ryan looked a little disappointed but then with a smile on his face, he replied, "Thank you, sir. I wonder-do you sell any green bottled potions here?"

He remembered what Stacey had told them what she had seen William holding and wanted to know what it was.

The owner nodded and replied, "Yes, sir, but they all have different effects. Are you looking for a certain potion? I could help you, sir."

Ryan replied, "I'm afraid that I don't know the specific name of the potion but I have a feeling that it has some bad effects. Would you know of any such potion like that?"

He tried to describe to the owner the potion as Stacey had told them although really, she hadn't told them much.

The owner of the shop looked thoughtful, trying to remember a green potion that could have a harmful effect. He then remembered something and replied,

"I think I know of two green potions that may have unpleasant effects. The first one can take control over one's mind, but for a very short period and then the effect wears off. The other one can switch two memories inside a person's mind, causing a fuss inside."

Ryan nodded and took in the information that the owner gave him. If he wasn't worried before, he was truly worried now. He wondered if William was planning on manipulating Rosaline's memories somehow. He then said,

"Thank you, sir. I have just one more question. In case the victim gets affected by either potion, is there any cure or treatment to reverse the effects?"

The owner replied, "In the case of the first case, the effect wears off automatically after some time and the victim returns as normal. In the case of the second, there is some rare potion that can cure it but it's very hard to find. But it was also said that a strong bond can return memories as they should be."

Ryan replied, "I see. So in the case of the second potion, if the bond between two lovers is strong enough, would that be able to dispel the effects of that potion?"

The owner nodded and replied, "It can but it has to be a very strong bond to work. The potion itself is powerful but if there is a strong bond that is stronger than it, it won't stand against it."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I see, sir. The cure is rare, you say, so I take it that you don't have it here? Do you know where I may be able to find it? I'm concerned that someone I care for may be in grave danger and I want to do everything that I can to help her, even if it means risking my life for hers."

The owner replied, "It doesn't exist in Lessire, as I know, but I believe there might be a chance of finding it in a distant town called Faraday that is near the north mountains. But it's very hard to reach that town."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Thank you very much, sir. You've helped a lot more than you."

He smiled and bid the owner farewell and then began to leave the shop, heading back towards the inn.

Back at the inn, Rosaline was still with Bryan, waiting for Ryan's return. She hoped that he had found out something to help them take action instead of hiding.

Ryan quickly returned to the inn and ran upstairs to Rosaline's and Bryan's room. He knocked on the door and Bryan got up to answer it. Seeing that it was Ryan, Bryan moved aside for Ryan to enter.

Once inside, Ryan took a seat and said, "I found out some important information."

He then proceeded to tell the others what the shop owner had told him about the possibility of the potion that William had being one of two different ones.

Rosaline was surprised by what Ryan has found out. She replied, "Oh gosh. This sounds bad. But which one could it be? It sounds to me that the first one is easier to deal with but I don't think William will go so easy."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I agree. Knowing William, or at least what we know about him, he'll be more likely to have taken the latter potion. I'll see if I can find this potion, knowing that it's not easy to reach the place where it is. But you know, I think that the bond you two have is very strong and nothing can destroy it."

Bryan wrapped his arms protectively around Rosaline and replied, "That's right. Our love is the strongest ever. No one and nothing can ever change how we feel for each other."

However, Rosaline was some sort of angry. She was furious over what was William having in mind but trying to control herself. She replied,

"There's no need to search for anything, Ryan. I won't allow William to use his cheap trick on me. I'll find a way to make an end for his plans myself."

Ryan, as well as Bryan, looked surprised at how suddenly angry Rosaline became although neither could blame her. After all, William was endangering those around him just so he could have Rosaline all to himself. Tentatively, Ryan asked,

"What are you planning to do?"
