Romance RP

Anjela nodded slowly and relaxed, more than ready to let sleep overtake her. However, before she would succumb to her fatigue, she reached out to hold Matthew's hand and murmured,

"Hey, will you stay with me, hold me in your arms? I still need you, Matt."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, of course.  I'm not leaving you ever."

He laid down on the bed next to Anjela and wrapped his arms around her, letting his warmth envelop her.

Anjela relaxed more as Matthew surrounded her with his arms and she cuddled softly close to him. Her eyes closed but not asleep yet, she quietly murmured,

"I would have been long dead if you didn't show up in time. Thank you for saving me again."

Matthew replied, "I'll always save you, Anjela.  There's no way I would have let you die.  Try to get some sleep now.  We can talk more tomorrow."

He gently kissed Anjela's forehead, his gestures all gentle and kind.

Anjela smiled a bit and took a deep breath, then her facial expression relaxed as she finally succumbed to her tiredness and let sleep overtake her, feeling warm and safe now that she was in Matthew's arms, away from danger.

As soon as Anjela fell asleep, Matthew, too, succumbed to sleep.  His body felt weak after having healed Anjela's wound and he needed the rest badly.  He gave Anjela one soft smile and then closed his eyes, letting his body rest.

(I guess we should start the next day?  XD)

(Yup, that sounds good. XD I'll start on Matthew and Anjela. XD)

The next morning, Anjela started coming to as the sunrays made their way through the window. Her wound was feeling a little sore but other than that, she felt better, having gotten some much needed rest.

She gazed at Matthew's sleeping form and smiled lovingly at him. She lovingly whispered, "You're my guardian angel, you know, always looking out for me. I love you so much, Matt."

(Ok, I'll get Ryan and Lisianthus.  XD)

Even though Matthew was still asleep, it was as though he could hear Anjela's words and he softly murmured, "I love you, my Anjela.  I'll always save you."

The next morning, Ryan woke up a little after the sun rose and he gazed happily at Lisianthus.  They'd had a wonderful evening and he was looking forward to some more training today and then spending the rest of the day with Lisianthus.

Anjela smiled softly as she heard Matthew's words and she reached out to stroke his cheek tenderly. Although she definitely felt better than last night, her body was still aching somehow and she felt in no rush to get up, so she just gazed at Matthew as he slept peacefully.

A little after Ryan woke up, Lisianthus woke up as well and opened her eyes. She gazed happily at him and said,

"Morning, my Ryan."

A little bit later, Matthew woke up and he gazed happily at Anjela, who had woken up.  He smiled at her and said,

"Good morning, my Anjela.  How are you feeling?"

Ryan smiled back at Lisianthus and replied, "Good morning, my Sia.  Sleep well?"

Anjela smiled back at Matthew and softly replied,

"Good morning, my Matt. I'm better. The wound is feeling a bit sore but that's natural, I think. You healed it well. Thanks again, Matt. I don't know what I would have done without you."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "I sure did. What about you, cutie? Did my arms lull you to a happy, peaceful slumber?"

Matthew smiled and replied, "It's a good thing I was able to find you.  I was worried that I'd be too late.  You must try to get lots of rest today, ok?  No going out at all, no matter what."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, they sure did, beautiful.  I'm ready to start off another wonderful day with you."

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows and shaking her head, she replied,

"It's okay. I am fine. I can't rest yet, especially not after what happened. I need to find out who the people who attacked me are-is it the queen or who. Don't worry about me; I am fine."

Lisianthus grinned and replied, "Same here, cutie. We'll have another wonderful day together."

She sat up in bed and stretching her arms, she said, "The weather feels so nice today."

Matthew looked at Anjela with worry and replied, "But you lost so much blood yesterday and if I hadn't gotten to you in time, who knows what could have happened?  You need to recover.  What if I can't save you next time?"

Ryan sat up as well and nodding happily, he replied, "Yup, it sure is.  I can't wait to spend this beautiful day with you."

Anjela was silent for a moment, and smiling a bit at Matthew tentatively, she quietly said,

"Well, that is bound to happen, isn't it? There is one time you won't be able to save me. We are just delaying that as long as possible. But I can't rest, Matt. It's okay. I know how to push myself."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Do you want to get ready first, cutie? I can wait for you."

Matthew frowned a bit and replied, "Well, if you won't rest, then I'll have to go with you.  If anyone thinks of attacking you, they'll hesitate if they see you're not alone.  And you know I know how to fight."

He really wanted Anjela to rest but as it seemed that she wouldn't relent on this issue, he was going to push to accompany her.

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I'll be quick."

He gave Lisianthus a quick kiss on the lips and after getting out of bed and a change of clothes, he went into the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"Hey, that's not an option. I thought we agreed that you are not to place yourself in any danger, even if it's to protect me or save my life. I can't take you along."

Meanwhile, Lisianthus got out of bed and after stretching, she went to the closet and fetched herself a change of clothes. She was looking forward to another good day, and to hear whatever updates she needed to hear.

Matthew replied, "If you're not going to rest and take care of yourself, then I'm coming with you.  Unless you can guarantee me that whoever attacked you won't do so again."

Ryan quickly finished his shower and changed into a dark green shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans.  Then he combed his hair and once he looked presentable, he left the bathroom and approaching Lisianthus, he said,

"I'm all done. Bathroom's free."

Anjela continued furrowing her eyebrows and she replied, "Well, of course I can't guarantee that, not when I don't even know who that is, but no, Matt. There's no way I am going to let you..."

She trailed off as she groaned slightly in pain and clutched to her wound, as though her body was reminding her that she was still weak.

Lisianthus smiled happily at Ryan and said, "You look fantastic, cutie. Pretty handsome."

She winked at him then said, "I'll get ready too then we can have a delicious breakfast together."

She kissed him on the cheek then entered the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Matthew sighed and replied, "Anjela, it'll be safer if we're together.  Please, I can't stay behind while you put yourself in danger.  At least, let me accompany you until we figure out who's trying to attack you and why."

After Lisianthus went into the bathroom, Ryan put away his pajamas and then tidied up the bed a bit.  He then took a seat and waited for Lisianthus so they would go downstairs and have breakfast together.

Anjela took a few breaths and after a moment of silence, she sighed and quietly replied,

"Fine. Just until we figure it out and it's out of the way. But in case of any danger or life-threatening situations, you need to back off. Okay? Your life comes before mine. I could never forgive myself if anything happened to you because of me."

Lisianthus took a quick shower then changed into a beautiful blue dress, elegantly dotted in white and reaching just below her knees. She then brushed her hair, letting it flow down her shoulders beautifully.

Once done, she went out of the bathroom and put away her nightgown, happily saying, "All done!"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok, you have my word."

He smiled in relief as Anjela agreed to that concession.  He then said,

"Now how about I make us some breakfast?  You just rest here in bed and I'll bring it over to you."

Ryan grinned as he saw Lisianthus and wrapping his arms around her waist, he spun her around and said,

"You look gorgeous as always.  You put the sun to shame."

Anjela smiled softly and nodding, she said,

"Okay, that sounds very tempting. I'll let you spoil me for this bit, if you don't mind it."

Lisianthus laughed happily as Ryan spun her around and grinning back at him, she happily said,

"I need to look my best to be suited for the best, my Ryan. We make such an attractive couple, don't we?"

She wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed at him fondly.

Matthew chuckled and replied, "I don't mind spoiling the love of my life.  Now what would you like to have for breakfast?  Are you in the mood for anything in particular?  We can have the cake I bought yesterday and maybe have coffee or juice?  Or if you want something else, that's fine with me, too."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, we sure do.  We put all other couples to shame."

He winked at her and leaned in to give Lisianthus a sweet kiss on the lips.

Anjela nodded and replied,

"The cake sounds good to me and maybe coffee? The cake was quite delicious and a cup of coffee is great to start the day and give a boost of energy."

Lisianthus happily returned the kiss, pouring all her love and emotions into it, sweetly giving Ryan a wonderful kiss to start off the day. After the kiss was eventually over, she gazed lovingly at him and said,

"Heh, I am the luckiest woman ever to have you, cutie."
