Romance RP

(Hey, at least you are persistent. I know for sure that if I encountered such a hard level on a game I could probably give it up. XD Well, unless I really like it or something but my patience tends to run out easily. XD)

The shapeshifter smiled a bit and replied, "Heh, I don't blame you. You mostly had to deal with humans for most of your life and then you find yourself surrounded by gods and devils all over. Well, unless you move somewhere else, I think we'll ones of the very few you meet in life."

Lisianthus pouted and replied, "Oh ok. I am coming."

She looked at Trent and happily said, "I'll see you again?"

Trent smiled warmly at her and said, "Definitely, Your Majesty."

Lisianthus grinned then looking at Ryan, she said, "Okay, lead the way back."

Nathan shook his head and replied, "Not exactly. He handed her over to the queen eventually and she ran away from the latter. At least that's what he told me. Apparently, they both didn't want her to sacrifice her powers and were trying to prevent her from doing so."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "That's a solid plan. You are a genius, Alex. This way, we're prepared both ways. And I have confidence we're both strong enough to bring him down."

(Ehh, true.  I wish I could just go to an easier level but all the ones I have left are hard.  :/)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true.  Hey, I'm curious but how does it feel to be in a world where there are mostly humans?"

Ryan happily offered Lisianthus his arm and then led the way back to where Duchess Irene was.  Thinking quickly of something, he communicated to Duchess Irene,

Umm, we're coming back, my lady.  I had to make an excuse to get Sia away from one of the soldiers.  Apparently, she told him of her amnesia.  I think we really need to discourage her from saying such things.

Helena replied, "So they were restricting her freedom?  Isn't that even worse?"

Alex smiled and replied, "Yup, that's right.  We should share what knowledge and skills we have and then figure out how best to put them to use."

(Yeah, I understand. ^^)

The shapeshifter replied, "A bit strange as I've never been to the human world before but you're good people. Well, at least in your town. And I honestly believed that humans are weak creatures before but you proved me wrong."

Irene received Ryan's message and furrowing her eyebrows, she said,

This is bad. Word could spread this way. I have to find out which soldier she talked to and I should talk to him. But yes, bring her back and we'll talk to her about this.

Nathan shrugged and replied, "That's what he told me but he said it was for her protection. If Lycoris sacrificed her powers to the devils' world, she dies and they didn't want that."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yes. You know, this isn't too bad. It's like an adventure? And it's both of us together on it."

(Well, I stopped gaming for the night.  I was just feeling too discouraged to continue and I haven't made progress for 2 days.  It's kind of frustrating.  :/)

Matthew grinned and replied, "Heh, I'm glad to hear that."

The two of them continued to walk through the halls of the conservatory and they went to the upper floor, where there were more classrooms as well as more empty room with various instruments and such.

Ryan replied,

I'm doing so now, and the soldier Sia talked to was called Trent.  


He continued to escort Lisianthus until they were back with Duchess Irene.

Helena replied, "Wait.  Ok, so Duke Collins knew that Lycoris sacrificing her powers would most likely mean her death and yet he allowed you to find her so you could take her powers?  I don't get it."

Alex smiled and replied, "Yes, that's true and I'll do anything and everything in my power to protect you always, my Lycoris.  No one shall ever harm us."

(I'm sleepy so I should go to bed for the night.  I'll post tomorrow before I go out for work.  Nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter followed Matthew as he continued to show her around the conservatory. As they did, she couldn't help but comment, "Heh, it might have been nice if I were to actually enroll here although I am not sure how people here would feel about having a devil with them. Or maybe I could pose as a human. No one sees my ears anyways."

As the couple made it back to her, Irene smiled a bit at them and, pretending that Ryan hadn't communicated with her, she said, 

"Oh here you are. We were worried about you, Lisianthus."

Lisianthus smiled a bit and said, "Oh yeah, sorry about that. I am alright. What you said took me by surprise but I am okay now."

Nathan scratched the back of his head and turning his gaze away, he quietly replied, "Uhh well, yeah, about that. I kind of had him fooled that I would use Lycoris' powers in a way that wouldn't kill her but would bring Ilya back. He was foolish enough to believe it or perhaps desperate to have me find her so he would have her for himself later."

Lycoris reached out to hold Alex's hand lovingly close to her heart and softly replied, 

"And I'll protect you with every fiber of my being, Alex. I'll fight so we can have our happy ending together. I love you so much and I'll hold on to you until my last breath."

Matthew replied, "No one would care if you're a devil.  As long as you have the talent and potential, you'd most likely get in.  That's how Bryan got in.  Sure, his parents were musical talents, too, but he got in here through hard work."

Ryan replied, "We're glad you're ok, Sia.  How about we all sit down and get reacquainted?"

Helena raised an eyebrow and replied, "I see.  Yeah, he really isn't very bright.  I mean, I don't know much about the situation but even I would have stopped to wonder."

Alex gently squeezed Lycoris' hand and nodding, he replied, "Me, too, my angel.  I'll protect you for all time and love you forever."

Matthew replied, "So we're kind of the same in that way.  We both play music as a hobby."

Ryan replied, "Yes, it must quite the shock.  We should try to take things slowly, ok?"

Helena nodded and replied, "I see.  Well, at least he'll be off on his own now and he can leave us in peace.  That man will never find a woman who'll love him, not with that attitude."

Alex wrapped his arms lovingly around Lycoris and replied, "And I love holding you like this.  Your presence makes me so happy."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "I guess so."

The couple continued their tour around the conservatory until there was no more to see. The shapeshifter said, "Well, seems like we're done here. That was nice."

Lisianthus nodded and Irene said, "Maybe we should go inside and we can give you a tour of the castle. Perhaps walking around your home triggers more memories?"

Lisianthus didn't look too enthusiastic about the idea and replied, "Umm I don't know. It seems like this place just triggers the bad ones."

Nathan chuckled a bit at Helena's comment and said, "I told him that before. You'd be surprised but he's actually popular with the ladies. I think it's just because he's a duke though and some ladies are interested in him just for the title. I doubt any liked him for who he is."

Lycoris smiled happily and replied, "Do I, Alex? Do you really feel happy just when you are with me? Despite all the danger, all the trouble you go through?"

Matthew smiled and replied, "It sure was and I hope you can hear Bryan play sometime.  You'd really love his music."

He paused and said, "I have an idea of where to go next but I want to be a bit of a surprise.  Is that ok?"

Ryan replied, "Hey, we understand.  How about we take it slow and if it gets to be too much, you just tell us and we'll stop?"

Helena nodded and replied, "I see.  Yeah, it has surprised that he hasn't gotten married or at least have a girlfriend.  And now to pick Lycoris of all people.  He really is just asking for trouble."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "I do, my Lycoris  I am so incredibly happy just being with you, regardless of our safety.  Together, I feel like we can do anything."

(If my posts have been short, I apologize for that.  I'm feeling a bit sick today although at the moment, it seems ok.)

(Aww I understand. It's ok. If you want to take a break for today, it's totally alright. Take all the rest you need.  )

The shapeshifter wondered where Matthew wanted to take her that would be a surprise but nodding, she said, "Well, alright, as long as it's a good surprise. Lead the way."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Okay, I guess. Umm as long as you won't ask me to do any queen stuff. I still can't comprehend that idea."

Nathan nodded and replied, "Had he gone after her before her sister died, things might have been different. But with the state she's at right now, he's terribly unlucky. I have no idea how she'll react to him but I can't imagine it to be pleasant."

Lycoris blushed and hugging Alex happily, she said, "And I can do anything when I am with you, my Alex. I love you so incredibly much. You're my whole life, my whole world."

(Thanks.  I'll see how it goes.  If it gets really bad, I'll let you know but for now, I'm going to try to take it easy.  ^^)

Matthew smiled and led the way back outside.  He was heading to a shop that sold musical instruments, as he planned to buy a nice violin for the shapeshifter.

Ryan couldn't help but smile and reply, "I think Duchess Irene has those duties handled for now."

Helena replied, "Same here.  Well, I guess we won't have to deal with him anymore.  At least I hope so."

*************

Alex happily replied, "And I love you so incredibly much.  I just want to spend the rest of my life with you, my angel."

(Okay. I hope you feel better soon.  )

The shapeshifter followed Matthew outside, wondering where he was taking her. She was pretty curious but she decided to wait as she would know quite soon.

Irene nodded and replied, "That's right. Thankfully, nothing required your personal attention so far."

Lisianthus looked a bit relieved and replied, "Okay. If that's the case...I guess we can take a walk around. I mean, I do want to remember although I have a feeling this place will only remind me of bad things."

Nathan replied, "Not anytime soon hopefully although I can't expect this is the end of trouble. Luke will buy us time at most. I don't think Lycoris will simply forget about us."

*************

Lycoris smiled happily and replied, "I-I want that too. If I just have you, then I have the whole world. I-I never imagined this could ever come true. For me to be so close to you and to dream of a future with you..."

She blushed shyly, as it was like imagining to be in paradise.

(Thanks.  I guess I'll just check in and try to take it easy.  My body's really acting up today.  :/)

Matthew continued to walk towards the shop and soon, the two of them arrived.  He smiled and said,

"This is a nice place that sells instruments.  I was thinking of this place since we just went to the conservatory."

Ryan replied, "Well, there may be some bad memories but there are also plenty of good ones.  I mean, I remember all the happy times we spent here."

Helena replied, "That's true.  In the meantime, we should look after your soldiers and perhaps get more information about what happened.  Maybe see if there's a way to counteract Lycoris' spells?"

Alex blushed, too, and replied, "My angel.  I just love being with you, no matter where we are.  I'd go through anything for you."

(Yup, take it easy as much as possible. It might be the stress and all taking its toll. I hope you're alright soon.  )

The shapeshifter furrowed her eyebrows and after a moment of silence, she said, 

"What instrument do you want to buy? Are you going to pick up another instrument beside the piano?"

It didn't cross her mind that Matthew wanted to get her a violin.

Lisianthus couldn't help but smile a bit and replied, "Well, umm, how about we start with those then?"

Nathan nodded and looking over at the soldiers who were still under Lycoris' trance, he said, 

"Yes, I should examine them myself and see if there is anything I can do. That's pretty powerful dark magic she has them under."

He walked over to the soldiers, who were completely sucked into another world and it wasn't a pleasant one.

Lycoris smiled lovingly and then shyly asked, "Umm can-can I kiss you? I just want to show you how much I love you so very much."

Matthew smiled and replied, "Oh, you'll see."

A salesclerk approached the two and he asked, "May I help you?"

Matthew replied, "Yes, sir.  I want to get a violin for my friend here, and the very best one you have."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Ok, then.  Let's walk for a bit and perhaps Duchess Irene can help jog your memory."

Helena followed Nathan and she, too, looked at the soldiers.  She muttered, "I've never heard of any magic that could do this to someone.  It's so awful."

Alex chuckled and replied, "Yes, of course, my angel.  I would be so very happy to have you kiss me."

(Sorry I couldn't post again earlier. I was alone at the pharmacy and it got a little busy during the afternoon. XD)

The shapeshifter was surprised as she heard Matthew tell of his request to the salesclerk and immediately turning to him, she said, 

"Wait, what? Hang on, I didn't ask for this. What are you doing?"

Lisianthus nodded tentatively and smiling, Irene said, "That's right. We can start by a general tour of the castle and we'll see if that can refresh your mind. Ryan can take care of reminding you of the good memories you two share."

She got up as did Lisianthus and they waited for Ryan so they could start their tour.

Nathan furrowed his eyebrows and replied, "It's ugly. Even I wouldn't have thought of trying such a thing. It's more surprising that the naive, helpless girl I was after would be the one behind this. Sure, she has powers but she never used them and in this way."

*****************

Lycoris smiled happily and reached out carefully to cup Alex's cheeks gently, then leaned in for a soft, most loving kiss on the lips.

(It's ok.  I was still feeling not well so yeah.  ^^)

Matthew turned to the shapeshifter and replied, "I know but this is my gift to you."

He turned to the salesclerk and said, "Please show us the best violins you have."

The salesclerk nodded and replied, "Please follow me."

Ryan got up as well and offering his arm to Lisianthus, he said, "If I may escort my beautiful."

Helena replied, "Maybe she was never aware of the extent of her powers before this happened.  I can't imagine Lycoris doing this maliciously."

Alex happily returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around Lycoris' waist and pouring all of his love and passion into it.

(I hope you are feeling better today. ^^)

The shapeshifter furrowed her eyebrows and still addressing Matthew, she quietly said so the salesclerk wouldn't hear, 

"Just wait. I didn't ask for any gifts. If this is because I said I lost my violin, I wasn't saying that to ask you to get me another one. You definitely don't have to do this."

Lisianthus nodded happily and held Ryan's arm as the party headed inside the castle. Irene led the way although she decided to let Ryan do the talking, as Lisianthus was currently more familiar with him.

Nathan furrowed his eyebrows and replied, "So she didn't mean for things to go this way? I doubt. No one casts such spells accidentally. Well, perhaps her powers are acting up but I doubt she regrets what happened to these soldiers in any way."

Lycoris kissed Alex happily for a few moments, pouring all her love into the kiss, when the kiss was suddenly interrupted. Her eyes glowed a powerful purple and she spaced out, a frightened look over her face.

Matthew quietly replied, "I know.  But I want to give you a gift and hey, you'll get to play a violin again and I can't wait to hear you play."

He winked at the shapeshifter and followed the salesclerk to a nice selection of violins.

As the group explored the castle, Ryan said,

"Hmm, where should we start?  How about just the general rooms like the dining room?  Sound good?"

Helena replied, "If she felt threatened, perhaps she instinctively reacted to that?  I'm not saying what she did was right and these poor men.  But if someone were to attack me, I'd do everything in my power to defend myself."

Alex saw the look in Lycoris' eyes and hugging her, he said,

"Lycoris, hey, wake up, it's me."

The shapeshifter groaned to herself, frustrated with how stubborn Matthew was although inwardly, she felt touched that he would want to get her such a gift. She sighed to herself and just followed him after the salesclerk.

Lisianthus looked thoughtful and said, "Well, what about the places where we shared good times? I should remember faster this way, right?"

Nathan sighed and replied, "Well, maybe. I still need to figure out how to counteract these spells and I need to make sure there are more protections around here."

*************

Lycoris was unresponsive for a few moments, before she frowned her eyebrows and tearfully murmured, "Get out of my head. Stop. Stop saying such things, stop."

Matthew looked with the salesclerk as the latter described the various violins they had for sale.  Matthew pointed to a beautiful violin with a dark mahogany bark and said,

"This one looks wonderful."

The salesclerk smiled and replied, "Excellent choice, sir.  The person who plays it will only have the most beautiful musical sounds produced from it."

Ryan replied, "That's true.  Well, then how about your room for starters?  We've had lots of wonderful memories there."

Helena replied, "Yes, I understand.  We should talk to the healer and find out more."

Alex continued to hold Lycoris in his arms and he replied,

"Lycoris, I love you, I always love you and I will never leave you."

The shapeshifter observed the violin Matthew had picked out and she liked it very much too, although she didn't say anything. Rather, she remained quiet, letting Matthew take care of the whole process, feeling touched but still frustrated that he went through it anyhow. Well, he beat her twice that day and that was the first in a while for her.

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Okay, sounds good. I'll be curious to see what my own room looks like."

Nathan nodded and offering his arm to Helena, he said, "Let's go find the healer. He's usually in his office in the infirmary here when he isn't attending to patients."

Lycoris instinctively held on tighter to Alex although she was still in her own world. She tearfully murmured,

"They say they'll make me forget my love for you. They'll take my love for you away..."

(Sorry for not posting earlier.  Our Internet here has been acting up for almost all this afternoon and it only came back just now.  :/)

Matthew wanted to ask the shapeshifter for her opinion but knowing that she would most likely still refuse a gift, he just said,

"Ok, then I'll take it."

The salesclerk smiled and replied, "Excellent, sir.  Please follow me and we'll have this violin all ready."

The salesclerk took the violin and carefully put it in a hardcover case along with its bow and some rosin.  Then he and Matthew went to the cashier to take care of the payment.

Ryan smiled and replied, "Ok, let's go."

He led the way upstairs and towards Lisianthus' room, hoping that it would help her remember some happy memories.

Helena nodded and after holding onto Nathan's arm, she followed him as they headed to where the healer was, so they could find out more about what was going on.

*****************

Alex replied, "Who?  Who's going to that?  I know you, Lycoris.  You'll never forget and I'll never forget you.  I'll love you forever.  No one and nothing can tear us apart."

(Aww it's ok. I honestly thought you had a class today? XD)

The shapeshifter stood aside as Matthew took care of paying for the violin and although she wanted to persuade him not to buy it, she didn't want to argue in front of the salesclerk or be rude. 

Lisianthus and Irene followed Ryan as he led the way to Lisianthus' room and there, the party made their way to inside. Lisianthus looked around curiously and as it was a pretty luxurious and splendid room, she said, 

"Wow, this is my room?"

The couple made it to the healer's office, and the healer stood up respectfully to Nathan and bowed to him. Nathan nodded to him and then helped Helena into a seat before taking one himself. He addressed the healer and said, 

"Have you checked on the soldiers, sir?"

The healer nodded sadly and said, "Yes, sir. The ones who are physically injured are somewhat stable so far, but the ones that are magically entrapped-I haven't found a way to free them yet. I tried a few spells but none of them seemed to work. The magic they're under is very powerful."

Lycoris held on even tighter to Alex but she didn't respond anymore although her magic seemed to act up again, dark magic surrounding her body once more. She only whispered, "Go away, go away, stop, stop."
