Romance RP

(Ahh ok.  See you tomorrow, Love.  ^^)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, we should do that now."

He thanked the head chef and then escorted Lycoris out of the kitchen so that they could let the others know that dinner was almost ready.

Outside in the living room, Lady Penelope was sitting by herself, as she had seen her daughter earlier and then came down again, and the chancellor was still in the library upstairs. As she saw Lycoris and Matthew come closer, she smiled happily to them and said,

"Ahh here you are, my dears. Where have you been? How did you spend the rest of the afternoon?"

Matthew helped Lycoris sit down and as he sat down beside her, he happily replied,

"We had a wonderful afternoon.  I played the piano for Lycoris earlier and then we went into the kitchen, as it's almost time for dinner, and Lycoris even got to help make some of the food for this evening's meal.  How are you, my lady?  How is your daughter?"

Lady Penelope replied happily,

"She is fine. I visited her earlier and she'll come down for dinner when it's time. But I am happy you had a wonderful afternoon. You sound like you had a lot of fun."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Truly, yes. Matthew's music was beautiful to listen to and the cooking part was the best."

(Ahh I'll be heading to college in a bit and I probably won't be back until late today and all. I'll post when I come back, though, and I'll be here tomorrow as usual. See you then, phoenix. ^^)

(Ahh ok.  ^^)

Matthew smiled softly and added, "Lycoris had a lot of fun getting to learn to make the foods that we're going to eat.  The chefs are finishing up so we wanted to let everyone know that dinner is almost ready."

Lady Penelope replied happily, "Ahh that's great. I was starting to feel a little hungry so this is just on time. I should let my daughter know but will you send a maid to let the chancellor know? He's still in the library, I think and your dad might be there as well."

Matthew replied, "Actually, we can go get the chancellor and Dad.  Why don't we all meet in the dining room?"

(I have work this afternoon and I won't be back until late tonight so just wanted to let you know.  XD)

(I understand. Take your time. ^^)

Lady Penelope smiled and nodding, she said, "Okay then. I'll head upstairs to let my daughter know then and ahh, there's also Alex and Nerine. Should I pass by them as well and ask them if they would like to eat with us? We haven't seen them at all since last night."

(Thanks.  I finished work early today so that's why I'm here now.  I'll make this post and then check up on some other things but I'll be back as soon as I'm free.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, please.  It would be great to see them at dinner and I'd like to know that they're well."

(Coolies. Welcome back. ^^)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "Alright then. I'll drop by their room first then then I'll tell my daughter. See you in the dining room in a bit."

She got up and headed upstairs to Alex's and Nerine's room first.

(Thanks.  I'm not sure how much I'll be able to post but I'll do as much as I can.  ^^)

Matthew turned to Lycoris and said, "Let's go to the library.  The chancellor and Dad should be in there and we can let them know that dinner is ready."

(Ok. ^^)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok, let's go."

She got up and as Matthew did the same, she followed his lead to the library where the chancellor and Matthew's dad were.

Meanwhile, Lady Penelope made it to Alex's and Nerine's room and knocked gently on it, then said,

"Darlings, are you in there?"

Matthew and Lycoris arrived in the library and there, the chancellor and Matthew's dad were having a nice chat.  Matthew's dad noticed the couple and he happily said,

"Hello, you two.  The chancellor and I have been having a wonderful conversation."

Alex heard the knock and Lady Penelope's voice and getting up, he opened the door.  He bowed to her and said,

"Hello, my lady.  Please enter."

The chancellor noticed the couple and smiling as well, he said,

"Hey. Indeed, I had a very wonderful afternoon with your dad, sir Matthew."

Lycoris smiled softly and said, "That's great to hear. Matt and I had a lot of fun too."

Lady Penelope smiled happily to Alex and as she entered the room, she happily said,

"Hello, you two. How are you doing? We haven't seen you at all since last night."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, we sure did and I'm happy to hear that you two had an enjoyable afternoon, too."

Alex replied, "We're all right.  We wanted some time by ourselves.  I hope the others were ok with it?"

(Sorry for the late reply and I'm going to go to sleep now so yeah, I'm sorry we didn't get to post much tonight.  But I'll be back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Ahh no problem, I understand. Nite, nite, phoenix. ^^)

The chancellor smiled and nodding, he said, "Your dad is very wonderful company, sir and it turns out that we have a lot of interests in common. I am glad to have had the chance to have this conversation with him."

Lady Penelope quickly nodded and smiling, she said, "Oh of course, darling. We understand. I am glad to see you two are well. Dinner is about ready so would you like to go downstairs and have it with us?"

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "That's wonderful to hear.  Lycoris and I came by to let you both know that dinner is about ready so we're going to get everyone."

Matthew's dad replied, "That's great.  I'm getting a bit hungry so yes, we should all have dinner."

Although Alex wanted to join the others for dinner, he didn't know how Nerine would feel about that so he turned to her, looking at her for her response.

The chancellor nodded in agreement and replied,

"Same here. Let's all head downstairs and we can eat with everyone else."

He let Matthew's dad lead the way out of the library and to the dining room and they followed him.

Nerine wasn't exactly comfortable with the idea of going downstairs yet to meet with everyone else so looking apologetically at Lady Penelope, she said,

"Well, if Alex doesn't mind, I think I'll prefer if we can have it here for tonight. I don't feel like going downstairs yet but I am sure we'll eat with everyone else tomorrow."

Matthew's dad led the way out of the library and towards the dining room and once they arrived, they all took their seats.  Matthew helped Lycoris into her seat and then took a seat next to her.

Alex replied, "I understand, darling, and that's fine with me."

He looked at Lady Penelope and telepathically communicated to her,

I'm sorry, my lady.  I really do want to go down and see everyone but my darling isn't ready for that yet.

Lady Penelope looked a bit disappointed but smiling softly, she replied,

Oh I understand, darling. Well, there is still a lot of time ahead of us we can spend together. Maybe tomorrow.

Nodding, she said, "Okay then. I'll ask one of the maids to bring you dinner up here. I should go now but do you need anything before I leave?"

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Please give everyone our regards and please thank Matt for us for letting us stay here.  We've been very comfortable here."

(BTW, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry that I haven't been able to post a lot lately.  I do want to find a regular time for us to do so but real life things and all in the way.  :/)

(Aww I understand. Things haven't been better at all here either so yeah, I totally understand and it's my fault too. :/ I hope things can calm down for both of us and we can RP more soon. )

Lady Penelope smiled happily and nodding, she said,

"Will do. See you later then, darlings."

She then went out of the room and headed to her daughter's so she could tell her about dinner and they would head together to the dining room where everyone else was.

(Thanks.  Me, too.  Fortunately, at the moment, I'm free to post so I'll try to post as much as I can but if it suddenly slows down, you might be able to guess why.  Things between Folke and me are getting better.  He's been really great lately which is a surprise.  ^^    )

Meanwhile, as Matthew and the others were waiting, the chefs began to bring out everyone's meals.  Matthew's dad looked on and said,

"Oh my.  Dinner does look very delicious."

Matthew grinned and replied, "It was all Lycoris' idea."

(Coolies, I am really happy to hear that. I'll post as much as I can as well although I am multi-tasking between work and study so I might be a bit slow and all. XD)

Lycoris blushed happily and replied,

"Thanks, Matt. Dinner smells great and I am sure it will taste just as wonderful too."

Lady Penelope and the shapeshifter soon showed up, and Lady Penelope said,

"I am back and my daughter is here too. Unfortunately, Alex and Nerine will have dinner in their room. They still need some alone time and that's understandable but they send their regards to everyone and they thank you for letting them stay, Matthew, darling. They say they've been very comfortable so far."

(No worries.  XD)

Matthew nodded and replied, "I'm glad their stay has been comfortable and I can understand that they want a bit more time to themselves."

He smiled and then said, "Dinner's all laid out and it looks and smells absolutely delicious."

Matthew's dad added, "I like the theme presented tonight."
