Romance RP

Lycoris blushed and shyly replied,

"Aww now you two are embarrassing me. But I am really happy my suggestion made everyone else happy. I don't know a lot of foods but must be more that I am curious about so I might suggest them to the chefs some other time."

Olivia replied, "That would be wonderful, miss.  I look forward to the other ideas you come up."

Matthew grinned and replied, "Me, too.  Our meals surely are going to be delicious with Lycoris' suggestions."

Lycoris blushed a little deeper and replied,

"Aww thanks. But it's really the wonderful chefs' cooking that make the food so delicious. We're lucky we have them to cook for us."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Oh yes, definitely.  Our chefs make the most delicious meals."

Olivia added, "I wholeheartedly agree.  When my daughter drops by here on occasion, she always has a meal with me so she knows what their cooking is like, too."

Lycoris nodded happily and smiling, she said, "You're very lucky to have them here. They must be the best in town. I've tasted a lot of food in the gods' world but nothing tastes as delicious as their food."

Matthew replied, "Well, we definitely have some of the best.  I'd say that the best chefs work at the castle but ours are pretty high up there.  They're even better than those who work at high end restaurants and that's saying something.  They work very hard to cook the best meals for us."

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she said,

"That's true. And they are so friendly and kind too. They didn't seem to mind our presence at all in the kitchen and they were very nice."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Oh yes, they are very wonderful.  Dad makes sure to only hire the best."

Olivia added, "I'd like to head inside now and rest for a bit but when you two turn in for the night, please let me know.  I'll be happy to help Miss Lycoris prepare for bed then."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"Thank you, Olivia. Please rest well and I'll let you know when I'd like to turn in for the night. I hope it won't be too much trouble. I really appreciate everything you do for me."

Olivia replied, "You're very welcome, miss.  You are like my daughter and you're such a pleasure to be around.  I'll take my leave for now."

She curtseyed to the two of them and then headed back inside to rest up for a bit.

After Olivia left, Lycoris smiled and said,

"She is a really wonderful person. She gives me such a motherly feeling, you know? I am happy that I got to know her."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Me, too.  I felt like Olivia would be the best one to be around when I'm not here and she's wonderful company, isn't she?"

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "She definitely is."

Her headache had relatively calmed down that she could keep up the conversation without feeling too disturbed, but suddenly, a pulse of pain ran through her spine aggressively that her whole body seemed to shiver and she put her head between her hands, barely able to withstand the pain without screaming.

Matthew was alarmed as he could see the pain that Lycoris was in and immediately, he turned to the others and said as calmly as he could,

"I'm sorry but Lycoris isn't feeling well.  We'll head back inside so she can rest."

Matthew's dad asked, "Is there anything we can do?"

Lycoris took a breath and tried to calm herself down. As she heard Matthew's dad's comment, she replied softly,

"I-I'll be fine. Please-please don't panic, everyone. I-I'll just rest for a while and be better."

She squeezed Matthew's hand gently, begging him silently to take her inside.

Matthew understood the message behind Lycoris' hand squeeze and looking to the others, he said,

"We'll be fine.  Lycoris must be quite exhausted.  I'll make sure that she gets some rest and goes to sleep in a bit."

Matthew's dad nodded and replied, "All right.  We'll bid you good night then and see you tomorrow."

Matthew nodded and gently, he escorted Lycoris back inside the house and upstairs towards her room.

Lycoris followed Matthew to her room upstairs, doing her best to contain the pain and remain strong. However, the moment the couple made it into the room and were on their own, another wave of pain attacked her although this time, it was even more powerful that she couldn't stand it. Holding her head in pain, she barely whispered Matthew's name before she slowly slipped out of consciousness.

As soon as Lycoris slipped out of consciousness, Matthew immediately put Lycoris on the bed.  Then he called out for Olivia and asked her to get the shapeshifter and request that she come to Lycoris' room.  Olivia nodded and after she approached the door to the shapeshifter's room, she knocked and said,

"Miss, are you there?  The master requests that you come to Miss Lycoris' room right away.  Something has happened."

The shapeshifter was alarmed as she heard Olivia's voice and what she said. She got up immediately and after putting on her hood, she opened the door and said,

"What's the matter? What happened?"

Olivia replied, "The master said that Miss Lycoris fell unconscious but that she seemed to be in extreme pain from doing so.  He told me to come get you right away.  Will you please go to them, miss?"

The shapeshifter frowned in concern but nodding, she said, "Right away."

She went out of the room and quickly ran to Lycoris' room. She knocked the door and entered, and approaching Matthew, she asked,

"What happened to her?"

Matthew looked to the shapeshifter and then described to her what had happened to Lycoris when they were outside earlier and how Lycoris' head was in pain.  He detailed all that had happened up until they entered the room and Lycoris fell unconscious.  He sadly said,

"This is my fault.  I should have taken her back earlier and made the elixir right away."

The shapeshifter looked concerned and replied,

"What now? That other personality of her must be taking over. That's why she lost consciousness. What if she wakes up and tries to get away?"

Matthew replied, "Maybe I can talk to the other personality and calm her down.  Reason with her.  I mean, the other personality is scared because Lycoris wants to sacrifice herself, right?"

The shapeshifter furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"Do you think she can be reasoned with? I've seen her for myself before and she is quite aggressive, completely different from the real Lycoris we know."
