Romance RP

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good.  In the meantime, do you want anything?  Something to eat or drink perhaps?"

Lycoris replied, "Maybe we should eat? That might help us gain some strength."

The shapeshifter commented, "It's around lunchtime so I'll tell the cooks to bring you lunch. But there's something I need you to know first. We talked to the captain earlier to try to have him limit his visits here but to no avail. That man insists on coming here whenever he liked."

Ryan frowned and replied, "That's definitely going to be a problem.  His presence will not help with Lycoris' recovery at all.  Is there no way to make him stop coming altogether?"

Alex quietly replied, "If one of us stays with you for as long as possible, we can limit his presence."

The shapeshifter nodded and confirming Alex's words, she said, "Yeah, that's the best solution we could come up with. The captain can still come whenever he wanted of course but if he finds one of us here, he won't dare to act as cruelly and he'd probably leave quickly."

Alex turned to the shapeshifter and commented,

"Perhaps we should come up with some sort of schedule so we can figure out which one of us stays at what times and so forth.  It probably won't be necessary for us to stay past evening since even the captain needs to sleep."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "Yeah, we can do that."

She turned to the couple and said, "Do you have any objections to this plan? If not, I and my partner will need to get going for a while but we'll be back later, one of us at least."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, that sounds fine to me.  What do you think, angel?  Are you ok with this plan?"

He looked to Lycoris for her reply.

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yes, I am fine with it as well."

The shapeshifter replied, "Good then. I'll ask the cooks to make you lunch in a bit."

She then went out of the room and waited for Alex to follow, then closed the door behind them.

After the shapeshifter and Alex left, Ryan turned to Lycoris and asked,

"How are you feeling, angel?  Do you feel like you have complete control for now?"

Meanwhile, as Alex walked with the shapeshifter, he commented,

"I'm glad that Lycoris is ok again but I wonder what happened with that bracelet.  I'm sure your mother couldn't have anticipated what happened just now."

Lycoris smiled a bit and reaching out to hold Ryan's hand, she quietly replied,

"Yes, she calmed down for now."

She paused then softly replied, "Thank you, for choosing me in the end."

The shapeshifter sighed in frustration and replied, "No, my mother probably didn't know otherwise she would have told me. This might not have crossed her mind at all."

She paused then said, "Let us get something to eat first then we can discuss this. There's too much going in my head at the moment and I am pretty sure you aren't much different."

Ryan smiled softly and gently squeezing Lycoris' hand, he replied, "I fell in love with you first and I love you for who you are so I would choose you in the end.  I love your purity, innocence, and everything that is good about you."

Alex nodded and replied, "True and some food would do us both good."

(Getting sleepy now so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I'm all done with work.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Nite, nite, phoenix and sorry for the delay. My mum came back from outside and wanted me to help put away some shoppings and all. XD)

Lycoris couldn't help but blush deeply at hearing Ryan's words and continuing to hold his hand lovingly, she replied,

"You're the only one in the world that I can trust and depend on, Ryan. I would gladly give my life for you. I know that as long as you're by my side, I have someone to blindly put my faith into."

The shapeshifter nodded and led the way to the kitchen first, where she asked the cooks to cook and send food to the couple and then themselves. She then turned to Alex and said, "Let's head to your room. They'll bring us lunch there."

(Ahh that's ok.  I'm all done with work now so I can post.  XD)

Ryan reached up to touch Lycoris' cheek lovingly and replied, "I will stay by your side for as long as you want, my angel.  I'll never leave you."

He gazed happily into Lycoris' eyes, glad that it was the usual Lycoris he was talking to.

Alex replied, "Ok."

As he and the shapeshifter headed towards his room, Alex said, "During lunch, we should figure out our schedule for looking after Lycoris."

Lycoris blushed and reaching out to hold Ryan's hand in her hands, she kissed it softly and replied,

"I don't know what I might have done without you, Ryan. You're really my knight and my hero, my everything."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "Alright. You're probably going to be there a bit more than I will though. I have a lot of duties to take care of but we'll figure something out."

They soon made it at Alex's room and the shapeshifter followed Alex inside.

Ryan blushed deeply and shyly replied, "And you will always be my angel, a true shining star in the sky of darkness."

Alex nodded and replied, "I understand."

As the two seated themselves at the table and waited for lunch, he asked, "Are you going to contact your mother this afternoon?  Tell her what happened?"

Lycoris blushed a little deeper and replied happily,

"That makes us two stars, you know. I'm quite convinced that you're a star as well, the star of my happiness and joy."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "Yeah, I have to. She might have a solution for this, something else that could restrict Lycoris' powers without affecting her soul although I doubt such a thing is possible, but it's worth a try."

Ryan blushed more and replied, "Aww you flatter me, my angel, but I do love hearing such words from you."

He gazed happily at Lycoris, enjoying every moment with her.

Alex nodded and looking deep in thought, he said, "I wonder if it's possible to make Lycoris' other self go to sleep.  Kind of like suppressing her somehow.  I don't think killing her would be wise but maybe making her sleep might be a possibility."

Lycoris shook her head and softly replied, "I am not flattering you. I'm really speaking the truth. Ryan, I-I...I loved you very much but after what you did a little ago, choosing to remain by my side despite everything...my love for you multiplied hundreds of times."

The shapeshifter shrugged and replied, "I can't tell but we have to be careful with everything. Lycoris' other self is still her in a way. You don't know if doing anything to one affects the other, especially that they seem connected."

Just then, there was a knock on the door and a couple of soldiers came in with the food, laid it out on the table then took their leave.

Ryan hugged Lycoris and softly replied, "I'll never leave you, my angel.  I promise.  I may not always agree with everything that you say or do but I won't abandon you ever.  I've made my choice and I'm sticking to it, no matter what."

After the soldiers left, Alex nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's true.  There doesn't seem to be any simple solution to this problem, is there?"

Lycoris returned Ryan's hug lovingly and tightly as she replied with voice full of love and appreciation,

"Thank you, Ryan. Thank you."

There was a knock on the door then and a soldier came in carrying a tray of food. He put it down on the table nearby then took his leave.

The shapeshifter shook her head and replied, "I thought that once we have the girl, things will be a lot easier but I guess not. I won't give up though."

As they started eating, she said, "So when do you want to be the one looking after her?"

After the soldier left, Ryan got up and picked up the tray of food, carrying it back to the bed.  He placed it in front of Lycoris and said,

"Lunch is here and it looks quite delicious.  We should eat."

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Any time is fine for me really although I would like to keep evenings free if possible so that I may contact my darling.  At least I can talk to her every day since I won't be returning any time soon.  I don't want her to worry more about me."

Lycoris nodded and the couple started eating their food, which was quite delicious. As they did, Lycoris thought of something and said,

"You should probably contact Duchess Irene and Sia soon. They must be quite worried all the time so keeping them updated might help."

The shapeshifter nodded and after a moment of silence, she said,

"Would it be alright then that you remain during mornings and afternoons? And I will stay during evenings. I'm free then but mornings and afternoons are busy for me as I have other duties to take care of."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's a good idea.  If Alex comes back after lunch, then I can contact Sia and Duchess Irene.  It wouldn't be a good idea to risk using my power in the shapeshifter's presence."

He paused and then asked, "Should I tell them that Alex is here?  I don't think Alex wants the information publicly known so that the shapeshifter finds out."

Alex nodded and replied, "Sure, that sounds fine to me.  It looks like our schedule is all set and after lunch, I'll return to Lycoris and Ryan and let them know."

He began to eat his lunch, as he felt a little hungry.

Lycoris replied, "Maybe you should ask him? He did trust us with this piece of information so I don't think it's right to tell anyone else without his permission. And I'm worried for his sake. The more people who know, the larger the chance of the shapeshifter finding out and getting angry at him."

The shapeshifter took off her hood and began eating as well, getting her strength. She was still thoughtful about Lycoris' condition and hoped that it wouldn't get in the way of taking her powers in the end.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good.  I'll ask him when he returns alone before I contact Sia and Duchess Irene.

Now let's eat before the food gets cold."

As the two of them continued to eat, Alex asked, "So you have to make rounds this afternoon, checking up on the soldiers and such?"
