As Lycoris was emotionally feeling better, she realized how her body needed food. So nodding, she smiled a bit and replied,

"That would be great, Ryan. I'd appreciate it."

(Back now.  XD)

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "Ok then.  I'll be right back."

He turned to the puppies and added, "You two look after our angel now, ok?"

The puppies barked happily and then Ryan left the room, heading to the kitchen to prepare a mid-morning snack.

Lycoris waited patiently meanwhile, resting while petting the puppies gently. She felt better emotionally although she was quite tired physically, and hoped some food would replenish her energy.

In the kitchen, Ryan took out a small tray and then a plate, where he placed various apple treats on them.  Then he took two glasses and poured apple juice on them.

Once he was done, he carried the tray out of the kitchen and back upstairs to their room.  There, he approached Lycoris and setting the tray in front of her, he happily said,

"Here you are, Lycoris.  I made sure to take out many treats just for you."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Thanks a lot, Ryan. I really appreciate it."

She then started by taking an apple treat and biting it. She was hungry but she ate slowly, as she truly felt tired, but the food helped put some energy into her.

Ryan smiled softly as Lycoris began to eat and he took a glass of apple juice, sipping it.  He felt relieved that Lycoris was eating again and although he had to agree to treat her as his sister, he wouldn't give up on persuading her that they could be more than that.  He would need to talk to Lisianthus, though, and hopefully, he would be able to persuade her of how his heart felt towards both of the ladies.

As the couple were enjoying their snacks, Lycoris looked a little apologetic and said,

"I'm sorry you had to pack your things and all for nothing...you should unpack them again. I-I'm really sorry."

Ryan shook his head and smiling, he replied, "It's ok, and you don't need to apologize.  It was my fault in the first place but you're right.  I should unpack.  You continue eating, ok?"

He got up and approaching his bag, he took out his things and placed them back in the appropriate drawers and such.

Lycoris was a bit surprised that Ryan got up immediately to unpack as she didn't want him to leave eating or anything. Thinking it was the least thing she should do, she paused in her eating and said,

"I'll wait for you. I want us to eat together."

Ryan smiled softly at Lycoris and nodding, he continued to unpack, doing so quickly as he didn't have many items.  Then he returned to Lycoris' side and resuming his seat, he replied,

"I'm all done.  Now we can continue eating."

He looked at the treats, which brought up happy memories of the two of them at the apple festival.

Lycoris smiled softly as Ryan returned to her side and resumed eating with him. Eating the treats reminded her of their happy times in the festival as well. She commented,

"These treats are still as delicious as when we ate them the first time."

Ryan grinned and nodding, he replied,

"Yup, they sure are.  The refrigerator keeps them fresh for as long as we wish.  Also, we have some apples so we can make more treats."

Lycoris nodded with a smile and replied, "We should do that but wait until I'm better and on my feet again, huh? I'd like to stand by your side and make some delicious sweets with you when I can."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Of course.  I wouldn't dream of making them without you to help me."

He continued to eat his share of the treats, soon finishing up.

Lycoris was soon done eating her share of treats as well, feeling slightly better than before having gotten something to eat. She smiled softly and said,

"Thanks again for the treats, Ryan. They were really delicious."

Ryan returned Lycoris' smile as well and nodding, he replied, "You're welcome, my angel."

He gently placed the tray to the side and then asked, "So what would you like to do now?  Do you want to take a nap or do something else?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful for a moment then asked,

"Would you mind helping me freshen up a bit? I just want to wash my face and maybe move my legs a bit. I'm just tired of remaining in bed for so long. Would I tire you out in anyway?"

Ryan shook his head and smiling, he replied, "Not at all.  I'd be happy to help.  If you'd like, I can prepare a nice warm bubble bath like before."

Lycoris liked the idea and nodding, she smiled and said,

"Yes, I'd really like that. I would feel a lot better if I washed up and all. I'd really appreciate it, Ryan. Thanks a lot."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Ok then.  A nice bubble bath coming up just for you."

He got up and then went into the bathroom to prepare the bubble bath for Lycoris, which he did so quickly.  Once he was done, he returned to her and said,

"Ok, your bath's all ready."

Lycoris smiled happily and replied, "Thanks a lot, Ryan."

She carefully sat up and got out of bed. However, the moment she tried to stand on her feet, she felt as though her whole world was spinning around and sat on bed again before she would lose her balance.

Ryan was alarmed as Lycoris sat back down on the bed and looking at her with worry, he asked,

"Are you all right, Lycoris?  Do you want to lie down for a bit?"

Lycoris took her breathes and smiling a bit so she wouldn't worry Ryan, she replied quietly,

"I'm ok, don't worry. I just felt really dizzy when I tried to stand up. I-I am guessing my body is really quite weak."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that would make sense.  In that case, do you just want to wash your face then.  I can escort you to the sink and help you, and then I can take you back.  Would that be ok?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yeah, that would be fine for now. Umm just hold on to me, well, ok? I just don't want to fall down or pass out again."
