Romance RP

Ryan watched as Lycoris petted the puppies and jokingly, he said,

"Perhaps next time, we should let our boys choose the book?"

The puppies barked happily, excited over the idea.

Lycoris giggled happily over Ryan's comment and replied, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea and it sounds like they like it, too, Ryan."

She petted them gently and played with them a little.

Ryan chuckled and nodding, he replied, "Yup, they sure do.  We probably could find them a book that they would like next time."

He reached over to pet the puppies as well, enjoying the evening with Lycoris.  He thought of something and asked,

"Lycoris, do you feel stronger physically?  I'm just curious and all."

Lycoris was a bit surprised by Ryan's question but after a moment of thought, she replied,

"I definitely feel better than how I was in the gods' world. I couldn't even stand on my own back then. I am somewhat stronger now although I get tired quickly and I tend to feel sleepy easily. Umm it's like some sort of a fatigue that I am slowly getting rid of, you know? But that's not bad, is it?"

She looked a bit worried, wondering if her recovery wasn't going so well.

Ryan shook his head and smiling, he replied,

"Not at all.  I don't expect you to be at 100% strength right away.  It'll take time but as long as you are making progress and getting stronger, that's good.  We should try not to overdo things so if I'm pushing you too hard, you just tell me, ok?"

Lycoris smiled and shaking her head, she replied, "Oh, you're not pushing things at all but I'll let you know if I feel overwhelmed. I want to recover as fast as I can too."

She turned her attention back to the puppies and the couple spent the rest of the evening together, enjoying each other's company.

Ryan continued to spend the evening with Lycoris and the puppies, playing with them and truly enjoying the company around him.  Making conversation, he said,

"I can't wait to take you to the apple festival, Lycoris.  We'll have so much fun then.  There will be all sorts of contests and events and lots of food, of course.  And there will be dancing in the evening as well."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "I can't wait either. I want to see how the people celebrate, try all the food there and the contests, too. And there will be dancing? Can we dance then? I love dancing and I want to join the people in their merriness."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Definitely.  I know we'll be going together but I want to make it official."

He touched Lycoris' right hand and then said,

"My angel, will you be my date for the apple festival?  Of course, I mean we're going as friends."

He didn't want Lycoris to misunderstand his intentions.

Lycoris blushed deeply as Ryan made his request and for a moment, she actually wished they could go to the festival together as something more than friends. But she quickly pushed away such thought, scolding herself inwardly, and replied shyly,

"Y-Yes, of course. Umm I'd love to go with you. There's no one else I'd want with me then."

Ryan gently kissed Lycoris' right hand in a gentlemanly manner and smiling, he replied,

"Thank you, Lycoris.  We're going to have the best time there and you'll have my full attention."

He looked to the puppies and added, "You two will have fun, too."

The puppies barked happily in reply and wagged their tails.

Lycoris smiled happily and replied, "I am sure of it and the puppies will enjoy their time as well."

The couple continued enjoying their time for a while more before eventually, it was getting late. Lycoris yawned a little and blushing a bit, she said,

"Aww man, it seems like I am getting sleepy again. Is it late yet?"

Ryan quickly checked the time and nodding, he replied,

"Ahh it is getting to be quite late so we should head on off to bed soon.  Why don't I go ahead and get ready first so that you can take your time?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok then. You take your time too and I'll be waiting for you."

Ryan nodded and replied, "All right.  I'll be quick."

He gave Lycoris a kiss on the cheek and after getting a pair of pajamas, he went to the bathroom to wash up and get ready for the night.

Lycoris waited meanwhile, playing with the puppies as he got ready for the night. As she waited, she recalled how she felt when Ryan asked her to be his date and what she thought, and sighed inwardly, wishing she could stop thinking that way.

I am not in love with him. He's just my brother. I am not in love with him . . .

(Aww, Lycoris should just admit that she's fallen for Ryan.  XD)

Ryan quickly brushed his teeth and washed his face, unaware that Lycoris was having such thoughts about him.  Although he felt happy that he had asked Lycoris to officially be his date, part of him felt as though he wanted it to be more than just an outing between two friends.  But he couldn't figure out the reasons.  Shaking off his thoughts, he changed out of his clothes and into a pair of pajamas.  Then he combed his hair and after he was done, he left the bathroom and put away his clothes.  Fetching a nightgown for Lycoris, he approached her and said,

"I'm all done, Lycoris.  I'll help you get ready and then give you your nightgown so you can change, ok?"

(Yup, I totally agree but she's too scared to do so. XD)

Lycoris snapped out of her thoughts as Ryan approached her then nodding, she replied, "Ahh yes, sure."

She put the puppies carefully on the sofa then got up and waited for Ryan to lead her to the bathroom.

(I see.  XD)

Ryan gently held on to Lycoris' arm as he led the way into the bathroom.  Then he helped Lycoris to brush her teeth and wash her face.  Once those tasks were completed, Ryan handed her a nightgown and said,

"Here's your nightgown, Lycoris.  Do you need anything else before I leave you to get changed?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "No, thanks, Ryan. I'll change and once I am done, I'll call for you."

She took the nightgown from him and waited for him to leave so she could get changed.

Ryan nodded and replied, "All right."

He gave Lycoris a kiss on the cheek and then left the bathroom, making sure to close the door.  Then he took out his pendant and sitting on the sofa, he said,

"Hi, beautiful.  Are you there?"

Back in the gods' world, Lisianthus was already in bed although she hadn't gone to sleep yet, waiting for Ryan to call her. As she felt her pendant activate, she happily went to it and hearing Ryan's voice, she replied excitedly,

"Hey, cutie. I missed you so much. Every moment that passes while waiting for you feels like eternity."

Ryan smiled softly upon hearing Lisianthus' voice and although a part of him knew that he should miss her, he didn't feel too lonely.  But not voicing his true feelings, he replied instead,

"I'm sorry, beautiful. I hope you didn't have to wait too long for me."

Lisianthus replied happily,

"I'd wait forever if I had to, cutie. How are you doing? Is everything ok on your end? And how's Lycoris?"

Ryan replied, "Everything's great here.  Lycoris is recovering nicely although she gets tired at times so she isn't at 100% full strength yet.  But I'm sure she'll get there soon."

He briefly told Lisianthus how he and Lycoris had spent their day.  After he was done, Ryan asked,

"How about you, beautiful?  Did you have a good day?"
