Romance RP

(I really hope he can do that because Lycoris can be quite stubborn. :/)

Lycoris returned the hug gratefully and smiling a little although sadly, she replied,

"Thank you, Ryan. I-I'll never forget everything that you've done for me, not as long as I live. I don't exaggerate when I say that you're everything and everyone to me now."

(Yup, I can see that.  :/)

Ryan broke the hug and looking gently at Lycoris, he replied, "And you'll have me forever.  Nothing and no one will tear us apart."

He looked to Lisianthus and added, "You have Sia, too.  She's family, right?"

The puppies barked as well and smiling, Ryan added, "And you have these boys as well."

Lisianthus nodded happily and said, "That's right, Lycoris. We're never leaving you."

Lycoris smiled faintly although she didn't say anything for a moment. She appreciated everyone's presence and especially Ryan's although she still thought that no one could ever replace Alex or Nerine.

She only said softly, "Thank you, everyone. I appreciate it."

Ryan gently stroked Lycoris' hair and replied, "We love you, Lycoris, and you truly are the best sister I've ever had.

Now let's finish up our lunch and then we can figure out what to do for the afternoon."

He resumed his lunch and helped Lycoris to continue to eat as well.

Lycoris continued eating her lunch as well and was soon all finished, as was Lisianthus. They waited for Ryan to finish as well and once he too was all done, she took care of cleaning up and putting everything aside for the maids to take care later.

After everything was cleaned up, Ryan turned to Lisianthus and Lycoris and asked,

"So what would my beautiful, wonderful ladies like to do this afternoon?"

Lisianthus looked thoughtful then happily replied, "How about playing with the puppies? You know something, I was never too fond of dogs and puppies because I was always scared of the big ones but these two are adorable."

She looked fondly at little Ryan and Bryan and reached out to pet them.

The puppies happily received Lisianthus' attentions and smiling, Ryan replied,

"They sure do like you, too, beautiful.  I'm definitely right about these boys.  They definitely like beautiful wonderful women."

Lisianthus continued petting the puppies gently and grinning, she replied,

"Heh, they're as lucky as you are, cutie, huh? Being around beautiful ladies who love and adore them. You're one lucky man and they're a lucky pair of puppies, too."

The puppies barked happily and chuckling, Ryan replied,

"Yup, you're right about that, beautiful.  You know, I never imagined that my life would become so rich like his.  I have two beautiful, wonderful ladies with me and the best little puppies ever.  I wouldn't ask for anything else."

Lisianthus grinned and replied, "You sure are one lucky man, cutie, luckier than ever. But we're lucky to have you too, you know, right, Lycoris?"

She looked to Lycoris for an answer although she didn't get any, for Lycoris had succumbed to her tiredness and fell asleep once more. Lisianthus smiled softly and quietly said,

"Well, a little more rest would do her some good, I think."

Ryan nodded and gently holding Lycoris' hand, he quietly replied,

"That's true.  The head healer said that Lycoris should get lots of rest today so I can imagine that she'll want a lot of sleep."

Thinking of a change of topic, he asked, "How's the work going, beautiful?"

Lisianthus smiled a little and replied,

"Nothing out of the usual. I've been taking care of the usual matters although I've yet to find a new chancellor not to mention a suitable way to punish the old one. Then there's the captain and the matter of protecting the castle even more. I thought we had the best securities but they could get past everything so far somehow."

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "Yeah, you've got a lot on your hands, beautiful.  I'm sorry.  I wish I could help more but my highest priority right now is protecting Lycoris.  That captain will stop at nothing to get her."

Lisianthus smiled softly and replied, "Nah, it's okay, cutie. It's quite important to protect Lycoris, too. If the captain could get to her, that would be a disaster."

She paused then remembering something that Duke Collins said, she looked at Ryan tentatively and said,

"Ryan, you only think of Lycoris as a sister, right?"

Ryan looked at Lisianthus in confusion but nodding, he replied,

"Yup, that's right.  Lycoris is the sister that I've always needed in my life."

He paused for a moment and then asked, "Have I ever given you a reason to think otherwise?"

(Getting late here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post tomorrow after I get back from work and then you know what happens after.  Anyway, nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus quickly smiled and shaking her head, she replied,

"Nah. Never mind that, ok? That was silly of me to ask. It's just that I've been missing you lately, you know? We don't spend as much time together as we used to do and you're leaving soon as well although I understand that you need to protect Lycoris right now and everything. Her safety comes before anything. Hee, hee, makes me wish that I was targeted too to have you protect me, cutie. Lycoris is sure lucky having you all to herself for now."

(I got back from work a little while ago so I'll make this post now.  And I'll make one more post before I head off to sleep.  XD)

Ryan reached out to touch Lisianthus' hand and replied,

"I miss you, you know, and if that horrible captain was going after you, I would protect you with all of my soul.  I kind of did that when we were in the human world-when the chancellor was trying to capture you.

I promise that I'll contact you every day until we're together again.  I can use my telepathy to communicate with me and if there is any emergency, you can tell me right away and I'll return to you."

(Ahh ok. XD)

Lisianthus smiled softly and lovingly at Ryan and replied,

"I know, cutie. You don't need to tell me that. But you know that I'm quite strong, too, and for the while you're away, I'll make sure that everyone is safe here. And when the time comes, that captain will pay for everything that he's done-we'll punish him together."

She paused then continued, "Speaking of punishment and the chancellor, I was thinking earlier. I am not exactly in a hurry to punish the chancellor but umm, this probability crossed my mind. Do you think the captain could try to free the chancellor somehow and help him escape, to make him help him against us?"

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "It's possible but I highly doubt it."

He recalled what happened during the battle when he, Lisianthus, and her loyal soldiers retook the castle.  Then he continued,

"The chancellor did help us during the battle against the captain.  And before he was taken away, he was genuinely worried about Lycoris.  He knew how harmful the captain is and I don't think the chancellor is the same kind of man that the captain is.  I don't agree with the chancellor's actions but in a way, I can understand his reasoning behind them.  He isn't as extreme as the captain, though.  Perhaps there could be a way to persuade the chancellor to come to our side."

(So I'm making this post for the night and then heading off to sleep.  I got some decent progress made on the proofreading work although I'll clearly need to do some more tomorrow.  I'll make another post tomorrow and let you know how things go and all that.  Anyway, nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus frowned in annoyance as Ryan seemed to be defending the chancellor's case and replied,

"There's no way I'm cooperating with that man again, even if he wishes to take my side. I can't ever forget nor forgive what's he done and eventually, he'll have to pay for it. To me, he's no better than that captain, Ryan. He probably just didn't get the chance to go as far as the captain did. I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't join his side if he could."

She paused then continued, "It would be dangerous to lose him to the captain's side. He's powerful, too. Although his room is magic-proof, if that shapeshifter somehow could get him out, he could easily break out."

Ryan looked taken aback by Lisianthus' reply.  Although he didn't like the chancellor, as he had hurt Lisianthus in the past, Ryan believed that he shouldn't be hurt, either.  Thinking of what to do, he replied,

"Well, before Lycoris and I leave, I can place some magical wards in the chancellor's room so if that shapeshifter tries to enter, they'll set off some kind of warning?  It's what I was planning to do to Lycoris' room."

(I'll be doing proofreading work today but I'll come back this evening to make another post.  ^^)

Lisianthus looked thoughtful for a few moments then nodding, she replied,

"That would work for now. It could be temporary at least. I had other ideas though . . . "

She wanted to say that she would have no problems executing the chancellor just like she did with the soldiers, or at least putting him for trial where he could get punished for treason and it'd be all the same, but remembering how Ryan reacted with the soldiers, she didn't say it out loud, but decided that she'd go for that option secretly in case things went wrong later. So nodding, she said,

"The magical wards would do just fine, I suppose."

Ryan looked curiously at Lisianthus and replied, "What other ideas did you have in mind?"

He was afraid that Lisianthus might consider having the chancellor killed and he believed that such an action would only cause more problems rather than help.

(I'll be doing more proofreading work now but I'll come back to make one more post before I head off to sleep for the night.  XD)

Lisianthus hesitated whether to tell Ryan what she planned to do in case his idea didn't work later on or really, she planned to do at all, although she'd postpone till later unless she had no choice. But knowing that telling him would only break an argument, she smiled and said,

"Forget it, ok? Just focus on making sure that Lycoris is all safe. Let me take care of the other matters."
