Stacey nodded and replied, "Thank goodness."

Not knowing how long it would be before the guy on the floor would wake up, Stacey then said, "We should get out of here. Hopefully, my horse is nearby. Those jerks grabbed me suddenly before I knew what happened."

William nodded and replied, "Even if it isn't nearby, my horse is pretty near to here. Let us go."

He held her hand and then led the way to outside quickly, where his horse was waiting.

Stacey nodded and holding William's hand, she followed him outside to where his horse was. She hoped that her horse wasn't too far away, for she was concerned about the horse's well-being.

(Man, those kidnappers are going to get an earful from Lord James later. XD)

(And Lord James is probably going to get an earful from Steven for hiring them. xD)

Stacey's horse was fortunately not too away and as soon as they reached William's, it came and approached them. Looking towards it, William said,

"Looking like your horse was waiting for you."

(lol Yup. XD)

Stacey smiled and replied, "Thank goodness. I was afraid she would be lost." Approaching the horse and petting it on her head, Stacey asked, "Are you all right?"

The horse whinnied softly and Stacey replied, "Looks like you're ok." Turning to William, Stacey asked, "Where should we go? We could continue our day but keep our eyes open in case those jerks come back."

William nodded and replied, "Yeah, sounds good. We shouldn't allow these two to spoil our day. Let us get going."

He helped her up on her horse and then got up on his.

After Stacey got on her horse with William's help and William got on his horse, the two went on their way to enjoy the day, despite the incident earlier. Stacey made sure that her horse kept up with William's and looking over at him, she said, "I think it's better that our horses keep at the same pace this time but you decide which direction we go, ok?"

William nodded in agreement and replied, "Alright and no racing again, okay? You saw what happened because of it."

He said it in a light way so Stacey wouldn't take it as blaming, as he wasn't really blaming her. They continued to ride through the forests but was getting close to the countryside.

Stacey didn't take any offense to William's words and nodding, she replied, "I understand."

She rode beside him as they headed to the countryside. She hoped that they would be able to enjoy the rest of their day without any other incidents.

The couple continued riding through the forests a little more and then they were out of there, in the beautiful countryside where the farms were with its pretty nature and animals. A few farmers would occasionally see them and smile at them, maybe wave as they say them ride by.

Stacey loved seeing the countryside and the farms. She saw the farmers and waved back happily, seeing how friendly they were. As they continued to ride side by side, Stacey asked, "Hey, handsome, do you think it's possible to have a farm like one of those one day? It would be nice to raise some animals and work on the land, I think."

William turned to Stacey and shrugging, he replied, "Maybe. I suppose if I work hard enough for it, we may have such a thing one day."

Stacey nodded and replied, "I understand. Well, I suppose if you want it as well. I know it's a lot of work and responsibility to raise a farm and all. But I'm happy wherever we are as long as we're together."

She smiled softly at William and then continued to ride alongside him, enjoying their day.

William continued riding alongside Stacey although his mind wasn't really on the trip anymore. He was thinking of who were those two men who kidnapped her and who was really that Steven, and couldn't really get his head off it.

Stacey continued to ride happily alongside William, putting the events of earlier behind her. She glanced at William to see how he was doing but could see that he looked to be a little distracted and so asked,

"Is everything ok, handsome?"

William snapped out of his thoughts as Stacey asked him whether everything was alright. Replying with a little concern on his face, he said,

"Ahh yeah, everything is okay. It is just that, you know, I can't help but still think about what happened earlier, wonder who were those two men and what did they want from you."

(I had to go out for a while but I'm back now. ^^)

Stacey replied, "Yeah, I know what you mean. Things they said didn't make any sense. If I didn't know any better, it was almost like someone promised to pay them to have me kidnapped or something but who would want such a thing?"

William nodded and replied, "I have no idea. And then that Steven. Something was just so off about him that I just can't figure it out."

Stacey nodded and replied, "I felt the same thing. But then, maybe he really did hear news that there was a kidnapping attempt on me and he wanted to help. I didn't want to be openly suspicious of him unless I had facts or something."

William didn't like Stacey's answer one bit since he didn't feel comfortable to that Steven one in bit, and he couldn't hide that from his look on his face. But replying, he said, "Yeah, maybe, whatever. Let's just keep our eyes open."

Stacey could see the look on William's face and wondered what he was thinking. She wasn't the type to want to suspect someone, if she did have such ideas. But deciding that it was best not to pursue the matter, she replied, "Yeah, let's be vigilant from here on out and in the meantime, let's continue enjoying the day. There's more of the countryside to see, isn't there?"

William nodded but didn't say anything. Although he wanted to enjoy the day and forget what happened early, he obviously couldn't. Once something has annoyed him, it was hard for him to forget it so easily. But he didn't bring up the subject anymore and just tried to watch the countryside with Stacey.

Stacey continued to enjoy the rest of the morning, looking at the farms and the rest of the countryside. Smiling at William, she asked, "Is it as beautiful in the gods' world as here?"

(I wonder if William's going to investigate those kidnappers or Steven. XD)

(He might actually. xD)

William turned to Stacey as she asked him that question and replying, he said, "Not what I have seen of it, no it isn't as beautiful as here. But then I only lived in one miserable place, I can't give you a real answer."

Stacey nodded and replied, "I see."

As William had mentioned about living in a miserable place in the gods' world, Stacey felt it best not to talk about the gods' world for a while. Instead, she continued, "I'm happy that the weather is cooperating today. If it had been raining or something, it would have spoiled the day."
