Romance RP

William saw one man coming out of the shack and as he gave him that sentence, William couldn't really understand anything. But he just knew this: this man either alone or with another kidnapped his wife and he needed to set her free.

Looking angrily at him, he said, "Let go of my wife now or else you'll see what you wouldn't like to see."

(I'll be off just a few minutes for lunch and come back. xD)

(Ok. XD)

The man looked at William and with a glare, he replied, "I'm getting paid a lot of money so don't interfere. Otherwise, you'll be the one hurt."

Meanwhile, Stacey's rescuer had arrived a little far from where Stacey was being held. He got off his horse and ran towards her when he saw the confrontation between William and one of the kidnappers. He hid behind a tree and watched to see what would happen.

William couldn't understand what did the man mean by that he was getting paid a lot of money. Looking at him with the same angry look, he replied,

"Getting paid by who? Who made you kidnap my wife like that?"

(Coolie. XD)

The kidnapper looked a little nervous, as he wasn't supposed to tell that it was Lord James' plan to have Stacey kidnapped and such. Lord James could be intimidating when he wanted to be and the kidnapper knew better than to reveal him. So the kidnapper replied back, "That's none of your business. Now go. We won't hurt the lady. We just want our money."

Stacey's rescuer had heard enough and knew that if William continued to press the issue, all would be revealed. So he revealed himself behind the tree and ran towards the shack, hoping to get to Stacey before William did.

William couldn't just go like that. Unable to catch his temper anymore, he rushed at that man and catching him right tight from the collar, he fiercely said,

"Let go of her I said, and now!"

The kidnapper felt William grab him by the collar and threaten to let Stacey go. He thought to himself then that it wasn't worth his life for the money and although Lord James would be furious later, he didn't have a choice at that moment. Pointing to the shack, he barely said,

"In there. You won't get past my partner."

William looked one last threatening look at the man between his hands but then let go of him furiously. He then went directly to the shack's entrance and strongly hitting it, he said,

"Open you there, right now!"

The other kidnapper in the shack with Stacey heard William, thinking that it was her rescuer coming for her. Playing along, he yelled,

"No way! We're going to hold her for ransom."

William was already having enough of it, and his temper was really losing it. Keeping control of it for just one last try, he yelled back,

"Open up this door or else I'll break it myself!"

Stacey could hear William yell to her captor to open up the door and tried as hard as she could to free herself but to no avail.

The kidnapper heard William's taunt and still not realizing that it was William, he replied, "Ha! Go ahead and try."

William was then in the top of his anger and as the kidnapper said his last sentence, William rushed forward at the door to break it open. He didn't succeed the first few times but gathering all his strength and fortunately having a large muscle-built body, he could break it open right in the fifth try.

Upon seeing William, the kidnapper was surprised to see him, for he hadn't expected Stacey's husband to appear. He exclaimed, "You're not supposed to be here!"

Stacey was confused at hearing the kidnapper's comment but couldn't think much on it since she had to find a way to free herself.

William couldn't understand what did the kidnapper mean by that either but not like he cared. Without saying anything, he just gave the kidnapper a strong punch right in the face and then ran to where Stacey was. He saw that she was all tied up but before he untied her, he freed her mouth and asked her in a worried tone,

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they?"

The kidnapper fell to the ground upon being hit by William's punch. After Stacey was greed from the gag and heard William's question, she shook her head and replied, "I'm ok but I don't know what's going on. These guys are acting strange."

Just then, Stacey's "rescuer" came in and announced, "Don't worry, fair maiden, I'm here-."

But then he saw one kidnapper unconscious on the floor and William was already helping Stacey so he stood there shocked, not knowing what to do.

(lol on that guy. Poor one, he came a little too late. xD)

William was untying Stacey's hands as that "rescuer" came in, and wasn't sure who that guy was. He finished untying her hands just as he asked him,

"Ahh who are you?"

(lol Yup. XD)

The young man didn't know how to reply to William's question. He couldn't tell him the truth, that Lord James had set all this up so that he would come out the big hero. But he could see that the kidnappers had messed up somehow and he had to cover his tracks quickly. Coughing a little, he replied,

"I'm a nobleman from a neighboring town. I was passing by when I heard the attempt to kidnap Lady Stacey and hold her for ransom."

As Stacey was being freed, she heard what the young man said but was skeptical. Certain things weren't adding up.

William completely freed Stacey and as the man said his sentence, William wasn't sure about it as well. Then something came to his mind and said,

"Ahh how do you know that she is called Stacey? Do you know her from before?"

The young man was stumped for a moment. He certainly couldn't lie about knowing Stacey since they had never met before. But then he had an idea and so replied, "I've never had the pleasure but I have heard of her through fellow colleagues. I wasn't sure myself but I guessed that this lady was Stacey and I certainly couldn't allow a fellow noble to be kidnapped, especially a young lady, so I hurried as quickly as I could to try to stop it."

Stacey looked at the young man, feeling that something wasn't right. However, she didn't want to be rude and accuse him of something terrible so regaining her composure, she replied, "Thank you for your concern, sir, but as you can see, my husband has taken care of things and I'm all right now."

William could feel something was off too but since Stacey was okay and he had saved her, there was no need for any sort of fuss. So nodding, he replied,

"Exactly. Thanks for wanting to help, but as you can see, I already took care of it."

The young man was relieved that neither William nor Stacey was pushing further into the matter so nodding, he replied, "I'll take my leave then. I'm glad to see that you're all right, Lady Stacey. My name is Steven by the way. No need to call me "Lord" or anything like that. If you need anything, I'll be staying at the Tavern of Arms for a while."

Stacey smiled at Steven and replied, "Thank you, sir."

William stayed silent meanwhile, but he couldn't hide his dislike at that guy. He felt that something was off with him and even if he was really trying to help Stacey out, he just didn't like him.

As William didn't say anything, Steven simply nodded and replied, "Looks like you two have everything under control so I will be going now. Goodbye for now, Lady Stacey. I hope to see you again although under better circumstances."

He took her hand and gallantly kissed it. Then he left the shack, leaving the couple alone.

William didn't know whether he was being jealous or what, but as that guy gallantly kissed Stacey's hand, he felt some fire burning inside him. But as he left, that fire cooled down and he hoped that he would never see that guy again.

Turning towards Stacey then, he asked, "Are you alright?"

Stacey faced William and with much happiness, she hugged him and replied, "I'm all right, handsome. Thanks for coming to my rescue. I don't know what would have happened."

She let go of him and then looking at the unconscious guy, she realized that there was another kidnapper. She then asked, "What happened to the other guy?"

William shrugged and replied, "I left him outside. He didn't give me much trouble and was out of my way pretty quickly. Guess he was afraid or something, a coward fortunately."
