Romance RP

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she said,

"I am surprised, too, but it's a good thing, right? Now you can protect Nerine and yourself more efficiently. You haven't had the chance to use your magic yet though, right?"

(Sorry for getting here late.  I had another headache earlier and was trying to make it go away and then my mother called me and you can guess how that went.  :/)

Alex replied, "I've only used telepathy so far.  Nothing that I'd need to attack or defend myself with yet."

(Aww I totally understand.  Don't worry about it and I hope you feel better soon, phoenix. Take care of yourself. )

Lycoris nodded and replied, 

"Well, I hope you never have to go through such a thing ever."

She paused then smiling sadly, she said, "It is nice to think of a future and dream of something. Umm you plan on resuming your writing career, right, Alex?"

(Thanks.     I have work late today so I might be late in posting but I'll make this post now while I can.  ^^)

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, that's the plan.  Once things get quiet, I can have the space to come up with new ideas for my writing."

(Ok, take your time. ^^)

Lycoris nodded and replied, 

"Good luck with it, Alex. I am sure you'll become a famous writer one day and maybe your books and stories can become worldwide famous, not just in Devenshire."

(Thanks.  I'm back now and I know you're probably on your way to work.  I'll be here for more tomorrow.  ^^)

Alex smiled at Lycoris and replied, "Thank you, Lycoris.  That's very kind of you to say."

Inwardly, he wished that Lycoris could be as happy as he was.

(No problem. Tomorrow is my day off so I'll probably be on more as well. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and didn't say anything, but at least for that little time she was passing with Alex, she was quite happy indeed. She wanted nothing more in the world than Alex's company and she would feel as though she had the world, even if they would do nothing more than chat together.

(Ok.  XD)

As Alex and Lycoris continued to spend time together in the gardens, Alex commented,

"This feels nice.  I have missed being with you, Lycoris."

(Sorry I wasn't able to post today. My mom and dad had a huge fight again and yeah, had a terrible day instead of a relaxing one. :/ I'll post now and try to post again tomorrow before work unless another fight breaks out or something.)

Lycoris smiled with genuine happiness and replied,

"I feel the same, Alex. I have missed being with you, too. It-it's been such a long time since we spent any time together, right?"

(Aww man, I'm sorry about that.  I hope things get better and it's ok to take your time getting back here.     I have work today so I might get back here late but I'll post when I can.  ^^)

Alex smiled softly and replied, "Yes, that's true."

Looking at Lycoris made him remember all of the happy memories they'd shared.

(Thanks for understanding. I wasn't able to post earlier at home since today wasn't much different from yesterday so I am posting now from work. :/)

Lycoris blushed a little but she smiled happily, feeling warm in Alex's company. She then softly said,

"I-I know it must be troublesome for you and Nerine to be here with us with all the restrictions and all. I-I am really sorry about that. I promise this will all end soon."

(Awww I understand.  I hope things get better.   )

Alex shook his head and replied, "Hey, it's all right.  It's true that we haven't been able to move around much but we're in wonderful company and my darling has been able to move around today so we aren't that restricted."

(Things are relatively calm today so I'll post and be here while I can. ^^)

Lycoris was glad that Alex wasn't too annoyed and smiling a bit, she said,

"Thank you for understanding, Alex. I am glad Nerine got the chance to go out today. I hope she wasn't too annoyed by her stay here either."

(Cool, cool.  I'll post as much as I can, too.  If I'm slow, it's most likely because I'm gaming.  XD)

Alex shook his head and replied, "Don't worry about it.  I think my darling just felt inconvenienced but she is out today and she is feeling happier now."

(No problem. ^^)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "I hope so. Helena is a very nice and friendly person and she and Nerine will make great friends."

(Thanks.  ^^)

Alex replied, "Yup, I'm sure of it, too."

Thinking, he asked, "Hey, Lycoris, is there anything special you'd like for us to do since we have this time together?"

Lycoris thought of it for a moment but then shrugging, she smiled and said, 

"Not really. I am enjoying our time together but maybe you have something special in mind?"

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, I was thinking that perhaps we could have a dance or two?  I know it's not really the ideal setting or time but if I remember correctly, you love dancing, right?"

He remembered the times that he and Lycoris spent, so he thought that she would enjoy it.

Lycoris blushed a little but she loved the idea very much. Nodding happily, she replied, 

"Yes, of course I do. I-I would love that very much and especially with you, Alex."

Alex smiled softly at Lycoris and bowing elegantly before her, he said,

"Then, may I have the honor of this dance, miss?"

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "The honor is mine, my sir."

She happily let Alex hold on to her in a dancing position and they both started dancing smoothly although there was no music in the air.

Alex held Lycoris gently in his arms and the two of them began to dance.  Although it was daytime and there was no music, it was just the two of them, enjoying each other's company.

Lycoris continued to dance happily in Alex's arms, enjoying the activity very much despite how simple it was. She happily commented, 

"It's been a long time since we've had such a dance, right?"

(Ok, I'll log off a bit early today since I have a bit of things to do before I head to work and all. See you tomorrow, phoenix. ^^)

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yes, that's true.  I'm happy we have this chance to dance together.  You really are a wonderful dance partner, you know."

Lycoris replied happily, 

"And I can say the same about you. You're still as great as I remember you. I thought I wouldn't be as good as I was but at least I can keep up with you."
