Romance RP

Alex smiled and replied, "Well, you just have to follow my lead and I can take care of the rest."

The two continued to dance in each other's arms.

(I'm back, obviously lol, but I'm going to be gaming so my posts will probably be slow.  XD)

Lycoris continued dancing with Alex like so, enjoying every moment. The two of them continued dancing for a few more moments until eventually, the dance came to a finish. Lycoris happily said,

"Thank you for the wonderful dance, Alex. That was a lot of fun."

(Thanks.  I might be really slow when I'm playing platformers although at the moment, I just beat the second to last stage so yeah.  XD)

Alex happily replied, "I had fun, too.  Dancing with you is always enjoyable and you make a wonderful partner."

(Ahh no problem. I'll make this post and log off for now. I have a pretty bad cold and I want to rest a bit before I have to head to work. :/ I am really sorry about that. See you tomorrow, phoenix. ^^)

Lycoris replied happily, 

"Thanks, Alex. You're a wonderful partner as well. I hope I was good enough for you."

(Aww no problem.  Please rest lots and I hope you feel better soon.  ^^  )

Alex replied, "Hey, you're more than good enough to me.  You're the best and you always will be."

He smiled at Lycoris and only had the most wonderful thoughts of her.

(Thanks. I do feel better today so hopefully I'll post as usual. ^^)

Lycoris blushed a little but shyly replied, "Thanks, Alex. I-I am really happy at the moment. I am happier than how I've been in a very long time."

(Aww I'm glad to hear that.  ^^  I'm here since my work schedule got rearranged although my posts might be slow since I'm gaming.  XD)

Alex smiled softly and replied, "Hey, I'm happy to hear that.  Seeing you smile warms my heart.  I've missed spending time like this."

(No problem. XD)

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Me too. I missed it a lot. I hope you're happy too, as I am."

The two of them continued spending the morning like so, enjoying every moment.

Alex nodded happily and replied, "I am, I truly am happy to be here with you."

He reached out to touch her hand and gazed happily into her eyes.

Lycoris blushed even deeper as Alex touched her hands but she was happy with the gesture. Although she felt inside that this wasn't completely right, she thought it was ok just for that little bit, for she probably wouldn't have another such a chance to be with Alex and so close to him.

She softly said, "I am glad I am still dear to you in a way, Alex."

Alex replied, "You'll always be special to me, Lycoris."

He gently squeezed her hand, feeling the warmth in it.

Lycoris smiled happily and didn't say anything more, just enjoying the morning how it passed, hoping it would never end.

Inside the mansion, Lady Penelope was watching the couple from her room's window and hoped that things would go as they wanted.

As the two spent the morning, Alex asked,

"Lycoris, is there anything special you'd like to do?  I suggested dancing earlier but perhaps you'd like to try something else?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful then getting an idea, she shyly asked,

"Umm can we play? I-I mean, like those games we used to play before. They were pretty fun."

(I'm going to log off now so I can catch work. The head pharmacist is probably present today and I don't want to be late and all. XD See you tomorrow, phoenix. ^^)

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I'd like that.  Any particular games you'd like for us to play?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful and replied, 

"How about hide and seek? Or tag? I-I can use a bit of my magic to detect the objects around me and play. I know Matthew wouldn't like to hear me now but a little bit of magic won't hurt."

She knew that casting magic weakened her but she planned to be careful.

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Hmm, how about hide and seek?  You find a place to hide and I'll go look for you.  How does that sound?"

(If my posts are slow, it's because I'm most likely gaming although at the moment, I think I'll work on editing a review since it's really short and then I won't have to worry about reviews and focus on VN editing.  I still have 3 chapters left of VN editing so yeah.  XD)

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Okay then. Close your eyes, Alex, and I'll do my best to hide."

She waited for Alex to close his eyes and start counting.

(Thanks.  Fortunately, I finished and turned in the longest chapter I had to edit earlier so the chapters I have left now are shorter.  XD)

Alex nodded and replied, "Ok, I'll count to 30 and then try to find you."

He stood still and covering his eyes with his hands, he began to count loudly, slowly to 30.

As Alex started counting, Lycoris quickly cast a spell to detect the objects around her and then quickly went as far as she could in the garden, deciding to hide behind a tree near the mansion. She thought it was a good hiding spot and hoped Alex wouldn't find her quickly.

(And I just finished editing the review I was working on.  I'll start editing the next VN chapter tomorrow since my mind will be fresh then so yeah, posting and gaming now.  XD)

Alex continued to count slowly, loudly to 30 and once he was done, he opened his eyes and looked around.  He couldn't find a trace of Lycoris but he teasingly said,

"I'm going to find you."

(Coolies. XD I know how cool it feels to finish a batch of work. I am working on some maps too at the moment as well as posting. XD)

Lycoris heard Alex teasing but she only smiled to herself, careful not to make any sounds so she wouldn't accidentally reveal her location.

(Ahh nice.  XD)

As Alex walked around in the garden, he said loudly,

"Hmm I wonder where Lycoris could be but I can't wait to catch her."

His voice sounded closer to her although he had yet to spot her.

Lycoris continued hiding and remained quiet, although she could feel that Alex was getting quite close. Still, she didn't make a sound and hoped it would take him some time more before he found her.

Alex continued to look around his surroundings, finding no clues as to Lycoris' whereabouts.  He admitted to himself that she had found a good hiding spot and it would take some work on his part to find her.
