Romance RP

(I'll be gaming btw so I'll be slow.  XD)

Matthew gave Anjela a kiss on the cheek and hugged her lovingly.  He commented,

"I love resting with you, my Anjela."

(Take your time. XD)

Anjela returned Matthew's hug and gently replied, 

"And I love resting with you. I missed this a lot yesterday. I was alone but all I could think of was making it back safely to you, having your arms engulf me again. They're my safe haven, the only place I can break down into."

She laid her head on Matthew's chest, listening to his heartbeat, although she couldn't help but feel saddened knowing it was weakened.

Matthew replied, "You have no idea how worried I was about you, about what was happening to you.  But I'm happy you're safe now."

He vowed to protect Anjela to the end.

Anjela smiled sadly at Matthew and replied, 

"I know. I am sorry I worried you. I think I should have been more careful, rather than just throw myself into the captain's hands. But I am back and safe now and I am not leaving your side again, not anytime soon."

Matthew smiled lovingly at Anjela and replied, "I'm happy to hear that because I don't want to be apart from you."

He hugged Anjela tightly, taking in her love and warmth.

Anjela returned Matthew's hug tightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek, smiling softly at him. She said, 

"I still wonder how you awakened all these beautiful, loving feelings in me once again. You're a gift, Matt. A wonderful gift that soothes a lot of my pain."

Matthew blushed and replied, "And you are my gift, Anjela.  I truly am the luckiest man to be loved by you."

He gave Anjela a kiss on the cheek.

(Ahh yeah, I forgot to comment on Nightshade but you're right about the discount.  I don't get why it's never been more than 20%, considering that the game is a couple of years old now, at least? O.O)

(Yup, that's what I meant. You'd think there would be a greater discount by now but nope. :/ Even in major sales like the Steam winter sale and summer sale, it's never more than 20%. :/)

Anjela blushed slightly and smiled lovingly at Matthew. The two of them continued basking in each other's love for the rest of the morning, healing by each other's presence and warmth. Although Anjela still had a lot of worries on her mind, she temporarily put them aside and let herself relax in Matthew's arms.

(Yeah, it's really weird.  It probably has to do with the dev/pub.  Like if it was a major one like Sekai or MangaGamer, there would probably have been a bigger discount by now but yeah.  :/)

Matthew felt himself relax with Anjela as well and he lovingly asked, "Feeling better?  I feel like I am.  Your presence is soothing."

(Yup, that's true. Oh well. I have a huge list of unplayed games and I don't even know when I will get to them so I can do without it for now. XD)

Anjela smiled lovingly at Matthew and nodding, she said, "I feel like I am better too. I love relaxing in your arms. Heh, your company is all I could ask for, Matt. You have a healing effect even without using your healing magic, you know."

(Well, I know that feeling.  XD)

Matthew blushed and replied, "And even though you have no healing magic, your presence has a healing effect on me."

He hugged Anjela and felt happy and at peace in her presence.

(Yup. XD)

Anjela smiled softly and the couple continued enjoying each other's presence. She then thoughtfully said, 

"Do you think it's safe now to go back to my apartment in Cephiron, once we're both better at least? Ian has been quite helpful so far but I don't want to trouble him further."

Matthew looked thoughtful and nodding, he replied, "Yeah, it should be.  We should recover well enough first before we make the trip back, though.  But you're right.  We shouldn't inconvenience Ian for too long.  I'm sure he'll want to go back to his nice, quiet life soon."

Anjela nodded and replied, 

"Yeah, that is what I was thinking. He's already been through enough trouble for us. But well, that doesn't mean I am any less angry at him. I asked him to keep you out of harm's way and he takes you right to the captain's mansion."

She frowned and took a breath angrily.

Matthew smiled apologetically at Anjela and replied, "Hey, it's ok.  I understand your anger but we were only thinking about you.  The important thing is that you're safe and we won't ever have to go to that horrible man's place again."

Anjela took a breath and smiling a bit at Matthew, she said,

"Yeah, you're right. It's just that I had a feeling that you weren't going to listen to me and you would still go after me so I wanted Ian to stop you. I didn't want you driving yourself into danger, even if that meant I wouldn't make it. I was only worried about you but you're right. At least we're both safe now."
