Romance RP

Matthew felt himself get closer to Anjela, too, and without realizing, he wrapped his arms around her, wanting to take in her warmth, spend every moment possible with her.

Helena smiled warmly at Nathan and replied, "I was so scared when I was taken away from you, but I knew you'd get me back.  I believed in you and I'm so happy to be back home with everyone.  I don't ever want to be apart again."

Anjela blushed as Matthew wrapped his arms around her but surprisingly, even to herself, she only got closer to him, buried herself into his arms and let his warmth engulf her. She murmured quietly, almost just talking to herself,

"If only, we were at another time, other circumstances..."

Nathan hugged Helena close to him and taking a deep breath, he said,

"I am so sorry, Helena. It was my fault but I promise you such a thing will never happen again. I will teach them all that they could never get close to you unless you allow it. I don't care what they do to me ever but you're my red line, my treasure that no one should touch."

Matthew nodded and quietly replied, "I know, Anjela, I know.  If only..."

He gazed deeply into Anjela's eyes and wondered what it would feel like if he broke that barrier between them, to get really close to her, to feel such love and warmth from her.

Helena replied, "You really are the best, my Nathan.  That woman was wrong to say horrible things about you.  I understand she was only worried about her mother but we never would have let her be harmed.  I have no idea how those two are related, to be honest."

Anjela gazed back into Matthew's eyes and for a moment, she just imagined what it would have been like if she just let go, if she decided to stay with him, to feel his warmth forever. If only...

But she gazed back sadly at him and shaking her head, she quietly said, "We'll never know because we're here, we're now. We can't stay together. I can't stay."

Nathan couldn't help but smile a bit and said, "Yeah, they are different. Lady Penelope was always nice and easy to deal with but her daughter is another story. She is rougher around the edges and won't hold back at anything to get to her goal."

Matthew nodded and sadly replied, "I know.  J-just let me enjoy this moment with you, Anjela.  Please."

He looked pleadingly at her, wanting to spend time with her, imagining what it would be like to pursue a romantic relationship with her.

Helena nodded and replied, "I saw that for myself.  It's really hard to believe they're mother and daughter.  People say that me and mom are so much alike-well, in personality, at least."

Anjela nodded and looking sadly back at Matthew, she quietly said,

"I want to enjoy it with you, too. Just for today. I-I want to get as much of your company as possible. To feel you close."

She cuddled close to him, just yearning for his warmth and closure, no more.

Nathan smiled softly and nodding, he said,

"I saw that. You're both are quite kind and generous. I am lucky to have gotten a wonderful family like that, you know."

Matthew smiled fondly at Anjela and just held her in his arms.  He gazed at her, wondering what he could do to persuade Anjela to let go, to try to have a life with him, not caring about anyone else.

Helena smiled and happily replied, "We're lucky, too, my Nathan, and you should think of my mom as your mom.  She'd like that.  And you guys liked her, too, right?"

She looked at Romeo, Fiona, and Mindy and Mindy meowed happily.

Anjela gazed back at Matthew with fondness but also uncertainty in her eyes. Why couldn't she just let go and give in to this warmth? She felt more for Matthew and she knew he felt the same way. But no. She just couldn't let go and Matthew deserved better. He deserved way better than the broken mess that she was.

But she could just enjoy the little time she had left with him.

She reached out to caress his cheek ever so gently and smiling sadly, she softly said, "This feels so wrong and quite right in the same time. Does that even make any sense?"

Fiona and Romeo also responded happily, answering positively. Nathan smiled softly and nodding, he said, "That would be my honor, love."

He wrapped his arms around Helena and kissed her forehead, holding her closely. He was glad she returned although that cost him his hostage and the only leverage he had against the others, but that didn't matter as long as Helena returned safely to him.

Matthew smiled sadly back at Anjela and replied, "Heh, I know what you mean.  If I could, I'd just hold onto this moment forever and spend it with you."

Indeed, Matthew didn't care about anyone or anything else except Anjela.

Helena smiled fondly, happy to be back with Nathan and her friends.  She never wanted to be apart from them ever again, and she felt happy and relaxed with all of them.

Anjela smiled a bit more although it was still a smile mixed with sadness and longing. She caressed Matthew's cheek fondly and softly replied,

"Me too. I want this moment to freeze and I could just have you forever. I don't want anyone else."

She gazed warmly at him, her eyes glowing with such warmth and fondness, almost love.

(Ahh I guess we can leave Nathan and Helena for now until something interesting happens on their side again? XD)

(Sure, that's fine.  XD)

Matthew reached out to gently touch, caress Anjela's cheek, and he said,

"I-I never felt this strongly for anyone before and I mean it."

Even Lycoris had never made him feel the way that Anjela did.

Anjela felt her cheeks warm and her heart beat fast at hearing Matthew's words. For a moment, it was as though she and Matthew were alone in the world and she would give up everything just to be with him. She quietly replied,

"And I...I never felt like this in a very long time. Matt, I..."

She almost said that she loved him but she trailed off, something holding her back, a fear that saying such a thing was meaningless when they would be broken apart very soon.

(Ahh I have the morning shift today instead of tomorrow so I'll post when I can and all. XD)

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Matthew had a guess as to how Anjela would have completed the sentence and he replied,

"Anjela, please, forgive me for what I'm about to do."

He closed his eyes and then leaned in to kiss her sweetly.

(Well, I figured this was bound to happen.  XD)

(Aww finally. XD This couple is one of a kind. They fell in love and they know it yet they don't say anything. XD)

Anjela was taken aback as Matthew leaned in to kiss her and she almost pulled away, wanting to tell him that no, this was wrong, they should stop. They weren't meant to be and they shouldn't try otherwise. 

But she couldn't. Her resolve weakened as she felt his love and giving in to the moment, she slowly returned the kiss, sweetly letting her emotions show through the gesture.

(Yup.  XD)

Matthew was surprised but happy as Anjela returned his kiss, and he knew that she felt just as strongly for him as he did for her.  He held her in his arms, savoring this moment, wanting it to last forever.

Anjela continued kissing Matthew sweetly, letting this warmth engulf her and wishing the moment could go on forever. She felt safe and secure when she was with him, and she had known for a while that she was falling in love with him. But where would this take them?

She suddenly stopped kissing him and pulled away. She slightly trembled and shaking her head, she sadly said, "What-what are we doing? Why-No, this-this is wrong. Please, let-let's stop. We got carried too far away."

Matthew looked sadly at Anjela and although he didn't want to stop, he wanted to respect her wishes, so he did.  He sadly said,

"I'm sorry, Anjela.  I-I got carried away."

Anjela broke away from Matthew and sat up in bed. She was silent for a moment then looking back sadly at him, she quietly said, 

"No, I-I am sorry. Matt, I...I feel the same towards you as you feel towards me, but there is no need to try at this any further. We-we can't go any further. I don't want you to get even more attached to me, or I attached to you. I know I already am."

Matthew sadly replied, "I-I understand but that's my choice to make, isn't it?  I want to be close to you, Anjela.  I already am and no force can ever stop the way I feel about you."

He hugged Anjela in his arms, as though he were holding onto dear life itself.

Although her mind told her to pull away and insist on getting away, her heart wouldn't let her. Anjela couldn't help but return the hug tightly, as though she would prevent a part of her soul from being ripped away. She smiled sadly and replied, 

"Silly. Why would you ever get attached to me, the broken mess that I am? I-I let myself get closer and closer to you and now..."

Her smile faded away and she only looked quite sad, wishing time was different, she was different.

Matthew replied, "I-I love you, Anjela.  What isn't there to adore about you?  You're the most wonderful, beautiful, loving woman ever.  All I want is to be with you."

He gazed sadly at her, gently stroking her cheek.

Anjela gazed back sadly at Matthew and she reached out to stroke his cheek gently too. She touched his forehead with his and in a broken voice, she quietly said,

"You-you're falling in love with the wrong person again. I-I...I want to be with you, too. With you is where I find safety, warmth, happiness that I've been deprived of for so long. But it won't be, Matt. So let's stop here before we hurt ourselves further. We can't be together."

Matthew didn't want to stop; he didn't want to let go of Anjela ever.  But seeing that Anjela was set on stopping things, he complied for now and replied,

"Ok, if that's what you want.  I'm sorry I was so forward."

(Getting sleepy so I'll go to bed now but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Anjela smiled a bit sadly and shaking her head, she said,

"There is no need to apologize. Thank you for...a short but a sweetest moment. I wish things were different, Matt. I really do."

She broke away from him, trying to compose herself before she would break down in his arms, tell him that she loved him too and that she just wanted him.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Me, too, Anjela, me, too."

His cheeks were flushed red and his eyes looked like they were going to tear up although Matthew was doing his best to stay calm.  Yet, all he wanted was Anjela, to live a full, happy life with her.
