Romance RP

Anjela lay back again on the bed and looking weakly at Matt, she murmured, "Don't-don't leave me for long."

Her eyelids fluttered and she was almost losing consciousness again, as her fever was still up and made her quite unstable.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yes, of course I did. Umm sorry I woke you up. I know you love it but I should have let you rest more."

Matthew gently laid Anjela back on the bed and placed the compress back on her forehead.  He said,

"Shh, you need to rest.  Let me take care of you.  I'll finish making breakfast and then bring it back here, ok?"

Alex shook his head and replied, "I don't mind.  I love being woken up by you and your kisses are the best, my angel."

His hand reached out to gently stroke Lycoris' cheek.

Anjela nodded sleepily but said nothing more, falling back into a light sleep. Although the usual Anjela would have shown more restraint, she was so worn out it made her much softer than usual.

Lycoris blushed even deeper and happily replied, "It's my pleasure to wake you like this anytime, Alex. I love kissing you too and being with you. I love anything that's got to do with you."

She giggled a bit at her comment.

After Anjela fell back asleep, Matthew went back to the kitchen to finish up breakfast for the two of them.  He made some delicious chicken soup and ladled it into two bowls.  He placed the bowls and spoons on a tray and then carried the tray into the bedroom, setting it on a nearby table.

Alex chuckled and replied, "And I love anything that has to do with you, my angel."

He looked out the window and added, "It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day."

As Matthew came into the room and set the tray on the table, Anjela woke up a bit. She looked sleepily at him although she didn't say anything, continuing to breathe heavily as the fever seemed to take its toll on her.

Lycoris smiled softly and said, "The weather had been very nice and cooperative lately. I hope it can stay that way."

She paused then asked, "We'll make it back to the vacation home after breakfast, right? I like it more there. It's quieter and more secluded."

Matthew looked worriedly at Anjela and carefully taking a bowl and spoon, he approached her.  He set the bowl on the dresser table next to the bed and said,

"Anjela, I'm going to feed you myself and then you should take some medicine to make the fever go down."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  We'll get ready first and then we can go out somewhere to have breakfast and then we can pick up our horse at the stables and head back."

Anjela moaned a little and turning her head slightly away, she replied weakly,

"I-I don't want to eat, Matt. I don't feel good..."

Lycoris smiled happily and replied, "That sounds great. I'll feel so happy to be back. I like our home there very much."

She cuddled a bit closer to Alex and shyly added, "Though I love it anywhere when I am with you. I can't believe I wake up every morning and find you by my side."

Matthew replied, "But you have to eat something.  You need your strength.  Today's the day and it may be difficult to handle taking the medicine if you don't eat something."

Alex blushed and replied, "And I love being anywhere with you, my angel.  I truly am the luckiest man to have the most loving, wonderful wife ever."

He leaned in to give Lycoris a sweet, loving kiss on the lips.

Anjela admitted that Matthew was right despite how much her body felt against eating. She had to force herself at least to take in a bit of food. She nodded weakly and slowly tried to sit up although even that was quite difficult, as her head felt quit heavy and dizzy and her whole body was quite sore.

Lycoris returned the kiss ever so sweetly and passionately, pouring all her love into it and giving Alex a loving good morning kiss. After the moment was eventually over, she was blushing and shyly said, 

"I love it when you kiss me."

Matthew helped Anjela to sit up comfortably in bed and then he got the bowl of soup, placed it in his lap, and began to feed Anjela himself.

Alex happily replied, "And I love kissing you always, my angel.  Waking up next to my angel every morning is like heaven."

Anjela would open her mouth and eat whenever Matthew fed her although she did so slowly, just trying to get any food into her body. As Matthew continued feeding her, she quietly said,

"Sorry. I've troubled you too much already."

Lycoris blushed even deeper and replied, "And waking up in your arms is everything I could ever wish for and more."

She gave him a soft kiss on the cheek then happily said, "Do we start the day? Will we go out for breakfast?"

Matthew shook his head and smiling softly, he replied, "You can never be any trouble to me, Anjela.  It's ok.  I'm going to look after you, we're going to get to that witch, and you're going to be all better."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  We should both get ready for the day and then we can drop by somewhere to have a yummy breakfast.  How does that sound?"

Anjela smiled a bit gratefully at Matthew but she didn't say anything. She continued eating for a bit more then halfway, she quietly said,

"Enough, Matt, please. I-I can't eat anymore."

She laid her head back and closed her eyes, breathing heavily.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "That sounds just wonderful. Let's start the day right away then."

She sat up and happily stretched her arms.

Matthew nodded and setting the bowl and spoon aside, he replied,

"Ok.  Let me make you another cold compress to keep the fever down and then you should take some medicine.  It'll alleviate the symptoms."

He got up and went to the kitchen to prepare another cold compress for Anjela.

Alex sat up as well and turning to Lycoris, he asked,

"Is it ok if I get ready first?  I won't take long and then I'll help you get ready, too."

Anjela waited as Matthew went to prepare another cold compress for her, fighting not to give in to her fatigue and stay conscious. She definitely felt worse than the day before and didn't get any better. She just hoped that she would last for that day, then they could get to the witch and she would be saved.

She still had a goal she hadn't fulfilled. And she didn't want to leave Matthew like that. So please, she wanted to last just another day.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Okay, I'll wait for you. Just don't take long, ok? I'll miss you."

Matthew soon returned, having prepared another cold compress.  He gently placed it on Anjela's forehead and said,

"Hopefully, that should bring your fever down."

Alex happily replied, "Awww don't you worry, my angel.  I won't be long."

He kissed Lycoris on her forehead and getting up, he grabbed his clothes for the day and went into the bathroom to shower and get dressed.

Anjela mustered a small nod and quietly mumbled a thanks. Her eyelids were half-closed but she still reached out to touch Matthew's hand, still needing his comfort.

Meanwhile, Lycoris got up and started making the bed as much as she could, tidying around the room.

Matthew gently held onto Anjela's hand, letting her seek his comfort for as long as she wanted.  There was no way he was going to lose Anjela, and he would do everything in his power to keep her alive.

Alex quickly finished his shower and after drying off, he got dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a white shirt.  Then he combed his hair and prepared a warm bubble bath for Lycoris, setting aside clean towels and a bathrobe.  Once he was done, he left the bathroom and put away his pajamas.  Happily approaching Lycoris, he said,

"I'm all done, my angel, and your bath is ready, too."

Anjela rested for a while more and her fever seemed to go down a little. She was quieter, half-asleep although her breathing was still heavy.

Opening her eyes a bit, she turned to Matthew and quietly said, "We should probably move, so-so we have enough time."

Lycoris smiled happily and said, 

"Okay, great. And you look as handsome as always, Alex. I mean, I can't see you but I am sure of it."

She grinned and waited for Alex to lead her to the bathroom.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, you're right."

He rummaged his bag and took out a couple of pills.  Handing them and a glass of water to Anjela, he said,

"Here, take this.  This should make your symptoms manageable.  I'll eat quickly and then we can get going."

He went to the table to quickly have his soup.

Alex smiled lovingly at Lycoris and escorted her into the bathroom.  Once the door was closed, he went about getting a dress and hair ribbons for Lycoris.

Anjela took the pills from Matthew and getting up, she swallowed them with a sip of water. She laid back again and looking at Matthew apologetically, she quietly said,

"Your soup must have gotten cold by now. Sorry."

Lycoris started taking her bath, getting ready for the day. Once she was done, she got out of the tub, dried herself and put on her bathrobe. She then opened the door a bit and called,

"Alex? I am done."

Matthew shook his head and replied, "It's ok.  It still tastes delicious and it'll fill me up, so that's what matters."

He quickly finished up his soup and once he was done, he said,

"I'll clean this up quickly and then we can get going, ok?"

Alex heard Lycoris call out for him and happily approaching her, he handed her a beautiful pink dress and said,

"Here's your dress, my Lycoris.  I'll get your hair done once you're ready."

Anjela nodded and replied, "Yeah, ok."

As Matthew went to take care of the clean up, she tried to get out of bed slowly. The pills and the compress had helped and she was feeling slightly better, but she was still too weak to get up on her own and felt quite dizzy.

Lycoris nodded happily and after closing the door, she changed out of her bathrobe and into the pink dress. She then opened the door again and said,

"I am all done, Alex."

Matthew quickly finished cleaning up the dishes and such.  Once he was done, he returned to the bedroom and saw Anjela try to get up.  He looked at her in worry and said,

"You can't walk, not in your condition."

He gently scooped up Anjela in his arms and made sure that he had all of their belongings secure on him, too.

Alex happily approached Lycoris and replied, "You look beautiful, my angel."

He gently held onto Lycoris' arm and escorted her to a dresser mirror.  There, he gently brushed her hair and then arranged it with the pink ribbon, making her look lovely and soft.  Then he said,

"There, you're all ready for the day."

Anjela admitted inwardly that Matthew was right but looking worriedly at him, she quietly said,

"I-I don't want you to push yourself. I can try to walk at least."

Lycoris smiled softly and reaching out to hold Alex's hand in hers, she said,

"Thanks, Alex. I love how you take care of me so. I love you."
