Romance RP

(Hmm I thought it was a problem with my internet but seems like it isn't. It's ok, no problem. It's probably a problem with the server or something.)

Lycoris had a soft smile on her face as Alex brushed her hair and arranged it with the ribbons. Once he was finished, she said, 

"Thanks, Alex. I know I always look my best thanks to you. I wouldn't want you to think there are other more beautiful women out there."

Anjela chuckled a bit then smiling gently at Matthew, she said, "Thanks for your concern but I can hold myself well too. You should know that by now."

Seeing how they were both done, she picked up their bowls and said, "I'll take care of the cleanup. I also want to get changed so I'll find a hidden spot between the trees. I won't take too long, ok?"

Nathan chuckled a bit more and said, "Sure, you can ask the chefs. It isn't a secret from you anymore, love. You're Lady Arundell now."

They continued eating, enjoying the food and company.

(Ok.  It seems fine for the moment but if it happens again, I may just get off early for the night.)

Alex blushed and replied, "Awww Lycoris, there is no woman out there who is more beautiful than you.  I have the best right here and I am the luckiest man ever."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure, that's fine.  I should probably get changed as well and put on the raincoat, just in case.  I'll clean up here, too."

Helena giggled happily and she continued to eat her breakfast, enjoying Nathan's, Romeo's, Fiona's, and Mindy's company.

(Ok, I understand. ^^)

Lycoris blushed in return and shyly replied, "You flatter me so much, Alex. I am honored to be the most beautiful to you."

She reached out to hug him around the waist lovingly.

Anjela nodded and replied, "Okay. I'll be right back."

She took her bag as well as the bowls then headed to the lake so she would clean the bowls up and get changed as well.

The party continued eating happily, enjoying the delicious meal. Nathan was soon all finished and he waited for the others to finish as well, with Romeo and Fiona finishing up soon afterwards.

Alex happily returned the hug and replied, "You really are the most beautiful woman.  I would never want anyone else when I already have the best."

Meanwhile, Matthew took a change of clothes and then went to a shady, secluded area to change and get dressed.  Once he was done, he returned to the campsite and cleaned up, making sure to pack all their belongings.

Helena and Mindy soon finished their breakfast, and Helena said, "That was so delicious and the company is even better."

She smiled lovingly at Nathan and the others.

Lycoris replied happily, "And I have the very best too. I love you, Alex."

She reached up to give him a loving kiss on the cheek, then happily said, "So what will we make for breakfast?"

Anjela cleaned up the bowls then after going into a hidden area as well, she changed out of her attire and into a beautiful dark red dress with long sleeves. She wore solid black stockings under it so her whole body was covered then brushed her hair, letting it flow down her shoulders and braiding a strand to the side.

Once she was done, she returned to the campsite and looking at Matthew, she said, "All done. I'll put away my things then we can go."

Nathan nodded happily and said, "I couldn't agree more."

He paused then said, "Okay, we should have your lesson for the day, love. We'll talk some stuff out once we're done. Ready?"

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Hmm, that's a good question.  How about french toast and maybe something else to go along with it?"

Matthew nodded and as he observed Anjela's attire, he smiled and said, "You look nice."

Helena nodded happily and replied, "I can't wait.  I wonder what my Nathan will teach me today."

She looked forward to her morning lesson.

(Getting sleepy so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Okay. How about we have sausages with french toast? And we can have milk with it. Would that be nice?"

Anjela blushed a bit at Matthew's comment, surprised by the compliment. She hadn't heard anyone complimenting how she looked in forever. As she put her things away, she replied, "Umm thanks. Well, we should get going now."

She had packed her things and seeing how Matthew was done, they started moving forward to go deeper into the forest.

Nathan chuckled and replied, "You'll see."

He got up and helped Helena up as well. He waited for her to pick up Romeo in her arms and he picked up Mindy, then holding Helena's arm, he led the way to the training room.

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Sure, that sounds perfect.  Let's go downstairs, my wife."

He held out his arm for Lycoris to take so he could escort them to the kitchen to make breakfast.

As Matthew walked with Anjela, he asked, "Ok, so what dangers in particular are we encountering today?"

He wanted to be as ready as possible.

As Helena and Nathan walked towards the training room, Helena looked at Fiona and Romeo and asked, "Are you guys looking forward to today's training?"

Lycoris held Alex's arm lovingly and followed him downstairs to the kitchen. There, she happily said, 

"I'll help you. What do you want me to do?"

Anjela looked thoughtful and replied, "The first thing that comes to mind are gorgons. They are strong monsters that can petrify a person that looks in their eyes, but humans are immune to that effect. You'll have an advantage over me there."

Romeo and Fiona looked happily at Helena and let out delightful sounds. Nathan chuckled and the party made it at the training room. After they put down their pets, Nathan looked at Helena and asked,

"Ready, love? We'll do a quick review of what you learned so far."

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "Ahh I know.  How about you help make the batter for the french toast?  I can gather the ingredients and put them in the mixing bowl and you can stir them.  How does that sound?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "I understand.  What do gorgons look like?  i can warn you right away to shut your eyes when we see one."

***************

Helena nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds great."

She readied herself and cast spell after spell, reviewing everything that Nathan had taught her up to that point.

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "Ok, sounds wonderful."

She waited for Alex to put the ingredients together for her so she could mix them.

Anjela nodded and said, "They are big monsters with a scary aura and their hair is made of snakes. Ugly creatures to say the least. No worries though-I won't let you fight on your own. But yeah, if at one point during the battle it locks its gaze on me, you'll have a minute to act. Otherwise, eh, I'll end up a statue and you'll continue the journey on your own."

Nathan observed as Helena cast a spell after the other. After she was done, he smiled fondly at her and said, 

"Terrific as always, love. You did very well.”

Alex smiled and he took out the mixing bowl, spoon, and ingredients to make the batter for french toast.  He put the ingredients into the bowl and handing Lycoris the spoon, he said,

"Here you are, my angel.  I'll fry the sausages in the meantime."

Matthew replied, "Yeah, I don't want to go the rest of the journey by myself but I got it.  You know, there may be a way to fight them without you having to see them.  Like if you were to close your eyes and I told you the direction of where they were, that might work?"

Helena smiled and replied, "thanks, Nathan.  I have the best teacher, after all, to thank for my progress."

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "Okay. I'll make sure the batter is ready by the time you're done."

She started mixing the ingredients together, making sure to do her best to mix them consistently.

Anjela looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, that might work. It might be the safest thing to do but we might not have a choice. I'll put my cloak on too if they show up. That will also provide some protection."

Nathan grinned and replied, "Thanks, love."

He paused then said, "Okay, let's start with this morning's lesson then."

He started showing Helena a new spell, making sure to be as detailed as possible and to demonstrate it to her properly.

(I hope it's ok I summarized it like that. I am out of ideas on spells or maybe it's because I just woke up and my mind is blank. XD)

Alex gave Lycoris a kiss on the cheek and then he took out the frying pan and the sausages and began to fry them.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok.  At least we have a plan.  Are these gorgons the only creatures we'll encounter today, that you know of?"

Helena watched carefully as Nathan explained and performed the new spell before her, making sure to remember as much as she could so she could try it out herself.

Lycoris continued mixing the ingredients quite well, making sure that they made a consistent batter. Once that was all finished, she said, 

"I'm done, Alex. Have you fried the sausages?"

Anjela looked thoughtful again then said, "These are the ones I remember at the moment. Oh and I remember there were those spider-like monsters. They were huge and their webs was the most annoying thing about them. The webs can't be cut by a sharp object, but it melts by fire so I guess that's a good thing. Your sword will help you once you turn it into a fire sword."

Once Nathan explained and demonstrated everything about the new spell to Helena, he looked at her and said, "Okay, give it a try now. Just concentrate and you'll get it easily."

Alex was plating the fried sausages onto two plates and said,

"Yup, just finished."

He walked over to Lycoris and looked in the bowl.  Nodding in satisfaction, he added, "Yup, the batter looks perfect.  I'll take the bread out."

He reached for the breadbox and took out a loaf of bread that had already been sliced.  He then asked, "Do you want to dip the pieces of bread into the batter and put them into the pan, Lycoris?  I should get the pan ready meanwhile."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok.  Umm, are we going to encounter any caves today?"

He hoped that they wouldn't have to encounter caves like the ones they had faced.

Helena nodded and took a deep breath.  She then performed the spell, exactly as Nathan had instructed her.  She focused all of her concentration, making sure not to miss a step.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I'd love to do that. Just show me where the pieces of bread are and where the pan is placed and I'll take care of it."

She grinned happily, glad to be of help.

Anjela sighed a bit and looking tentatively at Matthew, she said, "Well, I told you they are five forests and five caves. So yes, there is another cave. I don't remember there was anything special about it though. Just progressing, and whatever monsters that show up. So at least no mind-messing stuff this time."

Nathan nodded in approval as Helena performed the spell and he would note to her any mistakes she made and how to fix them. He wanted Helena to cast every spell perfectly and without faults.

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Ok.  Let me just get the pan ready."

He took out another pan and placed it on the stove.  Then he took out some butter and placed it on the pan, coating it surface.  Once he was done, he moved the bowl of batter and the loaf of bread next to the pan.  Then he escorted Lycoris in front of the stove and guiding her hands, he showed her where the bread and batter were and motioned her where to place the dipped bread in the pan.  He then said,

"I'll watch and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Matthew replied, "That's good.  I mean, I don't want to deal with any more caves like the ones we encountered before.  Can you blame me?"

Helena made corrections as Nathan pointed out flaws in her spell casting and she continued to practice until the spells were cast perfectly.

(No problem. ^^)

Lycoris nodded in understanding as Alex showed her where the batter and bread were and carefully, she would take a slice of bread, dip it into the batter then place it into the pan. She did so smoothly, being carefully to put everything in place.

Anjela smiled a bit and shaking her head, she said, "Definitely not. I wouldn't want to deal with anything similar either. I'd rather face as many monsters as this place makes us encounter than face anything like those caves again."

Nathan nodded in approval as Helena cast the spell and smiling at her, he said, "That was perfect. Well done, love."

After Lycoris finished putting all the dipped bread slices into the pan, Alex smiled at her and said, "You did wonderfully, Lycoris.  I'll take care of cooking the french toast.  Do you want to wash your hands?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yeah, same here."

He took a breath, feeling a little grateful that the dangers they would face today would be the usual sort.

Helena smiled and replied, "Thanks, Nathan.  I have the best teacher ever.  And, umm, am I the best student ever?"

She looked a little slyly at Nathan.

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "Yes, please. That was fun."

She followed Alex to the sink so she could wash her hands and clean them up.

Anjela smirked a bit and deciding to tease Matthew a little, she said, 

"Heh, you should have stronger nerves. You're definitely strong physically but you aren't too soft-hearted now, are you?"

Nathan looked back slyly at Helena and replied, "Heh, maybe. But I have pretty difficult standards, you know. Do you think you are my best student ever?"

Alex escorted Lycoris to the sink and got the water running so she could wash her hands.  Then he went ahead and cooked the french toast, cooking both sides so they would be a nice golden brown.

Matthew groaned and replied, "Ehh, I don't like things that mess with the head.  I'm not one of those doctors, after all.  I prefer a physical fight and all that."

Helena pouted cutely and replied, "So is there a better student than me out there?  If there is, I'll challenge him or her."

Lycoris dried her hands while Alex cooked the french toast. She smiled and commented, "The food smells wonderful. I can't wait to eat. We make a very good team, don't we?"

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows curiously at Matthew and replied, "What do you mean, one of those doctors? Are there doctors in the human world that do things that mess with the head?"

She looked a bit disturbed at the thought.

Nathan chuckled and continuing to look slyly at Helena and said, "Maybe. I am not easily impressed although you impress me at anything, love. Perhaps you are my best student after all."

Alex grinned and replied, "Yup, we sure do, my angel.  We both did wonderfully and the french toast is just about done."

He finished cooking the french toast and plated it.  Then he carried both plates to the table and helped Lycoris into her seat while he got out utensils and milk.

Matthew replied, "Ahh there are doctors that specialize in helping patients who aren't physically ill but rather mentally ill.  They teach them how to cope with their illnesses and get stronger."

Helena giggled and replied, "Now that's more like it, and as your best student, shouldn't I get a reward?"

She smiled sweetly at Nathan.

Lycoris waited until Alex got out the utensils and milk and after he had taken his seat as well, Lycoris happily said, "Let's eat. The smell is making me really hungry."

She took a bite of her french toast and grinning happily, she said, "Yum. It's really delicious."

Anjela nodded and replied, "You mean psychiatrists. Yeah, I know them. We have these too."

She suddenly became quiet, as though she was reminded of something she didn't want to recall.

Nathan chuckled more then looking fondly at Helena, he said, "Most definitely."

He approached her then drawing her closer to him, he leaned in to give her a sweet, loving kiss.
