Romance RP

(Ahh I am going to work tomorrow on my usual time so I'll post a bit then before I head off and all. XD)

Lycoris smiled happily, glad that Matthew liked her idea. She replied, 

"Wouldn't it? I guess some people might refuse the idea and would rather keep their experience to themselves but I was sure you are not like that. And I am pretty sure a lot of students wold benefit from your studies and work."

(Coolies.  I'll be here then.  ^^)

Matthew smiled at Lycoris and replied, "Yes, you're right.  I'll look into it.  Right now, I am happy being a doctor and treating patients but yes, becoming a teacher would be wonderful, too."

(I am here. XD)

Lycoris nodded and the couple continued spending their time in the gardens, enjoying its beauty and the wonderful smell of the flowers. Still, in the back of her mind, Lycoris couldn't help but worry about the whole situation and couldn't be completely carefree.

(Nice.  ^^)

As Matthew and Lycoris were in the gardens, Matthew asked,

"Do you like being here?  Well, I mean, among the flowers and nature?"

Lycoris smiled a little and nodding, she replied,

"Of course. There is no other place that could be more beautiful than nature. The fresh air is enough to give one new energy, right?"

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yes, that's true."

He looked kindly at Lycoris and added, "It's enough that you're happy.  If you're happy, then I am, too."

Lycoris blushed deeply and didn't know how to reply for a moment, touched by Matthew's words. After a moment, she smiled a bit and said, 

"Thank you, Matthew. I truly appreciate everything you go through for my sake."

Matthew smiled back at Lycoris and replied, "You're worth it always.  You're a very special person and don't let anyone ever tell you anything else, ok?"

(Ahh yeah, I forgot to mention this but Folke got a new job and he just started this week.  Basically, this means that I should be online more now although my work schedule will pretty much still be the same.  XD)

(Ahh coolies. XD Good luck on his new job. ^^)

Lycoris nodded and the smile was still on her face, truly grateful for everything Matthew said and did for her. She said, 

"You deserve all the good in the world too, Matthew. You're truly a wonderful person, kind and sincere. I am lucky to have known you."

Matthew blushed and replied, "I feel like the lucky one, having gotten to know you."

He smiled at her, just enjoying being in the moment.

Lycoris blushed a little more but didn't say anything, just smiling and enjoying the surroundings and Matthew's company. She wished that things could always be this peaceful.

As Matthew and Lycoris continued to enjoy the garden, Matthew wished, too, that things could always be so peaceful.  He wondered how things ever became so complicated.

(I didn't have work tonight although it'll be tomorrow.  But it'll be in my morning so I should be able to post again like usual.  ^^)

(Sorry I wasn't here today. We went out for the day and all so I had no time to post. I will make up for it tomorrow, I hope. :/)

The rest of the afternoon passed peacefully for the couple as they continued to enjoy their time. Meanwhile, Nerine had baked the cookies Alex had requested, and they were all ready. She only put them in serving plates and bowls and decided to let them cool so everyone could have a share after dinner.

(No problem.  I'll be going out for work later today so I might get back here late in posting.  ^^)

Alex looked on proudly as Nerine set up the cookies and he commented,

"They look absolutely delicious and you made quite a variety."

Nerine smiled happily to Alex and replied, 

"Thanks, Alex. I waould like for everyone to take plenty. I only hope it tastes as good as it looks."

Alex replied a little teasingly, "Well, if you'd like, I could try one now to be sure although I already know that they're going to taste absolutely yummy."

Nerine giggled happily and replied, "Well, if it's just you and it's going to be just one, I don't mind. I want my Alex's opinion after all."

(Sorry I haven't been posting regularly. I had a major fight with my mom the other day and yeah, although things are better now, I am not 100% well yet. I'll try to post whenever I can though. :/)

(Awww I'm sorry about that.  It's ok.  Just take care of yourself first before anything else.  :/)

Alex cheered and happily, he reached out for a cookie.  Taking a bite and swallowing, he then said,

"Yum, I was right.  This is absolutely delicious!"

Nerine giggled happily and looking fondly at Alex, she replied,

"Well, if my Alex says that my cookies are delicious, then that's all I need to hear. No one else matters as long you're here."

Alex blushed and replied, "Awww, my darling is incredibly sweet, definitely sweeter than these cookies."

He smiled fondly and happily at her.

Nerine blushed a little but she continued to look fondly at Alex. She said,

"I can't wait until we're back home and it's all peaceful again. Then I can cook you as much food as you like. I miss cooking for you and having you adore my makings."

Alex nodded and replied, "I've missed the peace and quiet, too, darling.  I've had more than enough excitement to last a lifetime."

He looked at the cookies and then added, "I'm sure everyone else will enjoy the cookies, too."

Nerine nodded happily and said, 

"I hope so. I'll have them ready so everyone can have a share right after dinner and they will have cooled down by then."

She made the cookies' plate all ready and set it aside so that it can be served right after dinner. She felt light-headed all of a sudden though and reached out for a chair to sit down, as she felt herself getting dizzy suddenly.

Alex immediately rushed to Nerine's side as he noticed her condition.  Looking at her with worry, he asked,

"Darling, are you all right?  Perhaps you should rest for a while."

Nerine took her breathes but smiling a little to Alex so she wouldn't worry him, she said,

"I am fine, don't worry. I just felt light-headed for a moment there. It was just a little sudden so I felt like I had to sit. I feel fine though-just a bit tired."
