Romance RP

(Ahh I am mostly new to these games but if you find that the other games you don't have will be fun to play, then yup, go for it. XD)

Lycoris was silent for a moment then with a serious expression, she replied,

"I know that your feelings for me are real. I just don't trust Lady Penelope. She might be lying that such a thing even exists. And even if it does," she paused for a moment then continued,

"I must love you with all of me, right? The other Lycoris doesn't have such feelings for you, Matthew."

(Ok, thanks.  XD)

Matthew was saddened to hear that the other Lycoris, the one he first met, didn't feel the same about him and he replied,

"I-I see.  Why?  Is there something wrong with me?"

Lycoris could hear the sadness in Matthew's voice and she felt saddened herself, as she felt that she, the other personality, wasn't enough for him. Had he fallen in love with her, or was it the real one he loved all along?

Keeping her disappointment inside, she replied,

"No, but she doesn't see you in that light. I guess she views you more as a friend, or a brother? Or maybe she's so focused on sacrificing herself that she doesn't want to think of falling in love."

She paused then said, "No, it's none of that. She still has feelings for Alex. Her heart is still yearning for him."

Matthew nodded and replied, "I see.  Is it because Alex is her first love?  She can't let go of him?"

He felt saddened because he had hoped that both Lycoris would love him and so he could save them.

Lycoris nodded and replied,

"I guess. He still has a very special place in her heart despite everything he did. Even though he was the cause of a lot of pain to her, she still loves him."

Matthew replied, "I-I see.  So he may be the only one who can save her."

He sighed sadly, as he had wished that the Lycoris he had first known would have fallen for him.

(I'll get off for the night now.  Going to take care of a couple of things before I go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris turned her head away and replied, 

"And even he may not be able to do that. I mean, I doubt Alex still has any feelings for her. His whole attention is for Nerine now."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yeah."

He looked at Lycoris and said, "Hey, I hope you don't think that I don't love you because I'm asking about all of this.  I guess that miracle can't happen, but that doesn't lessen my feelings for you."

Lycoris kept her head away and replied, 

"Maybe but...I want to ask. Do you love me as I am, because of what I am, or is it only because I am a part of the Lycoris you originally love?"

Matthew was surprised by Lycoris' question but he replied, "Hey, you are a part of the Lycoris I fell for but I love you for yourself.  You're fun to be around, you're warm, you're wonderful.  I see you as the most beautiful woman ever-the one I see before me right now."

(I'll be gaming so I may be really slow since the game I'm playing can only be played in full screen mode.  XD)

(No problem. ^^)

Lycoris blushed a little but she didn't say anything for a moment before she asked, "Do you know why I gave her back control in the morning?"

She paused then answering herself, she said, "I wanted to see if you'll miss me. If my presence mattered to you or if you were okay with any Lycoris."

Matthew replied, "Well, you know, I was disappointed when you didn't wake up in my arms this morning.  I missed having you around.  I just couldn't tell her that.  She would have been sad."

(Man, this relationship that Matthew has going on with Lycoris is so complicated.  XD)

(Yup, it definitely is. XD)

Lycoris looked a little hopeful for a moment but quickly containing herself, she said, 

"Well, I know you can't tell her that but at least you felt it? You actually missed having me around?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "I did.  It just didn't feel the same without you.  Does that make sense?"

(You know, I wonder.  For that miracle to happen, would both Alex and Matthew have to declare their love to Lycoris?  Gosh, that would be complicated.  XD)

(Ahh yes, if Matthew loves this personality of Lycoris and Alex still loves the other one deeply, the miracle can still happen although yup, this is pretty complicated. XD)

Lycoris pouted a little and replied, "Then why does it matter to you that the other Lycoris loves you as well? Is my love not enough for you?"

(Ahh I see.  XD)

Matthew replied, "Of course it is.  It's just that we can't use that miracle now to save the devils' world.  I'm disappointed about that but I want you to live, Lycoris.  I want you to have a full, happy life."

Lycoris replied immediately, 

"We don't need that miracle then. Whoever said that it was obligatory that I give my powers to that shapeshifter? We can just run away, me and you. We don't owe them anything."

Matthew couldn't help but chuckle and he replied, "You sure are the adventurous one, aren't you?  But I suppose that is one of the many qualities I love about you."

(I'll go ahead and get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris blushed a little but pouting cutely, she said, 

"I am not joking, you know. I am completely serious about what I said."

Matthew nodded and replied, "I know.  If the worst happens, then we'll run away, ok?"

He wrapped his arms around Lycoris in a loving hug.

Lycoris returned the hug and after a moment of silence, she said,

"So what are you going to do? Lady Penelope and the shapeshifter won't stop nagging to take away the powers."

Matthew replied, "Well, I think the shapeshifter won't but Lady Penelope could be made to listen to reason.  She did agree to talk to her daughter and postpone things for now.  Listen, if we absolutely have to, we can go to the king and queen and ask for their protection.  We'd be safe at the castle."

Lycoris nodded and replied, 

"Lisianthus and Ryan are there too, aren't they? We can contact them for help. Lisianthus doesn't want me to give up my powers and she will be more than willing to help. We can even go to the gods' world and be safer there."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's right.  So we do have options."

He hugged Lycoris and said, "For just a few minutes, I want to enjoy this time with you, just us."

Lycoris laid her head on Matthew's head and smiling, she said, 

"You're right. We can have a little quiet to ourselves. Just me and you."
