Romance RP

Lycoris rolled her eyes and replied, "I suppose the part that we two are different in personality and preferences, but definitely not the part that we are completely separate. I am only a side of who she is. Whether she likes or not, I am a part of her, and what I am was created from her. She can't deny that."

Steve nodded and jotted down some notes.  Then he asked, "If you could talk to her, what would you want to tell her?  What would you want her to understand about you?"

Lycoris replied impatiently, 

"Nothing. I don't expect her to understand anything and I don't want her to. She's too stupid and pathetic to understand anything and all she wants is to run away from her problems. If that's what she wants, then fine. Let her stay locked inside."

Steve replied, "So you think that's what she's doing?  What makes you say so?  And have you tried telling her yourself?"

Lycoris was becoming more impatient but she replied, "Yes, that's what I think and yes, I've tried telling her that myself and no, things didn't work out. Now what's the end of all of this? Are you going to give me some sort of medicine to make me disappear?"

Steve nodded and replied, "I can but I'm not going to do that.  That wouldn't be solving anything.  I think I have enough to give both of you what I believe would solve things and you might be pleasantly surprised."

Matthew looked at Steve curiously, wondering what he was about to say.

(Ok, I have to take care of a couple of things now before I go to sleep so I'll get off here for the night but I'll be back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris raised an eyebrow, wondering what Steve meant as well, so she replied,

"And what is that?"

Steve took a deep breath and then said, "Before I tell you, are both of you listening?  Because both of you need to hear what I'm about to say.  It's very important and it'll help the both of you."

Lycoris bit her lower lip and after a moment of silence, she replied impatiently, 

"Yes, she is listening now. You can say what you want to tell us."

Steve nodded and then said, "Ok, first, I will say that your situation is very complicated but here's what I gather.  You two are the same and yet different.  I believe that you were both one until that incident happened and then slowly another personality, the one I see before me, emerged.  She is not a separate entity.  She is just a different side, just as we all have different sides even though we may not admit it."

He paused, letting both sides of Lycoris take in his words.

Lycoris rolled her eyes then replied, "Stating the obvious, aren't you? Yes. Now what do you want to say?"

She paused then her expression softening, she said, "But-but that can't be true. Why are you all so persistent that this is a side of me? I-I can't be that bad inside."

Steve replied, "I never said that."

Matthew added, "And you're not bad, Lycoris.  I've never thought of you otherwise."

Steve then said, "We all have hidden desires inside, those we don't openly admit to others.  There's nothing wrong with that."

(A bit of a heads up but I'm in a bit of an annoyed mood at the moment.  I was playing the Dracula game you gifted me on my birthday and I encountered a major bug that doesn't let me continue.  I contacted the devs but I'm not exactly hopeful that they'll fix it soon.  It seems that others have reported a similar bug in the past although they weren't too specific.  I was more specific in finding bug so maybe that might make a different but yeah, just letting you know.  :/)

(Aww I see. :/ I am sorry about that. I hope the devs at least look into the matter and see if it's possible to fix the problem. :/)

Lycoris' soft expression faded away and she impatiently said, "Ignore her, ok? Now can you please just tell us what your idea is?"

(Well, I posted on the dev's Steam page and they say that they're working on fixing it but I don't know.  :/  Anyway, at least I finally got around to changing my Steam profile although I'm going to be stuck on what to play in the meantime.)

Steve replied, "Well, what I believe what you two should do is acknowledge each other, not treat the other as an enemy.  Let go of any preconceived ideas that you may have about the other and embrace each other like sisters.  You two are the same, just different sides of the coin."

(Well, I hope you can figure out something soon. ^^)

Lycoris rolled her eyes and replied, "That's it? Well, you didn't solve anything. We two are about different on everything, so there isn't really a way for us to reconcile and make up."

Her expression softening, she quietly added, "If only my other side was more understanding, but she only wants things her way."

(I hope so, too.)

Steve sighed and replied, "You two need to talk things out, come to some sort of middle ground.  Surely, you can both do that, can't you?"

Matthew looked to Lycoris and said, "I believe in you both.  I have faith in you."

Lycoris' soft expression faded away and annoyance starting to become more clear in her voice, she said, 

"Okay then. If that's all you offer us as a solution, I suppose we can go?"

Although the real Lycoris was more willing to talk to Steve, the other one wasn't, and was clearly annoyed by merely his presence.

(Ahh I'll have to log off now, unfortunately. My mom wants me to go out with her somewhere and yeah, I can't say no. :/ I'll post again when I make it back. See you tomorrow, phoenix. ^^)

Steve replied, "Tell me what you want.  I do want to hear both of you out.  I think it's important for both of you to become whole and I want to help."

Matthew looked worried, as it appeared that the other Lycoris was being more resistant.

Lycoris groaned to herself but she replied,

"I don't think you can. After all, we're differing on a life or death matter. She wants to give our life up, and I don't want to die in the process. Can you find a solution for that?"

Steve replied, "Talk to each other or communicate with each other.  Help the other to understand how you're feeling.  It is both your lives here, after all."

Lycoris was definitely becoming impatient and not hiding it, she replied, 

"Whatever. If that's all you have to say, can I go?"

She reached to Matthew's hand and pressed on it, as though she was asking him to get her out of there.

Matthew felt Lycoris squeeze his hand and getting the message, he turned to Steve and asked,

"How about we all take a break for now?  We can resume this later if you want."

Steve sighed and replied, "If that is what everyone would wish."

The shapeshifter got up and speaking up, she said, 

"Can we head back to my room? I want to speak to both of you alone."

She was addressing Matthew and Lycoris, but the latter replied, "No. I have nothing to say to you or talk to you about. Please get us out of here, Matthew."

Matthew looked conflicted, not knowing what to do.  He took a moment and then looking to the shapeshifter, he replied,

"Perhaps we can meet up a little later?  I think Lycoris could use the break for now."

Although the shapeshifter wasn't too pleased, she knew it wouldn't be a good idea to push this Lycoris. So after a moment of silence, she replied, 

"Fine. But we'll talk later."
