Romance RP

Nerine nodded happily and replied, "That's true but it's only so because you're here with me, Alex. You make all my days and nights happy and pleasant, you know."

Alex blushed happily upon hearing Nerine's comment and replied, "And you make all my days and nights shine that much more, my darling."

Meanwhile, Matthew looked to the others and asked, "Are there any particular areas in the park you wish to explore?"

Lady Penelope replied curiously,

"What are the areas of the park? I mean, are there special areas for activities and such or is it mostly greenery and places to sit?"

Matthew replied, "It's mostly the latter, my lady.  Some areas are more open and have benches to sit on while other areas are more shaded by trees."

Lady Penelope nodded in understanding and replied,

"I see. Are there special areas for certain plants or flowers and such? I'd like to know more about the humans' world's plants."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Oh yes, there is.  Let me take you there and I'll describe the flowers that are specially planted here in the park."

He led the party to a certain section of the park.

The party followed Matthew to that certain section of the park and as they made it there, Lady Penelope happily looked around and said,

"Wow, this is breathtaking. These are some of the most beautiful flowers I've seen. What are they called, darling?"

Matthew pointed out the various flowers and then said the names of them, as they were flowers especially planted to thrive in the human world.  He described how they looked to Lycoris and guided her hands so that she could touch them.

Lycoris happily touched and smelled the flowers, enjoying their aroma. She happily commented,

"I can tell there are a lot of beautiful plants here and they all smell wonderful."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, there are and the flowers are regularly taken care of and maintained by the people who are in charge of looking after the park."

He looked to Lady Penelope and said, "I assume that's the same for the parks in the gods world, too."

(Sorry for the delay. I was having lunch and all. ^^)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "Yes although most of the work is done by magic there. But of course, there are sorcerers who check that magic and that it's functioning correctly to keep the park in order and always in best shape."

(No worries.  I'm going to sleep after I make this post but I'll post this now.  XD)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Ahh yes, I see.  That makes sense.  It's great that there are people who take care of parks and make sure that they continue to be well cared for and beautiful for everyone to enjoy."

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "And parks are free to enter and enjoy time around so even poor people can visit them and have fun."

The party continued enjoying their time around the park although Lycoris was starting to feel a bit tired and her head hurt, as her other personality was running out of patience especially that Matthew didn't seem to make any moves.

Matthew nodded happily and was about to reply when he looked at Lycoris and worrying about her, he gently asked,

"Hey, are you ok?  Do you want to rest a bit?"

Although Lycoris didn't feel quite ok, she didn't want to worry everyone else. So smiling a bit, she said,

"I'll be ok. My head is acting up a bit, like this headache forming but I can bear it. I don't want to spoil the evening for everyone else so I'll manage."

(I got your PM and it's ok.  I know it's finals time for uni students and all so I understand.  We can just post when we can until you're all free.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "All right, if you're sure."

However, he couldn't help but inwardly worry about Lycoris and he glanced at Lady Penelope, as though he wanted to let her know what was happening with Lycoris.

Lady Penelope noticed Matthew's look and as though she understood he wanted to tell her something, she decided to contact him telepathically and said,

Darling, is something the matter?

Matthew heard Lady Penelope communicate to him telepathically and so he replied,

Lycoris looks tired although she says that she's fine.  I'm a little worried that her other self could be trying to come out again.  I mean, I haven't been able to make progress with persuading Lycoris to get her eyesight back but I haven't wanted to push the issue.

Lady Penelope looked a little worried and after a moment of silence, she replied,

Perhaps her other self isn't trying to come out again, but she is indirectly sending you a message that she is getting impatient or something? In any case, it looks like we need to work on that elixir as soon as possible.

Matthew replied,

Yes, you're right, my lady.  Perhaps after we get back, while Olivia helps Lycoris get ready for sleep, we and your daughter can come up with making that elixir.

Lady Penelope replied,

Yes, that sounds good. You look out for Lycoris meanwhile, ok? I pray that her other personality doesn't make an appearance. We don't know what she might try to do.

Matthew replied,

Yes, you're right about that.  Then we'll all reconvene later after we return to the house.


He then focused his attention back on Lycoris, describing the park's surroundings and atmosphere to her.

(Sorry I am not posting that often. I am still battling with time on my side and all. D=)

Lycoris continued to listen to Matthew as he described the surroundings to her, trying to forget her headache and enjoy her time although it was difficult to do so.

She smiled softly and asked, "Do you come here often, Matt?"

(Awww it's ok.  You take care of what you need to do.  ^^)

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "Not as often as I should but it is a beautiful and relaxing place to visit."

Alex added, "The park is wonderful, isn't it?  Especially at this time."

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ I had my first exam today although I didn't really do well despite how hard I prepared and all. :/ Oh well. I have a chance to post now so I am taking advantage of it. XD)

The chancellor nodded in agreement and replied, "Although it isn't magical, this park sure has a lot of beautiful plants and flowers which gives it such a comfortable atmosphere." 

Lycoris nodded and happily said, "Totally. I can really feel it. Being here brings a feeling of peace."
