Lisianthus smiled softly to the maid and replied, "Thanks, miss. We appreciate it."

After the maid left, she looked to Bryan and Rosaline and said, "I guess we'll see each other later then? We can rest for a bit now."

The chancellor and Lady Penelope glanced at each other as they noticed how Matthew looked at Lycoris, with a small smile. Lycoris didn't see anything however and smiling softly, she said,

"I think you'd be the kindest king ever, Matt. A caring king who does the best for his people and also treats the injured and the sickly. You'd be loved by everyone."

(Ahh I am not sure if I will be able to post again later since yeah, the problems at my home aren't calming down and it's getting messy again. So yeah, if I don't post again later, it's because of that and all.)

(Awww I'm sorry about that, Love.  You just take it easy and do what you want to do to destress and all.   )

Bryan nodded and replied, "Sure.  We should settle in and get some rest and then we can go down to have lunch when one of the maids calls for us."

Matthew blushed and replied, "Awww thanks, Lycoris.  I never really thought about ruling but if I ever did become one, I'd do my best to treat everyone fairly and kindly, like our king and queen here."

(Thanks, phoenix. I try although I haven't had the chance to do so recently. Things are full of tension here and it's pretty stressful, to the say the least. :/)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Ok then. See you later, you two."

She then led the way into her and Ryan's room to get some rest before lunch time."

Lycoris replied happily, "Yes, I can imagine it."

Lady Penelope giggled and looking slyly at Matthew, she said, "Well, you should definitely start looking for that suitable lady. Personally, I can't wait to meet her."

(I see.  :/)

Ryan followed Lisianthus into their room while Bryan escorted Rosaline into theirs.  Ryan turned to Lisianthus and said,

"It's nice that the king and queen have granted us to stay here."

Matthew blushed deeply and whispered, "I think I've already found her."

Lisianthus smiled a bit and nodding, she said,

"It is. They were quite friendly and generous with us and I truly appreciate that. I truly hope that our stay here won't continue for long. I don't wish to burden them and I have my kingdom to come back to."

She paused then said, "Let's unpack then we can relax before it's lunchtime. I could use some rest."

Although the chancellor and Lady Penelope didn't hear what Matthew whispered, Lycoris did and she was curious. However, she wouldn't ask Matthew right there and then.

The chancellor smiled softly and commented on Lady Penelope's comment, "I am sure he'll find a wonderful lady soon enough. He is nothing short of an admirable man himself."

(I'll be going to work soon but I'll make this post before I do.  ^^)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, that sounds good to me."

He took his bag and began to unpack his things.

Matthew blushed deeper and replied, "Aww thank you."

He paused and then added, "If I do become king, I would like it if you two would help me.  I could use all the help I can get to run the kingdom well."

(Ok. ^^)

Lisianthus approached her bag and started unpacking it as well, putting away her clothes and things in the closet. As she did, she said,

"It sure feels like a strange staying at a castle that isn't my own. I mean, I used to stay at the devils' castle years ago when I was young and all but it's different now."

The chancellor and Lady Penelope looked surprised to hear what Matthew said but then the chancellor smiled and said,

"It's quite noble of you to make such an offer, sir, and I think we can both think of it then. As we have no life to look forward to in the gods' world anymore, perhaps starting a new life here is a good idea."

(Just got back from work but I'm checking on things so I'll make this post now and then post again when I'm free.  ^^)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, I understand.  We are guests here.  I guess we could have stayed at my place or Bryan's instead but this is the safest place for now."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true and your experiences would help."

He looked to Lady Penelope and added, "Your daughter would be welcome, too, of course."

(Ahh ok. I was taking care of some house chores but I am free now. ^^)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Yeah, I guess that's the case."

She was soon all finished unpacking and put away her bag in the closet then waited for Ryan to be done as well.

Lady Penelope smiled gratefully and replied, "Aww darling, that's so nice of you to say. I will definitely keep that in mind and I am sure my daughter wouldn't mind either. Although I have to warn you that I know nothing about ruling a kingdom or running things. I am only a powerful light magic user and teacher but I don't know much else."

She giggled softly.

(Ahh no worries.  I'm free now, too, although if my posts are suddenly slow, I think you'll know the reason.  XD)

Ryan soon finished unpacking his things as well and seeing that Lisianthus was done, he said,

"Let's relax for a bit before we have lunch."

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "Awww that's not a problem.  I'd really like to have you for your counsel and wisdom, if nothing else.  You could serve as a sorceress at court.  There are always a few in every human kingdom."

(No problem. XD)

Lisianthus nodded and replied stretching her arms, she replied, "Yeah, I could use some rest."

She went to the bed and laid down then waited for Ryan to join her.

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "That sounds great and you know, I would love if I could teach people here more magic. It would be wonderful if more people were to use magic around here, you know."

Ryan laid down beside Lisianthus and wrapped his arms around her, relaxing happily beside her.

Matthew nodded and replied, "That would be a great idea.  It'd be great to open up a magic school here."

Lisianthus cuddled close to Ryan and smiling, she said, "I can only have a little peace of mind in moments like these when I am with you, cutie. I don't know what I would have done if you weren't here."

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "And I would put all my efforts into it."

Lycoris couldn't help but giggle happily and commented, "Matt, you really like the idea of becoming king, huh? I can see you planning so far already."

Ryan replied, "I'll always be with you, beautiful.  I'm glad I get this chance to be with you despite the circumstances."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Awww not really.  I was just entertaining the idea really."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'm sorry I didn't post much today.  I'll try to do so more tomorrow since I won't have work because of the Lunar New Year holidays here.  Anyway, nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus smiled softly and replied,

"Me too. Moments like these are what keep me sane, you know. Things are so stressful otherwise. I really want everything to end soon."

Lycoris giggled happily and replied,

"Aww but it's a possibility, you know. If the king and queen didn't find anyone to accept their position after a long time, they might offer it to you, right? You're a nobleman after all. You should just find yourself a beautiful queen."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Me, too, beautiful.  Now that we're here, the search can be conducted more thoroughly and we'll find the others soon enough."

Matthew blushed and replied, "Awww she doesn't have to be beautiful although perhaps on the inside, she should be.  She should be kind, sweet, pure, and very caring for others."

(Sorry I am posting late. I'll make this post now when I can although I am not sure if I will be able to post later. Problems here at home and all, and my mom isn't feeling well so yeah. :/)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "I hope so. We could use Bryan's help too. If he's with us, he can help us question Alex's friends and maybe one of them could lead us to a clue."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "That sounds like a wonderful lady and she would make a very good queen. You'll choose well, Matt."

Lady Penelope looked slyly at Matthew and Lycoris and giggling, she said, "I can't wait to see the lady who would capture your heart, Matt, although I have a feeling that I won't wait for long."

(Awww I'm sorry about that, Love.  :/  As the case is, this is the last post I'm going to make tonight.  I have to go to bed early tonight because I have to wake up early in the morning to go to my grandma's place for the holiday here and all so yeah.  I hope things will get better on your end and for all of us all around.   )

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true and I know Bryan will do everything he can to help.  He can help with talking to the people here and hopefully, one of his friends can point us in the right direction."

Matthew blushed deeply but didn't say anything, overcome with an overwhelming feeling of shyness.  He hoped that there would be a change of subject to overcome his embarrassment.

(I understand. ^^ I apologize that my posting has been quite irregular lately and we haven't been able to RP much because of that but yeah, it's truly out of my hands and all. I hope things can change for the better soon. Anyhow, happy holidays and I hope you have a good time. ^^)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "I hope so."

She didn't say anything further, wanting to relax for a bit before it would be lunchtime.

Just then, the shapeshifter had entered the room, having come down from upstairs. She looked at everyone present then as she took a seat, she looked at Lycoris and Matthew and said,

"So you two are here. I was going to visit you in Lycoris' room but one of the maids told me that you went down."

(Thanks.  It's ok and things here haven't been smooth, either, so I understand.  ^^)

Ryan hugged Lisianthus and enjoyed the warmth of her presence as the two of them relaxed for the rest of the morning.  He commented,

"You know, maybe we should visit Melody in the afternoon and see how she's settling in here."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Oh yes, Lycoris wanted to get out of her room and I thought it'd be a good idea for us to be with everyone else.  How are you feeling?"

(Thanks and I truly hope things get better for all of us. ^^ )

Lisianthus smiled softly and nodding, she said,

"Ok, that's a good idea. It's Melody's first time outside of the gods' world so we should make sure that she's ok with it at least."

*************

The shapeshifter replied,

"Me? I am fine. I should be the one asking that question to Lycoris."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "I'm better than how I was yesterday, definitely. At least I am up and about."

(Me, too.  ^^)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, that's true and hopefully, she's getting along with the other horses in the royal stables although I don't see how it could be otherwise.  She's very kind and friendly."

Matthew nodded and added, "It's a good idea for Lycoris to move about.  A bit of exercise and socialization will help with her recovery as well."

Lisianthus giggled softly and replied,

"Isn't she? She gets along with almost everyone. I don't think there's a single person who met her before and didn't like her or vice versa. She has a big heart."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "Well, so long as she is getting better. I expected that you'd be in a better shape after all this time had passed but that head healer is good for nothing, isn't he?"

Lycoris didn't like how the shapeshifter talked about the head healer but hanging her head, she said, "He did what he could but then there's my other self and she's a problem."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, she sure does.  I'm happy she's here with us.  She can help us in the search and she's wonderful company, too."

Sensing Lycoris' feelings, Matthew added, "I'm sure Lycoris' condition isn't easy to treat, even for the most experienced of healers or doctors.  It's been fortunate that I haven't met Lycoris' other self yet so I haven't had to deal with such similar problems."

Lisianthus nodded with a smile and replied, "I am too and she will be a great help indeed. And we couldn't leave her by herself in the gods' world for a long time. She'd feel lonely by herself."

The shapeshifter looked thoughtful then raising an eyebrow, she replied,

"What if you met her? I mean, what if she suddenly made an appearance and tried to run away or something? Would you be able to take charge of the situation?"

(Ahh I am going out in a bit with my mom but hopefully, I'll be back soon and all. ^^)
