After Lisianthus and Melody left, Ryan returned to his room and once there, he deactivated the invisibility spell. Quickly thinking of who to contact first, he decided to contact Lycoris so reaching out to her telepathically, Ryan said,

Lycoris, it's me. Are you there?

Lycoris was in her room in the mansion, and fortunately, she was by herself when she heard Ryan contacting her. Smiling to herself, she said,

Yes, Ryan, I can hear you. How are you doing?

Ryan replied,

I-I'm ok, I guess, although I wish things were better. I wanted to let you know that Sia is coming to see you soon and...

He didn't know how to approach the topic of having listened in on Lisianthus' talk with Melody.

Lycoris was a little worried as she heard Ryan's tone and as he trailed off, she replied,

And? What is it, Ryan? Is Sia planning to do anything?

Ryan took a deep breath and then he told Lycoris about what he had overheard Lisianthus tell Melody, especially the part about Lisianthus wanting to erase all of her memories of Ryan. He couldn't help but collapse in tears as he told Lycoris.

Lycoris was alarmed as she heard what Ryan told her about Lisianthus and replied,

What? But how could have such a thought even crossed her mind? Why-why would she do that? I mean, I know there are problems between you two but...but to go that far...

Sia's really distressed and she thinks that if she gets back together with me, that I'll betray her the way her father did to her mother. But she should know that I'd never do such a thing. I'd kill myself before ever hurting Sia, especially like that.

(I'm pretty tired today so this will be my last post for tonight but I'll be back tomorrow and I'll post more then. Nite, nite, Love. ^^)

Lycoris sighed to herself and replied,

I-I see. But Sia shouldn't have such thoughts. You could never hurt her although I guess she can't help it.

She paused then said,

You want me to talk to her, right? Although I won't tell her about such a thing, of course. But to try to calm her down and ask her to open her heart to you again?

I will talk to her of course, and I'll do my best. Don't worry, ok? I will do what I can to calm her down. But yes, you should definitely talk to Duchess Irene and see what she thinks. I-I am sure she might have an idea.

He paused and then asked,

How are you, Lycoris? Are you being treated well?

Lycoris smiled a bit to herself and said,

I am alright, don't worry. The head healer is taking good care of me and at least for the while I've been here, I haven't had a problem with my other self. And Sia makes sure that I'm treated well so I have no complaints except for feeling a little lonely. Well, I miss everyone else, honestly.

Ryan felt saddened to hear Lycoris' latter words and he replied,

I'm sorry that you're feeling lonely, Lycoris? Have you told Sia how you feel? That you want to be back with the others?

No, not really. I don't want to burden her with worrying about me too, you know? And you too shouldn't worry. I'm alright, really, and I know this will end eventually. Sia is just trying to protect me.

Yes, that's true. I'll get you out of there eventually. I just need to get through to Sia somehow. I'm glad that you're patient with all of this. I know this must be difficult for you.

Hey, I told you not to worry about me now, ok? I'll be patient for as long as I have to. Just concentrate on getting things sorted out with Sia. It saddens me so to see you two like this.

He told Lycoris about his meeting with Alex earlier, about how the shapeshifter demanded that they get Lycoris back or else she would take action.

Lycoris was worried as she heard about what the shapeshifter was planning and replied,

Oh no. The shapeshifter is really getting impatient, isn't she? What if she tries to hurt Sia?

She paused then slowly, she continued,

I-I told Sia before, to just let me sacrifice my powers as the shapeshifter wants, as I want too, but she doesn't want to hear anything of it.

I know. I'll talk to Duchess Irene about this, too, and see if we can come up with something. Sia isn't in a good condition to be persuaded to let you go and I don't want to resort to taking you away without her knowing. We'll have to come up with something.

I understand, and I don't want to leave without telling Sia either. Umm maybe I can try contacting the shapeshifter and asking her to be a little more patient? Do you think that could work?

Ryan thought over Lycoris' idea and replied,

It certainly couldn't hurt. I don't know if that would persuade the shapeshifter to be patient and wait a little longer but you might as well give it a try.

She paused then said,

I'll go now so I can manage to talk to the shapeshifter before Sia arrives. Please let me know if anything else happens, Ryan, ok?

He shut off the telepathy with Lycoris and then contacting Irene, he said,

Duchess Irene, it's me again. Are you free to talk?
