Romance RP

Ryan raised an eyebrow and gently replied, "Is Sia right, Lycoris?  Are you sacrificing your powers to run away from problems?  I know you want to help the devils' world but is that the only reason?"

Lycoris quickly replied, 

"No, no, of course not. Sia only thinks that way because she doesn't want to accept me sacrificing myself, that's all. I do want to help the devils' world of course and that's the only reason."

She replied with as much confidence as she could despite her conflicted thoughts inside.

Although Ryan wasn't completely sure that Lycoris was sure of her answer, he nodded and replied,

"All right then.  Listen, I'm going to contact Duchess Irene and let her know that you're here but only her.  Do you want to communicate with her as well?"

Lycoris replied, 

"If she wants to talk to me, ok. Please let her know that I am alright and safe."

She then waited until Ryan would contact Duchess Irene.

Ryan replied, "All right then.  I'll contact her now."

Closing his eyes, he used his telepathy to reach out to Duchess Irene and said,

Duchess Irene, it's Ryan.  Are you there?  Are you free to talk?

Irene was in the academy in her office, taking care of the usual work although with a troubled mind. As she heard Ryan's message, she wondered what was the matter, and replied,

Hello, Ryan. Yes, I'm free. What's the matter? Is something wrong?

Ryan replied,

I'm with Lycoris.  Melody took me to her.


He then explained what had happened when Melody took Ryan to where Lycoris was being held and the conversation he had with Lycoris.

(Sorry for the slow posting. We received some bad news about my uncle so we're trying to reach out to him and all. ^^)

Irene replied with a lot of relief,

I see. That's finally some good news. How is she doing? Is she alright?

(Aww I see.  I'm sorry to hear that, Love.  I hope that things turn out ok.  :/)

Ryan replied,

Yes, Lycoris is all right and she's safe.  She's been well cared for.  I'm with her right now although I have my invisibility spell activated in case someone suddenly barges in.  Do you want to talk to her?

Irene replied, 

No, that's fine. As long as she's ok and well-cared for, that's what matters for now. But what's the next step, Ryan? We know now where she is but...are we going to take her away like that?

Ryan replied,

No, I don't think that's a good idea.  I mean, I'd like to but it just wouldn't feel right.  Lycoris thinks that I should talk to Sia about this.  But what do you think?

Irene was silent for a few moments, quietly thinking about the matter before she replied,

I don't know. I can't tell if Lisianthus is in a suitable state to talk at the moment. I told you how she was last night and I don't think she's any better at the moment. But I agree that simply taking away Lycoris like that isn't the right thing to do. If you talk with Lisianthus, will you let her know that you know where Lycoris is?


(Ahh we just reached out my uncle and thankfully, he's alright. It was a false alarm thank goodness. ^^)

Ryan replied,

I'm not sure but I don't think it's a good idea.  If I tell Sia, she'll probably just have Lycoris moved somewhere else.  And I don't think I should tell the shapeshifter, either.  She'll just want to get Lycoris right away without us trying to talk to Sia first.

Irene sighed inwardly and replied,

You're right on both regards. What then? The only solution is resolving things with Lisianthus but I am not sure how possible that is at the moment. I'm a little hesitant on the idea that you talk to her to be honest. I don't want her condition to worsen if things don't go well.

Ryan replied,

I don't know.  Do you have any suggestions?  Or maybe we can talk to Alex and Nerine and ask them for help as well?

Irene replied,

I think they've already tried talking to her and things didn't go very well for them either.


She paused then tentatively, she replied,

If you do talk to her, you'll try to resolve things with her completely, right? Reassure her of your love and your feelings and that you don't think badly of her at all? 

Ryan replied,

I will.  I won't stop until Sia knows that I love her completely and that I will never think badly of her, no matter what she does.  She is the one I want to be with for the rest of my life.

Irene sighed and after a moment, she replied,

In that case, do give it a try. I do warn you that things won't be easy at all though. When Lisianthus is in that state, she is double stubborn and her words can be very hurtful. I am just telling you ahead of time so you can prepare yourself mentally.

Ryan replied,

I understand.  I'll do my best but I realize that there is one problem.  Whenever I've tried to talk to Sia, she has avoided me.  I have the feeling that she'll continue doing so so what can I do?

Irene replied,

If you really want to talk to her, then you'll have to insist on talking to her and not let her run away from you. She avoids talking to you because she doesn't want to but she can't keep that up forever. You'll have to make her face you by insisting to talk things out.

Ryan replied,

I understand.  Then that's what I'll do.  Thank you, Duchess Irene.  I'll talk to Sia as soon as Melody and I return to the castle.  In the meantime, do you want to tell Alex and Nerine about Lycoris or should we do so together?

Irene replied,

Whichever you prefer. If you want me to tell them as soon as I return to the castle, that's fine or if you want me to wait until we're together, that's fine with me as well. Whichever you prefer.

Ryan replied,

In that case, I think it's best that we tell them together.  But should I talk to Sia first and then we can talk to Alex and Nerine?

Irene replied,

Yeah, I think that's a good idea. Depending on how things go with Lisianthus, that can affect what we tell Alex and Nerine. After all, if you miraculously somehow are able to fix things with her, we might be able to tell them where she is and if we are going to take her to the castle too.

Ryan nodded and replied,

Yup, that sounds good.  Ok then.  I'll talk to Sia first as soon as I get back to the castle and then I'll see how things go from there.


(Ahh I have to record something for my dad soon so I may be slow in posting.  XD)
