Romance RP

Alex nodded and replied, "I understand.  So what do you want me to tell them?"

He did want the shapeshifter's and Lady Penelope's help but agreed with Irene that they shouldn't cross a certain line.

Irene looked thoughtful for a moment before she replied,

"Would the shapeshifter and Lady Penelope be able to come to the gods' world now? I am thinking we could all meet at my office in the academy and think of what to do exactly."

Alex replied,

"I'll contact the shapeshifter now and see if she and Lady Penelope can do so."

Closing his eyes, he opened his mind to the telepathy and reaching out to the shapeshifter, he said,

Hey, it's me.  Are you there?

The shapeshifter received Alex's telepathic message and wondering if he had any news, she replied,

I am here. What's the matter?

(I'm free until I go to sleep for the night so I'll be here.  ^^)

Alex then told the shapeshifter what Lycoris had told him and then about the meeting he had with Irene, Ryan, and Nerine.  He even mentioned how Lisianthus refused to help rescue Lycoris so they were on their own and needed as much help as they could get.

The shapeshifter was surprised that all of this had happened during the morning, but she replied,

I see. So we'll have to go my way after all. Alright-have you decided on a plan or something?

Alex replied,

We're going to work out the details in Duchess Irene's office at the academy.  Would you and your mother be able to come?  Of course, we wouldn't tell Sia.  She wants no part of any of this.

The shapeshifter raised an eyebrow and replied,

Yes, I can come and my mother will too. Do you want the chancellor to come as well?

Alex replied,

He doesn't need to.  Duchess Irene only asked for the two of you unless you believe he may be useful in freeing Lycoris, too?

The shapeshifter replied,

Not necessarily. He can stay here until we're back. I'll come with my mother.

She paused then continued with a sarcastic tone,

What's wrong with Her Majesty? She's not feeling like helping out today?

Alex sighed sadly and replied,

She and Ryan are having problems.  It doesn't help that we've all kept things from her, even though they were for good reasons.  Even though we tried to include her in this, she just doesn't trust us for now.

The shapeshifter rolled her eyes and replied,

So she lets go of her precious cousin when she needs her. Heh, but why am I surprised?

She paused then continued,

Ok, we'll be coming. See you at the academy.

She shut off the telepathy then went to her mother so they could get going right away.

Alex turned to the others and said,

"Ok, I just finished talking to the shapeshifter.  She and Lady Penelope will head over to the academy so we should get going ourselves."

Irene nodded and replied,

"Very well. Let's get going then. My carriage is ready at the stable so we use it to leave immediately."

She got up and waited for Alex, Nerine and Ryan to follow her to the stables so they could leave to the academy.

Alex helped Nerine up and gently holding her arm, he escorted her while Ryan got up himself and then they all followed Irene as they left her office and headed to her carriage at the stables.  Both Alex and Ryan hoped that they could all come up with a plan to rescue Lycoris right away, as they knew the matter couldn't be delayed.

The party made it to the stables where Irene's carriage was indeed all ready. The stable boy saw them and helped them get inside, then the driver moved immediately out of the castle and towards the academy.

As they were on the road, Irene sighed sadly although she didn't say anything, but she was quite worried about Lisianthus.

As though Ryan could almost hear Irene's thoughts, he reached out to touch her hand and quietly said,

"When this is all over, we can talk to Sia again, right?  She must be angry because of me."

Alex replied, "We all tried to protect her but she doesn't get it.  Hopefully, she'll come around."

Irene turned to Ryan and Alex and not hiding her worry, she replied,

"It's just been quite a long time since I've seen Lisianthus in this state. She was like this back when her parents passed away and things were bad with the chancellor but I thought she became better and let go of all that. But I suppose what happened brought her back into it again."

Alex looked sad and asked, "Were we wrong to keep things from her?  It really wasn't an issue of trust."

He looked at Nerine, wondering how she felt.

Nerine looked saddened and worried as well, and started wondering the same thing as Alex. She quietly added,

"It's not like we wanted to hide things from her but we were only worried she might do something rash that makes things worse."

Irene sighed and said, "We had good reasons to hide stuff from her but she took it harder than I thought she would. She thinks that our opinion of her is the same as the people's."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "But that's not true.  None of us think that way.  But maybe we should have behaved differently?"

Alex replied, "We can't undo what's already been done."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow at some point and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Irene nodded and regaining her composure, she replied, "Alex is right. What happened happened. Let's think about the matter at hand at the moment and I am sure there's a way to fix things with Lisianthus later."

The carriage soon made it at the academy and the driver got off then opened the door for the party and helped them out.

(Back and free now although I'm pretty sleepy so I won't be posting for long.  XD)

After everyone got out of the carriage, Ryan, Alex, and Nerine followed Irene inside the academy and to her office.  Then, they had to wait for the shapeshifter and Lady Penelope to arrive so that they could discuss the matter with Lycoris.

(Ahh no problem, I understand. XD)

A little after the party arrived at Irene's office, there was a knock on the door. Irene gave permission and the door opened, with Lady Penelope and the shapeshifter getting inside.

Lady Penelope smiled softly to the party and curtseying politely, she said,

"Hello, everyone. It's a pleasure to see you all again."

Alex got up and bowing politely, he replied, "It's great to see you both."

Ryan got up as well and bowed politely to the ladies.  He then turned to Irene and said, "I think everyone's up to date on what has happened so we need to form a plan."
