Romance RP

The shapeshifter replied angrily,

"It's necessary at the moment no matter what. We can't let her get away. We won't find her if she runs away from us."

Alex sighed and replied, "All right.  How should we do it?  Would a sleep spell suffice?  Maybe Ryan should do it since he's right next to that impostor."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I get back from work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter nodded and replied,

"Contact him telepathically and let him take care of it. We need to get out of here but we must do so with her in our company and my mother needs to get help."

Alex nodded and using his telepathy, he communicated to Ryan that he should knock Lycoris unconscious with a sleep spell, as Lady Penelope was in no condition to perform the ritual.  Although Ryan was reluctant, he had no other choice but to agree.

Looking to Lycoris, he quietly said, "I'm sorry.  I'm so sorry for everything.  I hope that you'll be able to forgive me one day."

Then he performed the sleep spell before Lycoris would have any time to react.

(Ahh welcome back and sorry I am late. I am studying in the same time as I am posting and everything. XD)

Lycoris was confused by what Ryan said and was about to ask him what he meant by that when she felt light-headed all of a sudden and before she knew it, she lost consciousness and fell into Ryan's arms.

The shapeshifter had observed what happened and said, "Good. We need to get out of here and get back to the house. I need to make sure my mom is ok."

(Ahh no problem.  Out of curiosity, how many more exams do you have?  XD)

Ryan carried Lycoris in his arms and approaching the others, he said,

"I guess that would be for the best."

Alex asked, "Do you need any help?  I can carry Lady Penelope while you lead the way."

(Ahh a couple more. I have one on Sunday and another on Thursday then I can finally enjoy a much-needed break. lol)

The shapeshifter replied, "Alright. I'll need to take care of reopening the gate back to the humans' world."

She waited for Alex to carry Lady Penelope then led the way out of the cave to reopen the gate to the humans' world.

(Ahh I see.  I wish you good luck with them.  ^^)

Alex carried Lady Penelope in his arms and he and Ryan followed the shapeshifter as she opened the portal to take them back to the human world and to Alex's and Nerine's house, as they would need to regroup and tell the others what happened.

The shapeshifter opened the gate successfully, and leading the party, she walked into the portal which teleported them all to the humans' world in front of Alex's house.

The portal then disappeared behind them and the shapeshifter sighed, murmuring under her breath, 

"Damn this. We shouldn't have come back like this."

Ryan muttered, "But what happened?  How did she take control just like that?"

Alex said, "We should head on inside for now.  We can figure out what to do next."

The shapeshifter nodded and headed to the house where she knocked on the door. The chancellor got up and expecting the party alright, he opened the door. He was confused by the sight of Lady Penelope unconscious and frowned at the sight of Lycoris, wondering if it really happened and she wasn't alive anymore. His thoughts were interrupted by the shapeshifter saying,

"She's still alive, only unconscious. Let us in and we'll explain."

The chancellor was even more confused but he nodded and stepped aside to let everyone in.

As the party made their way inside, Edward and Eleanor stood up in surprise and Eleanor asked,

"What happened?"

Edward asked, "Why are Lycoris and Lady Penelope unconscious like that?"

The shapeshifter sighed and replied, "Lycoris' other self interfered and stopped everything."

She told everyone what exactly happened, finishing her words with an angry, "That impostor as Alex calls her spoiled everything."

Eleanor looked shocked and replied, "Oh no, my poor daughter."

She looked to be on the verge of tears and Alex replied, "Don't worry, mom.  We'll get the real Lycoris.  This impostor won't get away with this."

Ryan had placed Lycoris on the sofa while Alex placed Lady Penelope in an armchair.

The shapeshifter stayed by her mother's side although she didn't look too worried, as she knew her mother was only unconscious and weakened by the attack but she would wake up soon.

She frowned as she looked at Lycoris and said, "What are we going to do with her? She will wake up sooner or later and try to get away."

Alex replied, "Isn't it obvious?  We tie that impostor up and force her to release control so our Lycoris can return."

Ryan replied, "But isn't that a bit cruel?  I mean..."

Eleanor added, "Ryan has a point.  Shouldn't we find some alternative?"

The shapeshifter replied,

"I agree there. Although I don't like that other self, it's still the real Lycoris' body and hurting her isn't an option. But we need to remember the amount of power she has too. If she decides to make use of it to attack any of us, that will be trouble."

Alex raised an eyebrow and asked, "Then what do you suggest?  She's going to wake up eventually and then she'll try to find some way to escape."

Ryan looked deep in thought, trying to come up with any possible solutions.

The shapeshifter was thoughtful as well although she couldn't come up with anything. She replied,

"I would have suggested restricting her powers but that isn't an option. Last time we tried to do that, it almost killed her."

Ryan replied, "Well, we know that our Lycoris wants to sacrifice her powers but this other one clearly doesn't.  I don't know.  I can look into reversing that spell I performed on her.  In theory, that should get her other self to go back to its previous state but I don't know.  It's very risky if it's even possible."

The shapeshifter frowned and replied, 

"It's not necessary to go that far and as you mentioned, it's very risky. We just need to think of a way to keep her under control until my mom gets better and can perform the spell. We'll force her to go through it if we have to."

Ryan replied, "Then what do you suggest?  Alex and I both thought of ideas and they were shot down so it's your turn."

(If I'm slow in posting, it's because I'm gaming as well as chatting.  XD)

The shapeshifter looked thoughtful then said,

"Didn't you two share some sort of relationship and romance before? Can't you use that to keep her calm until it's time? It's just a day more or a two at most before we try this again."

Ryan frowned slightly and replied, "I don't know if that will work.  The other one thinks that I betrayed her and she wouldn't listen when I tried to reason with her.  And even if such a tactic might work, I'd be hurting our Lycoris and I-I can't bear to do that to her again."

He looked sadly on the ground, not wanting to hurt Lycoris like he had before.

The shapeshifter furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"But didn't this personality say that she weakened her and that she can't hear what's going on any longer? I don't know if she is truly serious about what she said of her taking control forever but we have to assume that it's true."
