Romance RP

Lycoris was the first one to reach out for a bite, and tasting it, she smiled happily and said,

"Yum, Ryan. It's really delicious. You didn't disappoint me."

Ryan looked happy and replied, "I'm so happy you like it, Lycoris."

Eleanor took a bite out of her dessert and added, "It's very delicious.  You're a talented cook, Ryan, just like our Alex."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The chancellor reached out to take a bite of the dessert as well and smiling, he said,

"Indeed. I had no idea you could cook so skillfully."

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "That's quite true. It looks like Ryan has plenty of talents."

Ryan blushed a bit and replied, "Thanks, everyone.  I told Lycoris this before but when I lived alone, I had to learn to cook by myself.  I'm happy that I was able to please Lycoris when I could cook for her."

Alex added, "Lycoris is very open-minded when it comes to trying new dishes so that certainly helps."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"Thank you, Alex. I love trying new dishes and trying different tastes. And in all honesty, I don't remember trying something you or Ryan made for me and not liking it. Everything you made was special in its own way."

Alex and Ryan blushed and Eleanor happily commented,

"You truly are lucky, Lycoris, to have tasted dishes from two talented men.  It's wonderful to see more men try their hands at cooking nowadays.  It must be a generational thing."

(I had an exam earlier in the morning but I am all done and back now. XD)

Lycoris happily replied, "Aren't I, mum? Both of them are quite talented and I had the honor to taste dishes created by them."

Meanwhile, the shapeshifter was quietly eating her dessert, silent but quite thoughtful, as she couldn't help but feel bad that she was taking away Lycoris from the two men who loved her the most.

(Ahh nice.  XD)

Alex and Ryan smiled softly at Lycoris and Edward replied, "Things sure have changed since our generation.  It's great to see more men cooking and even more women are out there working now."

Alex replied, "That's true.  I like that there's more equality nowadays."

(I'm posting really slowly but I'm having two chats at the moment.  I can't even game.  O_O)

(Ahh take your time. XD)

Lycoris smiled and nodding, she said, "It's better this way and Nerine is really lucky, Alex. She can depend on you for help whenever she needs it and I am sure you won't mind."

(Thanks.  XD  I didn't say anything yesterday since I knew you were concentrating on exams and all but one of my guy friends told me yesterday that he had a crush on me although I had to tell him that I have a boyfriend now.  I don't know what's up with this year and why I'm getting popular.  O.O)

Alex smiled and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris.  I want to do all I can to make my darling happy.  I know she must be missing me since we've been apart for so long although I do hope we'll be together again soon."

(Oh wow, that's a surprise. XD It seems like you have your hands full this year. XD)

Lycoris smiled kindly and said, "I am sure of it. Since this will be all over quite soon, you and her can return to each other and be reunited."

She was soon all done eating her dessert and happily said, "Thank you very much, Ryan."

(Yup but I'm handling it ok.  Despite the craziness, I'm able to remain calm somehow.  XD)

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "You're welcome, Lycoris.  Did you like it?  You can have more if you want.  I made plenty."

Alex and Ryan had finished their dessert, as did Edward and Eleanor.

(And that's what matters. XD)

Lycoris replied gratefully, "Thanks, Ryan. I am feeling quite full now."

Lady Penelope and the chancellor soon finished up afterwards.

(True.  XD)

As it looked like everyone was done with dessert, Eleanor turned to Lady Penelope and said,

"How about I help with the clean up?"

Lady Penelope nodded and smiling gratefully, she replied, "That would be great."

She got up and she and Eleanor took care of gathering the empty plates and cleaning up.

While Eleanor and Lady Penelope took care of the cleanup, Alex and Ryan looked sadly at Lycoris, as they knew what was about to happen.  Each had hope that they could save her although they knew that the chances were small.

As Alex and Ryan expected, the shapeshifter coughed and then spoke up,

"Well...I think it's about time. We should head to the devils' world and get this done with."

Alex sighed sadly and looking to Lycoris, he gently asked,

"Are you ready, Lycoris?"

Ryan added, "I'll go with you."

Alex added, "Me, too.  We'll be with you until the end."

Lycoris looked a little nervous and sad but she nodded slowly and replied,

"I am ready but I-I want to say goodbye to everyone first."

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "Sure and we have to wait for my mom as well since she is the one who will lead the ritual."

Edward looked sadly at Lycoris and said, "I wish you didn't have to leave us, Lycoris, although we knew this day was coming.  But we've loved having you with us, Eleanor especially.  She got to spend time with you and bond with you."

Lycoris smiled sadly but with a lot of love and gratitude, she replied,

"Thank you very much, dad. It's been my honor to meet you all and spend time with you. I've enjoyed every single moment I spent here and I built so many happy memories."

Edward patted Lycoris' hands and quietly replied, "It won't be the same without you.  I'll miss having you around, Lycoris."

As Eleanor helped Lady Penelope clean up, she couldn't help but feel sad as well that Lycoris would soon no longer be part of the world.

Lycoris continued smiling sadly, doing her best to keep herself composed and not tear up. She replied quietly,

"I will miss you all too but I am grateful to you all for everything."

Meanwhile, Lady Penelope noticed Eleanor's sadness and although she didn't say anything, she patted her hand gently, comforting her as much as she could.

Eleanor smiled sadly at Lady Penelope and quietly said, "I wish Lycoris didn't have to leave us.  I-I love my daughter so much and I can't bear to lose her like this."

She stopped her work, as she felt the tears welling up in her eyes.

Lady Penelope sighed inwardly and could totally understand Eleanor's feelings. Pausing at her work, she approached her and giving her a kind hug, she said,

"I know it's hard but who knows? Perhaps a miracle can happen and all this sadness becomes for nothing."
