Romance RP

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "And I do love hearing those words from you indeed.  You know, I think you deserve a kiss just for that."

He leaned in to give Lycoris a sweet kiss on the lips.

Alex replied, "All right.  I'll see you later then."

He gave a polite bow and then left the arena, making sure that his hood was on the entire time as he headed towards Lycoris' and Ryan's room.

Lycoris returned the kiss sweetly and lovingly and after a few moments, the kiss was eventually broken. She smiled lovingly and said,

"I should say a lot of beautiful words so I can receive a lot of wonderful kisses from you."

Ryan chuckled and was about to reply when he suddenly heard a knock at the door.  He turned to Lycoris and said,

"I'll go see who it is although I think I already know."

He got up and opening the door, it was Alex.  Ryan stepped aside to let him through and once Alex was inside and the door closed, Alex took off his hood and said,

"Hello, you two.  I'm done with all of my other duties so I can look after you for now."

Lycoris could tell it was Alex from his voice and her face immediately showed an annoyed, angry look, as she didn't like Alex's presence and couldn't stand him. But she didn't say anything, as she had a feeling she would say something bad if she spoke up.

Alex noticed the look on Lycoris' face and wondering what was wrong, he asked,

"What is it?"

Ryan resumed his place beside Lycoris and replied, "Well, um, it's Lycoris' other self that's in control right now but you can't tell anyone.  The consequences will be terrible if you do."

Alex was surprised but remaining calm, he replied, "Is it?"

Lycoris finally spoke up angrily, "Does it make a difference to you? I'd be a lot better if you weren't here right now but unfortunately, I don't have a choice. So you better not annoy me more than I am already annoyed."

Alex couldn't help but feel hurt by Lycoris' words but before he could say anything, Ryan replied,

"It's probably for the best that we limit how much we talk, ok?"

Alex nodded and taking a seat, he replied, "Ok, I-I understand."

Ryan turned to Lycoris and said, "I'm here, my angel, and I'm not leaving your side for one second, ok?"

Lycoris smiled lovingly as Ryan talked to her and cuddling close to him, she replied in a voice audible enough for Alex to hear,

"I know, my Ryan. You would never abandon me or leave my side, no matter what happened. That's why I love you so much, you know."

Ryan smiled a little and replied, "And I love you always, my angel."

Using his telepathy, Ryan communicated to Alex,

I'm sorry.  Until Lycoris' usual self returns, this is how things are going to be for now.


Although Alex didn't reply, he nodded his head, understanding that things would be different for now.  However, a tear shed down his cheek, as he didn't like this other Lycoris that had taken over.  It was as though this Lycoris had no ounce of kindness in her whatsoever.

Lycoris smiled softly and continued enjoying Ryan's company, ignoring Alex's presence as if he weren't there. She truly believed that he was an enemy, a traitor who had hurt her over and over and means no well. The true Lycoris, locked inside, could hear everything and her heart broke that she was treating Alex like this.

As Alex wanted to say something, he turned to Ryan and said,

"Um, I thought I should let you know but the shapeshifter is going back to the castle this afternoon.  She said that she's going to talk to the soldiers in the basement this time and see if they know anything about what Sia's doing."

Ryan looked worried and replied, "Oh no.  I have to talk to Duchess Irene right away."

He turned to Lycoris and asked, "Would that be ok with you, angel?  I just need to let her know so everyone can be on the alert and then I'll return my attention to you as always."

(You know, I am confused. I can't figure whose side Alex really is on. XD)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yeah, do so. The soldiers need to be careful or else they'll know about Sia's plans."

(Well, Alex is playing on both sides or at least he's trying to.  XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "All right."

Using his telepathy, he reached out to Duchess Irene and said,

Hello, again.  I know it's unexpected to hear from me so soon but I needed to tell you something right away that couldn't wait.

(lol I see. He'd get it hard if both sides knew somehow what he's doing though. XD)

Irene was alarmed as Ryan contacted her and replied,

What is it, Ryan? Did something happen?

(lol  That's true.  XD)

Ryan replied,

We just got some information that the shapeshifter is planning on spying on the castle this afternoon but this time, she's going to question the soldiers in the basement and find out if they know anything.  They don't really know what's going on, do they?

Irene frowned and worried, she replied,

She could easily find out that they had been looking through the temples recently. She'd feel alarmed and change your location.

She paused, thinking quickly then said,

Let me contact Lisianthus right away. She has to be careful and alarm the soldiers or something. She'll know what to do.

Ryan replied,

Ok, I'll go so you can let Sia know right away.  And please tell her to be careful.  I couldn't bear it if anything happened to her.

Irene couldn't help but smile a bit to herself and replied,

I will. Please let me know if you find out anything else. Talk to you later.

She then shut off the telepathy and quickly contacted Lisianthus to let her know of the news.

Ryan turned his attention to Lycoris and Alex and said, "Ok, Duchess Irene will tell Sia what's going on so everything will be taken care of.  Thank you for letting us know, Alex."

Alex nodded and replied, "No problem.  I mean, I do want you and Lycoris to be rescued and at the very least I want that captain to be taken down."

Lycoris frowned and replied, "Yeah, right. You could have avoided pulling us here in the first place. You're a traitor and nothing can change that no matter what you do, understood? If there's anything I regret, I regret coming here to 'save' you, but then it wasn't really me at the time."

She looked annoyed and angry again, as Alex's presence fueled those emotions into her.

Alex faltered and didn't reply but the tears fell down his cheeks.  Ryan turned to Lycoris and gently said,

"Hey, at least everyone is on the alert now and we'll be rescued soon, right?  So that captain will get what's coming to him."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I'm all done with work.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris continued to frown and replied, "Sure but he can't pretend now that he's our savior and he's helping us, because he's far from that and nothing he does can really make up for what he caused in the first place. He's just as bad as that captain and shapeshifter."

(Got done with work early today so I'll make a post now.  XD)

Alex didn't say anything but continued to cry to himself, as Lycoris' words stung his heart.  Seeing the situation, Ryan gently replied,

"Hey, it's going to be ok, my angel.  Just try to calm down.  Getting angry like this isn't good, you know?"

(Welcome back. XD)

Lycoris crossed her arms and calming down a bit, she replied in an annoyed voice,

"Fine, I'm calm although I'd feel a lot better and calmer if he weren't here."

Ryan sighed to himself and turning his attention to Lycoris, he said, "Hey, just focus on me, ok?  Pretend that it's only the two of us.  You can do that, right, angel?"

Meanwhile, Alex felt sad, as he wished that the usual Lycoris was here instead of this impostor.
