Romance RP

Lycoris held the puppies in her arms as Ryan carried her upstairs to their room. Although her heart was heavy with sadness, she was glad inside that everything was going to end soon, and that the people she loved and cared about would be safe.

(I hope that the miracle to save the devils' world comes true although that would certainly complicate things for Lycoris.  XD)

Once the party was safely inside their room, Ryan gently placed Lycoris on the bed.  Looking to her, he said,

"Ok, I'll go wash up and change but do you need anything?"

(Yup, yup, that's true. XD)

Lycoris shook her head and replied, "Thanks, Ryan. I'm fine. Just get ready for bed already so you can get a lot of sleep, ok?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok.  I'll return to your side as soon as I'm done."

He looked to the puppies and added, "You two protect our angel, ok?"

The puppies barked happily, and after getting a pair of pajamas, Ryan entered the bathroom to wash up and get ready for the night.

Meanwhile, Lycoris remained with the puppies in her arms, but then made sure to tuck them gently in their place at the foot of the bed, petting them gently and wishing them a good night.

Ryan quickly washed up and changed into a pair of black pajamas.  After quickly checking himself in the mirror, he left the bathroom and put away his clothes.  Then he climbed into bed next to Lycoris and said,

"I'm all done, my angel."

Lycoris smiled softly and after petting the puppies one last time, she returned to her place by Ryan's side. She gently said,

"Alright. You should get some sleep then and I'll watch over you."

Ryan nodded and wrapping his arms around Lycoris, he said,

"Ok, I'll sleep but if you need anything, wake me up, ok?  I'd do anything for you."

He looked lovingly and sleepily at Lycoris.

Lycoris couldn't help but smile softly and reaching out gently to stroke Ryan's hair, she said,

"I will. Just make sure to get as much rest as possible, ok?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok then.  Good night, my angel, and see you in the morning."

He laid his head down on his pillow and closing his eyes, he soon fell fast asleep, as did the puppies.

Lycoris remained awake for the whole night, although it was pretty difficult as she was quite tired. But she did her best to remain up and whenever she would nod off, she would try to distract herself in any way. She stroked Ryan's hair gently, hoping that he would enjoy a peaceful night.

As Ryan slept, he kept dreaming about Lycoris and his dreams were full of worries and fears.  He kept muttering words like, "Please don't leave me" and "I can't live without you."  The tears formed in his eyes although Ryan was unaware of them.

(Ahh should we fast forward it to the next morning?)

(Ahh sure. XD You can have Ryan wake up next post and all. XD)

Lycoris would hear Ryan's plea in his sleep and would do her best to comfort him, stroking his hair gently and muttering words of comfort to him. Although she felt bad that she would be leaving him, she had no other choice.

(Ok.  XD)

The next morning, Ryan woke up although he felt as though he hadn't slept very well.  Turning to Lycoris, he quietly said,

"Good morning, angel.  Did you stay awake all night?"

Lycoris smiled softly to Ryan although her face was clearly quite tired. She replied,

"Good morning, Ryan. Yes, I was able to stay up all night. Did you get enough rest?"

She could remember Ryan's words in his sleep and worried if they interfered with his rest.

Ryan replied, "It felt like I kept having nightmares but I think I slept enough."

The puppies woke up then and happily approached Lycoris, waiting for her to cuddle and love them.

Lycoris received the puppies happily and petted them gently but she was worried as Ryan told her he had nightmares. Hanging her head down, she replied,

"Yes, you seemed troubled all night...I did my best to comfort you although I know it didn't help much. I'm sorry, Ryan. It's my fault."

Ryan wrapped his arms around Lycoris and shaking his head, he replied, "No, it's not.  None of this is your fault, angel."

Although Ryan couldn't remember his dreams, he knew that Lycoris wasn't to blame for what was happening.

Although Lycoris didn't quite agree, she didn't voice her opinion, and instead just returned Ryan's hug. She smiled a bit then said, "If you're all up now, we should get ready for the day, right? It's a very important one."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true.  In that case, I'll get ready first."

He gave Lycoris a kiss on each cheek and after getting out of bed, he took a change of clothes and went into the bathroom to shower and get dressed.

While Ryan got ready for the day, Lycoris remained with the puppies, petting them gently. She softly said,

"I'll miss you very much, boys and I really enjoyed every moment we spent together. Don't forget me, ok?"

(Ahh I'll bring back Alex and the others now. I hope that's ok. XD)

The next morning, the shapeshifter was up and about quite early as usual. As she needed to talk to Alex, she brought both of their breakfasts and headed to his room, then knocked on the door.

The puppies barked at Lycoris and looked at her sadly, as though they knew that they would soon be parted from her.

Meanwhile, Ryan quickly finished his shower and after drying off, he put on a pair of dark blue jeans and a green shirt.  Then he combed his hair and once he looked presentable, he left the bathroom and put away his pajamas.  Then he approached Lycoris and said, "I'm all done.  Do you think you're up for a bath?"

Alex was already awake and hearing the knock on the door, he got up to open it.  Seeing the shapeshifter, he bid her good morning and allowed her passage inside.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I get back from work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Nite, nite, phoenix. ^^)

Lycoris shook her head and replied, "I'd like to but I don't think I'll be strong enough. I might fall down or something and we certainly don't need that now, right? So will you just help me wash up and maybe brush my hair? I'd really appreciate it, Ryan."

The shapeshifter entered the room and put down the breakfast on the table. Then turning to Alex, she said,

"We'll be eating together but only because I need to discuss with you a few things."

(Back now so I'll make a post and all.  XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, I'd be happy to help."

He helped Lycoris to her feet and then escorted her to the bathroom, where he helped her to wash her face and brush her teeth as well as brush her hair.

Although the shapeshifter stated that she would only be eating with Alex to discuss some business things, he smiled and replied,

"Ahh that's fine.  I'm happy to be eating with you at any rate."

(Welcome back. XD)

As Ryan helped her, Lycoris was able to wash up and get ready for the day as well as brush her hair. Once she was all presentable, the couple went out of the bathroom, and Lycoris sat down on the bed, taking her breathes. She reached out to the little puppies to hold in her arms then asked,

"Can we have breakfast here, Ryan? I'm not really feeling up to going downstairs at the moment."

The shapeshifter raised an eyebrow but she didn't comment, and took her seat at the table. She waited until Alex sat down as well and then started eating her breakfast, figuring that she would speak up in the middle of their eating.
