Romance RP

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, just by being you, really.  I love how kind and innocent you are and how you see the good in others.  You're better than a lot of people, including myself."

He thought that if he talked about the good things in the old Lycoris, perhaps she would try to reach out for him somehow.

Lycoris had a confused look over her face, for it almost sounded like Ryan was talking about a different woman. She replied,

"But I don't really see the good in others. If others are bad or mean, then they deserve to punished for their wrongs. How am I supposed to see the good in my sister, or that shapeshifter for example?"

Ryan replied, "Before, I would have agreed with you on that but you got to see a different side even to them.  Although Nerine was quite mean to you at times, she did carry you inside her and even though it wasn't by her choice, she took on the responsibility.

As for the shapeshifter, do you remember what I told you about what was inside the devil king's diary?"

Lycoris frowned and replied, "Yeah, I do but that still doesn't make any sense. If you want to say that she's doing all of this for a good reason, then that's absurd. It's not my fault that the devils' world is cursed or whatever, and it doesn't give her any excuse to attack me and slash my eyes like she did. Almost everyone is using me for some reason or the other and I'm through with that."

She suddenly became in a bad mood, as talking about the shapeshifter and Nerine angered her.

Ryan could see how upset Lycoris was getting and hugging her, he gently replied,

"I'm sorry, angel.  I didn't mean to upset you.  I hope you know that not everyone is like.  I'm not like that, am I?"

Lycoris took a deep breath to calm down as Ryan hugged her, and returning the hug, she pouted and replied,

"No, you aren't like that. You're one of the very few people who actually treat me as a person, a living being and not an object. But you sound like you're defending those bad people who deserve nothing but punishment."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "Oh no, not at all.  I just remember that's how you used to defend these people, even when I thought badly of them.  Are you telling me that you've changed your mind now?"

Lycoris was silent for a moment, as though she was confused herself about her change of mind, but anyhow, she replied,

"Yes, consider it so. I was probably nice and kind because I wanted to give those people a chance but they don't deserve it. And I don't deserve being treated like this, so from now on, I'll be standing up for myself and defending it."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I do agree that you didn't deserve to be treated badly.  You've been nothing but wonderful and kind to people and for them to treat you harshly in return.

My angel.  I promise that I'll do my best not to be like those people who hurt you badly.  I only want to bring you happiness and love always."

Lycoris took a deep breath and calming down, she cuddled closer to Ryan as she replied quietly,

"I know. You're the only one I trust now, and I have faith that you'll always remain by my side to support and love me, not like everyone else. That's why I love you so much."

Ryan blushed deeply but kept his arms around Lycoris and he replied,

"And I love you.  I know all too well what it's like to be hurt by people who aren't supposed to do so.  You are a very special woman and I bet the people who are mean are jealous of you."

Lycoris laid her head on Ryan's chest and sighing happily, she replied,

"Hearing those good words about me make me feel a lot better, you know. I wish we could travel somewhere very, very far, just you and me, away from all this mess and everyone else. I would be very happy to just have you all to myself. Wouldn't you?"

Ryan blushed deeper and replied, "I wouldn't mind that.  This place is pretty isolated since very few people know of it and it's hard to find.  I wonder where we could go that it would just be the two of us..."

Lycoris looked thoughtful, trying to think of such a place but as her knowledge was pretty limited, she couldn't reach an answer. Pouting, she replied,

"I'm pretty sure there's some place, one that's isolated and in a beautiful, romantic spot. Don't you know of such a place in the humans' world?"

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied,

"Well, the only other place I can think of that would even be more isolated and romantic and beautiful at the same time would be a tropical island.  Perhaps after all this craziness is over, we could spend some time on one of the islands?  You'd be treated like a queen and I could give you all my love and attention."

(Man, I feel like snapping Ryan out of this.  He needs to focus on getting the old Lycoris back.  XD)

(lol Me too. It seems like this Lycoris was able to attract him, right? XD)

Lycoris liked the idea very much especially that she had never gone to a tropical island. So smiling, she said,

"Now that really sounds lovely and you know, I've never been to a tropical island before so I am curious to see how it is. But as long as you'll be with me, all to myself, I know I will be the happiest woman in the world."

(Yup.  O.O)

Ryan hugged Lycoris and replied, "Then let's do that.  We'll have a lot of fun there and I can show you a lot of one of the islands.  Also, the food is quite delicious and it's hard to find it in most places."

Lycoris grinned happily and hugging Ryan tightly, she said,

"You're the best. I can't wait. I want to get completely better soon so I can finish this mess we're in with your help, and then we'll have all the time to ourselves and we'll be so happy."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  You deserve a break after everything that's happened.  If it is possible for me to make your dreams come true, I'll do my best to fulfill them.  That's how much I love you."

Lycoris couldn't help but blush at Ryan's statement and replied softly, "You really are the best, you know."

She leaned in for a loving, sweet kiss on the lips, pouring all her feelings into it.

Ryan blushed as well but happily returned the kiss, pouring all of his love and passion into it.  Being with Lycoris like this made Ryan almost forget about all of the troubles although they weren't completely out of his mind.  Rather, they were at the back of his mind.

After the kiss was over, Ryan said, "I have an idea.  How about we take a little nap here?  It'd be good for both of us, I think."

Lycoris pouted cutely and replied, "Now? But didn't we wake up just a while ago? Don't tell me you're feeling sleepy again. Or is being with me so boring that it makes you want to nap?"

Ryan chuckled softly and replied, "Aww you're so adorable when you pout like that but really, I just thought that a little nap might be good for recovery.  But we can take it later if you prefer.  I just don't want to tire out my one and only angel here."

Lycoris smiled again and looking playful as she reached out to caress Ryan's cheek lovingly, she replied,

"I am not too tired yet. We can have a nap during the afternoon after lunch, how does that sound? And we can have it here too, lying on the grass and under the warm sunlight and in each other's arms. Sounds perfect, doesn't it?"

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I'm looking forward to that.  In the meantime, would you like to go back at gazing at the clouds for a while?  We're lucky that there are several white puffy clouds in the sky this morning."
