Romance RP

Ryan quickly took his shower and after drying off, he put on a pair of black jeans and dark blue shirt.  Then he combed his hair and once he looked presentable, he left the bathroom to put away his pajamas.  Then he returned to the bathroom and prepared a nice warm bath for Lycoris, setting aside towels and a bathrobe as well.  After everything was prepared, Ryan returned to Lycoris and said,

"I'm all done and your bath is all ready, Lycoris."

Lycoris nodded to Ryan and replied, "Thanks, Ryan. I'm ready to go too."

She gently put the puppies on the bed and then got up, holding to Ryan as she followed him to the bathroom.

Ryan gently held on to Lycoris' arm as he led the way into the bathroom and there, he guided her hands to where the towels and bathrobe were.  Then he placed her hands in the bath water and asked,

"Is the water temperature ok for your bath?"

Lycoris felt the water with her hand and as it was indeed warm enough, she nodded and replied, "Yes, it's fine. Thanks a lot, Ryan. I'll finish my bath and then call for you."

(Ahh I'll bring Alex and Nerine back since it's morning for both parties now. XD)

The next morning, Nerine woke up a little after the sun rose. She could sleep better than last night and felt more rested. Seeing Alex still asleep beside her, she smiled softly and watched his peaceful face, but didn't wake him up to let him rest as much as he wanted.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok.  I'll tidy up our room in the meanwhile."

He left the bathroom, making sure to close the door.  Then he went about making the bed and then fetched Lycoris' clothes for the day.

Alex continued to sleep peacefully, unaware that Nerine woke up.  A little later, he woke up as well and seeing that Nerine was awake, he gazed happily at her and said,

"Good morning, darling.  Did you sleep well?"

Lycoris took her bath meanwhile, refreshing herself for the day. She was soon done and after drying herself thoroughly, she changed into her bathrobe. Once she was all ready, she reached out for the door carefully and called out, "Ryan? I'm done."

Nerine smiled lovingly at Alex as he woke up and nodding, she replied,

"Good morning, Alex. Yup, I slept fine tonight. What about you?"

Ryan heard Lycoris call out for him and he headed to the bathroom.  Once inside, he took the hairbrush and gently brushed Lycoris' hair, making sure that it was soft and smooth and that it flowed beautifully past her shoulders.  Then he fetched her dress for the day and handing it to her, he said,

"Here's your dress, Lycoris.  Do you need anything else?  If not, just call me when you're done and I'll take care of finishing your hair."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Me, too.  It sure makes a difference sleeping in a comfortable warm bed."

He sat up in bed and stretched out his arms, wondering what the day would bring.

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Thanks, Ryan. I'll call for you once I am done."

She waited until Ryan left the bathroom and once she heard the door click, she changed out of her bathrobe and into her dress for the day. Once she was ready, she reached out for the door and called out, "Ryan?"

Nerine smiled softly and sat up in bed as well, wondering the same thing. Just then, the door opened and the shapeshifter appeared, carrying a tray of breakfast. Setting it on the table, she said,

"Here's your breakfast. You didn't suffer from the cold last night?"

Ryan heard Lycoris call out for him and after fetching a beautiful blue ribbon, he approached Lycoris in the bathroom.  There, he brushed her hair and then styled it with the blue ribbon.  Once he was done, he smiled in the mirror and asked,

"What do you think?"

Alex shook his head and replied, "Not at all.  It was quite comfortable here and we slept well last night.  Thank you for taking us here.  It was very thoughtful of you to do so."

He smiled softly at the shapeshifter, showing his appreciation for her efforts.

Lycoris activated her bracelet and gazing at the mirror, she could see her and Ryan's reflections. Although she would usually feel quite happy to see Ryan's face, she couldn't bring herself to look at him for long, feeling too ashamed to do so.

Not wanting to reveal her feelings however, she smiled back and replied, "I look nice and you look great too, Ryan, as always."

The shapeshifter nodded without saying anything before she left the room. Nerine got up from bed and approaching the table, she said,

"Breakfast looks fresh at least. We should get something to eat."

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "I'm happy to hear such wonderful compliments from my angel.  Now let's go downstairs and I'll cook us a big breakfast.  And I should refill Robert's bucket."

He gently held Lycoris' arm and after fetching the puppies, they went downstairs and outside to greet Robert.

Alex approached the table as well and nodding, he replied, "Yup, we should and I am hungry."

He helped Nerine into a seat and then took a seat next to her.  Then the couple began to eat their breakfast, getting their fill for the day.

Lycoris followed Ryan to outside where Robert was, and smiled softly as she saw the horse. Approaching him, she petted his head gently and said,

"Good morning, Robert. How are you doing today?"

Nerine began eating as well, getting her energy for the day. As the couple ate, she turned to Alex and asked,

"Do you think anything will happen today?"

Robert whinnied happily and received Lycoris' attentions.  Ryan smiled and said,

"You look well today, Robert.  We're just going to refill your bucket so you have plenty of water for the day."

Alex shrugged and replied, "I don't know but at the very least, I'm hoping that we won't have to deal with that captain anytime soon.  He's clearly unstable.  But fortunately, we haven't had to talk to him much."

Lycoris nodded in agreement to Ryan and said, "Yup, so be right back, Robert."

She then followed Ryan as he took the bucket of water to the kitchen and refilled it, then followed him back outside to Robert. She said, "Enjoy your breakfast, Robert."

Nerine nodded and replied, "I hope so. I could say he's crazy or something. Not at all safe to be around."

Robert whinnied happily in reply and began to drink his water and eat the nearby fresh grass.  Ryan then escorted Lycoris back inside the house and into the kitchen, helping her into a chair.  As he took out ingredients for breakfast, he asked,

"Would french toast be ok this morning, Lycoris?"

Alex nodded and replied, "Agreed.  No matter what happens, at least we have each other and we're together so I know I can get through anything that comes our way."

He smiled softly at Nerine as he soon finished up his breakfast.

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Sure, french toast sounds great. Anything you cook would be fine."

She waited patiently as Ryan made them breakfast, holding the puppies in her arms and petting them gently.

Nerine returned Alex's smile lovingly and soon finished up her breakfast as well. The shapeshifter returned a while later to pick up the tray and as she did, she said to the couple,

"Do you freshen up? We don't have a bathroom in a cave obviously but there are means for refreshment and washing up."

Ryan smiled and replied, "Great."

He then prepared french toast and after some minutes, he finished cooking the food.  He placed the food on two plates and then took them to the table along with utensils and glasses of orange juice.  He then prepared bowls of puppy food and water and laid them on the floor for the puppies.  Then he took a seat next to Lycoris and said,

"Breakfast is all ready.  We should both get our fill."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, that would be great."

He turned to Nerine and asked, "You would like to freshen up a bit, too, right, darling?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Thanks, Ryan. Breakfast looks great as always."

She smiled a bit to him and the couple began eating their meal. As they did, she asked, "You're going to contact the shapeshifter after breakfast, right?"

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yes, that would be nice."

The shapeshifter nodded and said, "Alright. After all, today could be the day you're going back to your friends. Don't want to call you filthy when you return now, do you?"

She smirked and signaled to the couple to follow her out of the room.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Of course.  After we eat and I clean up here, then I'll contact the shapeshifter and set up the exchange in the gods' world.  That way, I can take Alex and Nerine to safety once the exchange is made and Sia and the soldiers can back us up if it's necessary."

Alex raised an eyebrow but didn't comment as he and Nerine followed the shapeshifter out of the room and to an area where they could wash up and get clean.

Lycoris nodded and replied quietly, "Be careful, ok? I trust you, Ryan, but this is still dangerous so keep your guard up."

She felt bad that Ryan was endangering himself, and hoped he would make it out of there safely and successfully bringing back Alex and Nerine to safety.

The shapeshifter led the couple to an area closed to the waterfall inside the cave, where there were curtains and such for privacy and other necessities. She pointed at it and said,

"Here you are. Don't take too long."

Ryan smiled softly, touched that Lycoris was worried about him.  He touched her arm and gently replied,

"Don't worry, my angel.  I'll be careful.  I'll make sure to contact you as soon as Alex and Nerine are safe."

He continued to eat his breakfast, soon finishing up.

Alex nodded and replied, "Thanks.  We'll be quick then."

He led Nerine to one of the curtains and then he went into one of the other curtains so that he could wash up and freshen himself up for the day.

Lycoris smiled a bit and soon, she was too done with her breakfast. She waited for Ryan to clean up and such so they could contact the shapeshifter, and hoped everything would go as planned.

The shapeshifter waited for the couple, making sure to eye the curtains carefully in case they tried to pull anything. Nerine washed up and was soon done, feeling fresh, and went out of the curtains, waiting for Alex to finish as well.

The puppies soon finished their breakfast as well and seeing that everyone was done eating, Ryan got up and cleared the plates and such from the table.  He then washed everything in the sink and placed the items on the drying rack.  As he anticipated that he wouldn't return until the afternoon, Ryan took the liberty of quickly making a chicken sandwich for Lycoris as well as preparing a bottle of apple juice for her.  Also, he set aside a bowl of puppy food. 

After he was done, he approached Lycoris and said, "Ok, I'm all done cleaning up and I went ahead and prepared your lunch and the puppies' lunch, too.  It's all in the icebox so I think you can feel around and find them.  Let's go into the living room and then I'll contact the shapeshifter, ok?"

Alex soon finished washing up as well and after he was done, he emerged from the curtains.  Seeing that Nerine was already done, he said,

"Looks like we're both done.  I guess you'll be taking us back to our room now?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Alright. Thanks for the lunch, Ryan. I appreciate that you went through the trouble."

She smiled a bit then getting up as she held the puppies in her arms, she followed Ryan to the living room.

The shapeshifter nodded and raising an eyebrow, she replied, "Of course. Unless you want to go somewhere else?"

Her tone was sarcastic, and she led the way back to the couple's room.

(Ahh I'll be gone for about 30 minutes or something but I'll be back as soon as I can. XD)

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Ryan gently held Lycoris' arm and led the way out of the kitchen and to the living room.  He then seated both of them on the sofa and facing Lycoris' duplicate, he asked,

"Did you rest well last night?"

The duplicate nodded in reply.

Alex raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything as he escorted Nerine and followed the shapeshifter back to their room.  Along the way, he wondered if today they would be free although he hated the idea of Lycoris being sacrificed for their freedom.
