Romance RP

(Well, Lycoris is eliminating any possibility of being in love with Ryan.  XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's right.  Sia and I are going to be married.  I admit that I feel a little uneasy because of recent events but probably after we're married, we can come to some more agreement on things or at least more middle ground.

I know that my dreams are making you uneasy but they'll pass with time.  I'm sure they're only temporary and don't mean anything."

(Ahh she's actually coming to realize it but she's forcefully denying it because she fears the complications and the guilt she'd feel if she admitted it was true. XD)

Lycoris felt better as she and Ryan talked things out clearly, and she wanted to believe that Ryan's dreams were just confusions with no meaning at all. It put her mind at ease although her heart felt otherwise, but she did her best to shut off the feelings lingering inside of her, almost denying their existence.

Smiling a little for the first time, she replied, "Yes, I'm sure of it. Thank you, Ryan. This makes me more comfortable."

(Ahh I see.  Man, we've got to get those two to confess that they love each other.  XD)

Ryan returned Lycoris' smile and gently holding on to her hands, he replied,

"I'm happy that you're more at ease now."

He looked up at the sky and then added, "It's getting to be late afternoon.  How about we stay out here for a little longer and then we can go inside to cook dinner together?  Sound good?"

(Yeah, I totally agree. XD)

Lycoris smiled a little more and nodding, she replied, "That sounds good. The sunset should be soon, right? We can watch the sky as it becomes dark then go inside."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Sure, that sounds great."

The puppies had woken up and happily approaching Lycoris, they barked at her, wanting attention.  Ryan smiled at them and said,

"Aww, our boys want you, my angel."

Lycoris received the puppies happily, reaching out to hold them in her arms and pet them gently. She softly said,

"Hey, little ones. I hope you had a good nap too?"

The puppies barked happily and wagged their tails in reply.  Ryan smiled softly at them and said,

"I'm certain that's a yes but then it doesn't surprise me.  They always sleep well with you around, my angel."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Thanks, Ryan, but I am sure it's your presence too that makes a difference to them."

She gazed at the sky with him as she petted the puppies gently, the sky soon changing into a beautiful orange color as the sun started to set.

Ryan gazed happily as the couple watched the sunset and he said,

"The sunset here is beautiful, too.  Lycoris, do you think the sunset here or the one in the gods' world is more beautiful?"

Lycoris looked curious and replied, "Are they different? Isn't it the same sun that goes and comes or not?"

She looked a bit confused but then said, "Nevertheless, I like them both. They're really beautiful and it's difficult to prefer one over the other. Anything that's natural is breathtaking, right?"

Ryan smiled and replied, "Yes, that's right.  You know, some people say that a sunset means that the sun is saying goodbye to us for the day and that the moon is arriving to say hello.  The reverse goes for a sunrise.  Then the moon says goodbye for the night while the sun says hello.  You know, I think that's quite correct."

Lycoris looked delighted at the thought and replied happily, "Is that so? Aww you should have told me earlier, Ryan."

She gazed at the sky and waving happily to the sun that was setting, she said, "Goodbye, sun. It was a beautiful day and see you tomorrow morning. And of course, welcome, pretty moon."

Ryan chuckled softly upon seeing Lycoris say goodbye to the sun while greeting the moon.  He did the same and all the while, he thought about how happy and at peace Lycoris was and how wonderful she was to appreciate even the little things in life that others would take for granted.

Lycoris continued watching the sunset with a happy smile over her face while it lasted, and soon it was over, the sun having completely set. She then said,

"Well, now that the sun's gone, should we go inside? I am feeling a little hungry now and I want to help you with dinner."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Sure, that sounds great."

He looked at Robert's bucket and noticing that it was empty, he asked,

"Would it be all right if we refilled Robert's bucket with water first?  He should have some fresh water to drink along with his dinner."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yes, of course. I couldn't see it but of course, he must have his water for dinner first."

She reached out and carefully stood up, then waited for Ryan to do the same.

Ryan got up and picking up the puppies, he carefully placed them in Lycoris' arms.  Then holding on to her arm, he led the way to Robert's bucket and looking to the horse, he said,

"We'll be right back, Robert.  I'll make sure you have some fresh water for dinner."

The horse whinnied and nodded in reply.  Then Ryan led the way back inside to refill Robert's bucket.

Lycoris followed Ryan closely back inside where he took care of filling the bucket with water, then followed him back outside to put the water for Robert. Her mind was a lot more at ease than earlier although her heart was a different story, but she did her best to ignore it.

After the couple took care to make sure that Robert had enough water, Ryan led the way back inside and to the kitchen.  He then helped Lycoris to set the puppies down on the floor so that they could start dinner.  Turning to her, Ryan said,

"So we'll cook spaghetti for dinner.  I'll take care of cooking the noodles while you can do the sauce.  Sound good?"

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I'm ok with that. Just show me what to do and I'll do my best."

She put her hand to her chest confidently, telling Ryan she could be trusted.

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "I know you will."

He then took out the ingredients that they would need for dinner.  Then Ryan took care of preparing the ingredients for the sauce and once they were placed inside a small saucepan, Ryan set the stove so the sauce would heat.  He took out a wooden spoon and handing it to Lycoris, he said,

"Ok, the sauce will be heating up.  Make sure to stir it every now and then.  You'll know when it's ready when the sauce starts bubbling a lot.  Just tell me then and I'll take care of the next steps."

Lycoris nodded and after having listened carefully, she nodded and replied,

"Ok, I understand. Umm I'll be seeing what you're making in the meantime but I can hear the bubbles when it's done, right? In that case, I am all ready."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, that's right and don't worry.  I'll be cooking right next to you and I'll look at the sauce, too."

He then took a pot and after filling it with water, he set it to boil.  Then he placed dried noodles in it and occasionally stirred it until the noodles were limp.

Lycoris took care of stirring the sauce as well meanwhile and did so carefully so that things would go smoothly. After a while, it started boiling so she said,

"Ryan, I think it's finished now, right?"

Ryan noticed the sauce as indeed starting to boil and nodding, he replied,

"Yup, it sure is, and the noodles are just about ready, too."

He then turned off the heat and drained the water out of the pot.  As he proceeded to plate the noodles and sauce, he asked,

"Would you like anything else for dinner, Lycoris, or is spaghetti enough?"
