Romance RP

The horse nodded and whinnied happily.  Blushing, Ryan replied, "Aww, my angel does compliment me most wonderfully but you'll be treated well here, Robert.  And ahh, I'll make sure to put a horse blanket on you before we go to sleep, ok?"

He turned to Lycoris and asked, "Should I put a canvas tent to protect Robert as well.  I don't have a stable but a canvas tent should provide him with some shelter from the elements."

Lycoris looked confused and replied, "What is a canvas tent, Ryan? I've never heard of such a thing before but umm, if it's going to protect Robert and provide him more comfort, then you should definitely do so."

Ryan nodded and replied, "All right.  I'll show you after dinner then.  I can cast a minor spell to erect a canvas tent to protect Robert."

He looked to the horse and said, "We should leave you to your dinner but we'll be back after we have ours, ok?"

The horse nodded and whinnied happily in reply.

Lycoris smiled a little and said, "Enjoy your dinner, Robert."

She then waited for Ryan to lead the way back inside the house so they would have their own dinner as well.

Gently holding on to Lycoris' arm, Ryan then led the way back inside the house and to the kitchen.  Once there, Ryan helped Lycoris into a seat.  Then looking at her, he asked,

"What would you like for dinner, Lycoris?  If you don't have anything in mind, I thought I'd try to bake a roast chicken along with mashed potatoes and gravy and buttermilk biscuits."

(Hmm, that actually sounds good to me although it's too late to eat now.  XD)

(lol It sounds quite delicious to me as well. XD)

Lycoris looked quite curious as she heard Ryan mention all those food's names but she couldn't recognize any of them. Giggling awkwardly, she replied,

"Aww Ryan, you can go ahead and cook whatever you like. I'm sure it will taste as delicious as ever and I am curious to try new things."

(Ahh curious but have you tried the Fate/stay night visual novel? I got my hands on it recently and it's quite addictive. XD)

(Nope, I haven't although I've heard of it.  Is it really good?  XD)

Ryan chuckled and replied, "All right then.  You rest here and play with our boys while I go cook us some delicious food."

He gave Lycoris a kiss on her forehead and then approaching the icebox and cupboard, he proceeded to take out the ingredients he would need to prepare their dinner.

(Ahh to be brief, it's definitely the best visual novel I've tried yet. XD It's not quite interactive like other games-you can only make choices in between-but the story and graphics are superb. I can send you the link sometime if you're interested although it's a bit on the huge side. XD)

Lycoris waited patiently as Ryan cooked dinner for them, looking forward to it as she felt quite hungry. She petted the puppies gently in her arms as she waited.

Ryan continued to cook dinner and after a while, he was all done.  He set bowls of food and water on the floor for the puppies.  Then he brought plates of food for Lycoris and himself.  On each plate, there was a generous portion of roast chicken, mashed potatoes topped with gravy, and a couple of biscuits.  Then he placed utensils and glasses of pineapple juice.

After everything was all set, Ryan took a seat beside Lycoris and wrapping his left arm around her waist, he activated the shared eyesight spell and said,

"Dinner's all ready.  Let me know what you think."

(No problem. I hope you'll enjoy it. ^^ I'll send you the link once I get on my laptop since I'm on my brother's computer at the moment. XD)

Lycoris was curious as she could smell the delicious food and as Ryan activated the eyesight spell, it looked even more delicious to her. Taking her fork, she carefully reached out for a piece of her chicken and had a bite. After a moment, she smiled delightfully and happily said,

"Yum, this is really delicious, Ryan. It's really good."

(Ok.  ^^)

Ryan smiled and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris.  I'm happy you like it and I made plenty so if you want seconds, all you have to do is ask."

He then took his fork and began eating his food.  Meanwhile, the puppies had already started to eat theirs, too.

Lycoris nodded happily and continued eating her food, enjoying how delicious it was. Although she ate slowly, she could truly enjoy and savor every bite. She happily commented,

"You are a really good cook, Ryan. I guess it's just another of your so many talents you're excellent at."

Ryan chuckled happily and replied,

"Aww thanks, my angel.  Cooking all of this makes it worth it as long as my angel enjoys it."

Thinking of something, he then said, "Ahh if you'd like to stay around here tomorrow, I can bake us some chocolate chip cookies as a snack.  Have you ever had them?"

Lycoris looked curious and shaking her head, she replied, "No, I haven't tasted them before but are they made of chocolate? Then they must be quite delicious. Chocolate is so good."

She looked delighted at the idea, as she loved anything associated with chocolate.

Ryan grinned and replied, "Yup, they are and I know how much you like chocolate so I'm sure you'll enjoy them.  There are many kinds of cookies out there but I think chocolate chip cookies are the best.  And they go great with milk."

He looked thoughtful and then added, "So we'll bake cookies tomorrow.  And if you're ever in the mood for dessert, I can bake pies and cakes, too."

Lycoris cheered happily and replied,

"Yays, I can't wait now. I am sure you'll bake the best cookies ever. Ryan, my guardian angel, the best cook ever."

She had a happy smile over her face, almost a grin, as she proudly declared that.

Ryan blushed and replied, "Aww thanks, my angel.  I hope you'll like them."

He continued to eat his dinner and was soon all done.  The puppies finished up soon afterwards.

Ryan smiled and replied, "I'm happy that my angel enjoyed dinner.  Would you like more?  I made plenty.  If not, I'll put the leftovers away."

Lycoris shook her head and replied,

"Nope, I'm feeling pretty full now. The food is really delicious but if I have anymore, I'll start gaining weight and end up getting fat."

She giggled a bit over her comment.

Ryan chuckled and replied, "That would never happen and even if it did, my angel would always be beautiful, regardless.

I'll go ahead and clean up here and then we can go see Robert."

He got up from his seat and began clearing away the dishes and bowls and such.

Lycoris waited patiently as Ryan took care of cleaning up and putting away the leftovers, holding the puppies in her arms. She wondered how they could spend the rest of their evening after checking on Robert, although they'd turn in early for the night.

Ryan continued to take care of the clean up and after a little time passed, he was all done.  He then took a fresh carrot out of the icebox and approaching Lycoris, he said,

"I'm all done and I hope that Robert will like this carrot for dessert."

He helped Lycoris to her feet and gently held her arm as the couple left the kitchen and headed outside to visit the horse.

Lycoris followed Ryan to outside where Robert was and soon, the couple made it to their horse. She happily smiled and greeted him with,

"Hey, Robert. Are you done with your dinner? Did you enjoy it?"

The horse whinnied happily and nodded his head in reply.  Ryan smiled and replied, "I think that's a yes."

He turned to Lycoris and handing the carrot to her, he asked, "Would you like to feed Robert, Lycoris?  I'm sure he'd be happy to have an angel feed him."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)
