Romance RP

Lisianthus and Irene began eating their breakfast as well and Lycoris would eat as Ryan would feed her too. She really felt grateful to everything that he's been doing for her and didn't know how she could ever thank him enough.

The ladies were soon finishing up their breakfast and they waited for Lycoris and Ryan to finish as well.

Ryan and Lycoris soon finished their breakfast and the puppies did, too.  Ryan then helped the others to put away the empty dishes and utensils on trays for the maids to take later.  He turned to Lisianthus and asked,

"Do you have a lot of work to do this morning, beautiful?"

Lisianthus smiled and shaking her head, she replied,

"Just the usual. I'll be done with it and then come here as soon as I can. Uhh I'll have to go now, though, to the chapel. I'll see Alex and Nerine off and all."

She said that tentatively as Lycoris was in the room, although she didn't say anything.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ahh yes, of course.  Please send my best wishes to them."

Using his telepathy on Lisianthus, he then continued,

I wish they would reconsider, for Lycoris' sake, but I know how Nerine can be.

Lisianthus sighed and replied telepathically,

She wouldn't agree and as I mentioned, you and Lycoris are leaving anyways. It wouldn't make much sense to ask them to stay if you two are going.

Irene got up and said, "Well, let us go, Lisianthus. I have my academy to head to and you have your work to take care of."

Lisianthus nodded to her and after giving Ryan a quick kiss, she said, "I'll be back around lunchtime. See you."

She waved goodbye and Irene nodded to them, then both left the healers' room.

After the ladies left, Ryan turned to Lycoris and said,

"And you have a busy morning, too, Lycoris.  One of the healers should be here soon to prepare you for the surgery.  I'll stay with you, though.  I promise."

Lycoris reached out to touch Ryan's hand and replied,

"You will, right? I don't want to be alone through it. It-it's such a painful process and I have to be awake through it. But if you remain by my side and let me hold your hand, perhaps I can go through it safely. So please don't leave me for a moment, ok?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "I will.  I'll ask the healers if they'll let me sit beside you and hold your hand while you go through the surgery.  And the puppies will sit in my lap so you'll have all of us to support you."

The puppies barked in confidence to Ryan's comment.

Lycoris smiled gratefully and replied, "Thanks, Ryan. And thank you, little ones. I don't know what I'd have done without you."

The head healer and a couple of healers soon approached the pair and smiling, the head healer spoke up,

"Good morning. I am glad to see our lady all awake. Are you all ready for the operation?"

Lycoris nodded slowly although she held on tightly to Ryan's hand for comfort.

Ryan looked to the head healer and asked,

"Sir, if it isn't too much trouble, would it be all right if I hold on to Lycoris' hand while she goes through the surgery?  I want to support and help her in any way that I can."

The head healer looked a little hesitant and replied, "Hmm but sir, you'll have to leave the room during the operation, I'm afraid. It's how things go and all-"

Lycoris interrupted him with, "Please, sir. I-I don't want to go through the operation alone. I don't want Ryan away from me for a moment."

The head healer sighed and nodding, he replied, "Alright. I suppose it wouldn't hurt."

Ryan smiled at the head healer and replied, "Thank you, sir.  I promise my presence will be as least intrusive as possible."

He then turned to Lycoris and gently said, "I'll hold your hand and I hope you can feel my presence.  I won't leave you ever."

Lycoris smiled a little and replied softly, "I know I will feel your presence as long as you remain by my side."

The healers then approached her bed and after making her lie down, they began preparing her for the operation.

After Ryan made sure that the puppies were seated comfortably in his lap, he held on to Lycoris' hand, watching the healers as they prepared her for the operation.  He hoped that his presence would give Lycoris comfort and support and he wanted her to know that he would never leave her-that he would always be with her.

After Lycoris was all ready for the operation, the head healer began revealing Lycoris' injured eyes. The three of them then started chanting a spell and there was a strong light covering both of her eyes. Lycoris' body cringed in pain and she held on tightly to Ryan's hand.

Ryan watched in interest as the healers performed the healing spell on Lycoris' eyes.  He gently squeezed Lycoris' hand as though silently letting her know that he was still with her.

The puppies stayed silent as well, knowing that something important was happening and any noise wouldn't be welcome.

The healers continued casting the spell on Lycoris and the light over her eyes would only get more intense. She moaned in pain and although sometimes she would scream, she would still feel Ryan's touch and it would calm her a bit.

This process went on for a couple of hours in which the healers were quite careful, before it was finally done and the light faded away, revealing Lycoris' blue eyes, now all healed.

Ryan noticed that Lycoris' eyes were all healed although he knew that she wouldn't be able to see on her own.  But at least he could safely use the shared eyesight spell with her again.

He looked to the head healer but didn't say anything, in case the healers weren't finished with their work on Lycoris' eyes.

The healers took their breathes and one of them helped Lycoris lie down comfortably on the bed, as she looked extremely exhausted.

The head healer turned to Ryan then and smiling, he said,

"Thank goodness, everything went smoothly. Now as I've already instructed, she must get a lot of rest. We'll keep her here for today and if everything is ok, she'll be free to go tomorrow morning."

Ryan returned the smile and nodding, he replied, "I understand.  I'll make sure that Lycoris gets a lot of rest and doesn't get disturbed.  Thank you for everything, sir."

The puppies looked at Lycoris, happy that she was all right.

The head healer nodded and replied, "You're most welcome. I'll be nearby in case you need anything. Please excuse me."

He bowed then took his leave, with his fellow healers following suit.

After the healers left, Ryan turned to Lycoris and gently asked,

"How do you feel, Lycoris?  You certainly look better."

Lycoris took her breathes slowly and tiredly replied,

"I-I can't feel pain over my eyes any longer but I-I feel so tired and weak, like I'm drained of all energy."

As she took her breathes, she quietly asked, "Are-are my eyes all healed now? Am I back to normal?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "They are.  They look better than ever."

Getting an idea, he then asked, "Lycoris, would you like to take a nap before lunch?  The head healer said that you should get lots of rest today and then you can be out of here tomorrow."

Lycoris nodded slowly and replied, "I-I could use that. I can hardly remain conscious."

She paused then said, "Would it be too much if I asked you to hold me in your arms as I sleep? Please. I'd be feel safer."
