Romance RP

Lycoris shook her head and replied, "Not really. I was going to teleport us to somewhere else in the same room."

But thinking about it, she said, "But since you mention it, I want to try teleporting us somewhere further, like the gardens. I can do that if I concentrate, right?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, that's right.  Just envision the destination where you want to go and the teleport spell should work to take you there.  I'll help you out if there are any mistakes so you don't have to worry, ok?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok. I'll give it a try then."

She reached out to hold Ryan's hand and then concentrating as much as possible, she envisioned the gardens in her mind and then cast the spell, teleporting both of them to there successfully.

Ryan looked around after Lycoris used the teleportation spell and smiling, he commented,

"Wow, that was wonderful, Lycoris.  We're right in the gardens.  I'm amazed that you cast the spell so successfully."

Lycoris smiled delightfully, surprised but quite happy with her success. She replied,

"It's all thanks to you, Ryan. I wouldn't have been as good if I hadn't had a wonderful teacher as you. Your encouragement pushes me to go on."

Ryan blushed and replied, "Aww thanks but you're a wonderful student.  You learn and pick up spells quite easily.  Most students wouldn't be able to learn this spell in one lesson.

So now that you're able to cast this spell, how about teleporting us back to the training room?"

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Sure."

Holding Ryan's hand, she cast the spell once more, teleporting them back to the training room.

Seeing that the two of them were back in the training room, the puppies barked happily at seeing their return.  Ryan chuckled and commented,

"It sounds like our boys are worried but there was no need to.  We wouldn't leave them."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"Aww of course not. Sorry, little ones. I hope we didn't leave you alone for too long. We won't do it again."

The puppies barked happily and Ryan commented,

"They forgive us but I think to be on the safe side, we'll only teleport within this room for the rest of your lesson."

He looked thoughtful and then added, "I should eventually teach you how to maintain a defensive shield while teleporting.  That combination would be extremely useful."

Lycoris looked thoughtful and replied,

"But that spells sound a lot more difficult, right? To be able to cast two spells at once would require a lot of energy, correct?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "That's right.  It can be done but it does take quite a bit of magical energy.  I think it's better to wait another day to try out the combination since we've used some magic today and it would be best to try it out when we're more fully rested."

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied,

"Ok then. If you say so."

Wondering how much left is left of their lesson, she asked,

"Are you going to teach me something else or are we done for the day?"

Seeing that there wasn't enough time to teach another spell in the remaining time, Ryan replied,

"Hmm, I think we should stop for today but we'll meet again after lunch, right?  Then it'll be my turn to be your student."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"Aww don't say that. You'll be always my dear, honorable teacher for me and I'm proud to be your student.

You should go ahead and have lunch and rest for a while now. You'll find me waiting here after that."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that sounds good but you're going to rest and have lunch, too, right?  I could escort you to your room or if you want, you could join us in the dining room.  It'll only be a few of us in there-me, Sia, Avi, and maybe Duke Collins.  Duchess Irene went to the academy and the others are out and won't be back until around dinner."

Lycoris shook her head and replied,

"Thank you for inviting me, Ryan, but I'll just eat at my room. There's no need to escort me-you can go on and the soldier will take me to there."

She wanted to avoid everyone else for now, especially Avi and Duke Collins.

Ryan nodded and replied, "All right.  I'll trust the soldier to take you back to your room.  I'll see you this afternoon then."

He gave Lycoris a quick hug and the puppies a gentle pat on their heads and then left the training room, heading towards the dining room to have lunch.

In the dining room, Lisianthus and Avi were waiting patiently for Ryan to join them. There was no one else, for even Duke Collins was out in the city this afternoon, and would be back at dinner.

(Lycoris should have joined Ryan and the others for lunch, after all.  XD)

Ryan smiled to Lisianthus and Avi and taking a seat next to Lisianthus, he said,

"Wow, it looks like it's just the three of us here for lunch.  Where's Duke Collins?  Not that I'm missing him, of course."

(lol She still wants to avoid everyone else and especially Avi. XD)

Lisianthus giggled happily over Ryan's comment and replied,

"Hey, cutie. Duke Collins is in the city for the day-said he had a lot of business to attend there and won't be back before dinner. So yup, it's just us here."

She asked the nearby maid to fetch lunch which she left to do right away.

(Yup, I can see that.  XD)

Ryan smiled and replied, "I feel a lot more at ease since it's just the three of us.  How did you two spend the morning?"

He looked to Lisianthus and Avi.

Lisianthus replied, "It was nothing out of the usual for me. Just work, work, work and more work. Hee, hee, you could call that boring even."

Avi smiled at Lisianthus' comment and replied, "I spent the morning in the library myself. Yup, nothing too interesting here either. How was your lesson with Lycoris?"

Ryan replied, "It went pretty well.  Lycoris is becoming more powerful with each lesson.  She's quite amazing and a wonderful student to teach."

He looked to Lisianthus and said, "Lycoris wants to teach me light magic this afternoon, beautiful, so I hope it's ok.  We'll have this evening for ourselves, right?"

Lisianthus looked interested and replied,

"Sure, cutie, but wow, you're going to start learning light magic? And Lycoris is going to teach you?"
