Alex nodded and replied, "I hope so. Lycoris would have company and Rosaline won't feel as lonely. This is a good solution."

He continued to eat his breakfast and was soon full.

Ryan wrapped his arms lovingly around Lisianthus, enjoying her warmth and presence as well. As things seemed quiet for the moment, Ryan just wanted to relax and not have any other worries on his mind.

Nerine saw that Alex was done and asked a maid to come take the tray. A maid soon arrived and carried the tray away and once she left, Nerine turned to Alex and said,

"Are you feeling a little better? Maybe I should leave you to take a nap or something. You must be exhausted."

After a little while had passed, a soldier asked to come in and Lisianthus gave him the permission. He then said,

"Your majesty, dinner is all ready. Would you like us to fetch it here?"

Lisianthus turned to Ryan and asked, "What do you think, cutie? We could eat here by ourselves or go have dinner with everyone else."

Alex replied, "A nap would be good but would you stay with me, darling? Unless watching me sleep is boring."

He looked a little cutely at Nerine, hoping that she'd stay.

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "It's up to you, beautiful. We could eat here and have a romantic meal but I'd be fine with eating with everyone else as well. The company would be good."

Nerine smiled softly at Alex and replied, "Of course, Alex. You can sleep in my lap even if you want. Whatever makes you comfortable."

She sat on the bed close to Alex.

Lisianthus looked thoughtful then asked the soldier to fetch dinner to the tent, which he left to obey. She looked to Ryan and said,

"I thought a romantic meal would be more fun for us, cutie."

Alex cuddled closer to Nerine and gently, he laid his head on her lap and soon fell asleep, feeling exhausted but happy and relieved.

Ryan grinned and replied, "I agree with you there, beautiful. I love having alone romantic dinners with you."

Nerine stroked Alex's hair gently as he slept, feeling relieved that he was back to her safely. However, she still had to figure out a way to make Alex forget about Lycoris or care less about her, as it didn't escape her how worried he was about her and how insistent he was upon going to save her and endangering himself for her.

Lisianthus grinned and replied, "Same here, cutie."

The soldier asked to enter again and once inside, he presented the couple with dinner. It was a simple one, not luxurious like the ones they used to have at the mansion, but it was still delicious and tasty. He then bowed and left.

(Hmm, Nerine's going to have a very difficult time trying to make Alex forget about Lycoris.)

Alex continued to sleep, unconsciously wrapping his arms around Nerine's waist. He had a blissful smile on his face and he dreamed about Lycoris, safe and happy in his arms.

After the soldier left, Ryan helped Lisianthus into a seat and then he took a seat across from her. Looking at the dinner before them, he commented,

"This looks delicious, beautiful. Let's eat."

(Yup, definitely but she thinks it's possible if she continues scaring Lycoris away from Alex and making her remain as far as possible from him.)

Nerine felt Alex wrapping his arms around waist and she continued stroking his hair happily, enjoying this quiet moment with him in her arms.

Lisianthus nodded happily and she started eating away, enjoying the delicious food but more so, the enjoyable company with her love.

(O.O Now that's scary.)

Alex continued to sleep happily in Nerine's company, having happy dreams about Lycoris and how she was safe and sound.

After a couple of hours passed, Alex woke up and sleepily, he looked into Nerine's eyes.

(I hope it's ok that I fast forwarded this. I didn't want to keep posting about Alex taking a nap. lol)

Ryan continued to eat happily as well and as the couple ate, he commented,

"You know, it doesn't matter where we eat or what we eat as long as I'm with you, beautiful."

(lol Ahh yup, it's fine. ^^ And man, if Nerine knows that Alex was sleeping in her lap to dream about Lycoris. She'd go mad or something. XD)

Nerine saw that Alex had woken up and smiling to him, she said,

"Good afternoon, Alex. You slept well?"

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Same here, cutie. I am fine eating anything and anywhere as long as I am with you. You're the one who truly supplies me with energy and strength."

(lol Yup, I'd agree. XD)

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I did. I felt happy and safe with you here. I hope it wasn't too boring watching me sleep."

Ryan grinned and replied, "I feel exactly the same when it comes to you, beautiful. Just being in your presence gives me all the energy and strength I need to face anything."

Nerine shook her head and replied, "Not at all. I am glad you could rest well. You look better now."

Lisianthus blushed happily and smiling lovingly, she replied, "I'll make sure to enlighten you with my presence always then. We're important for each other. I think without you, I wouldn't be able to live a minute more. You're my light and hope for a better life."

Alex sat up and replied, "I feel better. You know, I'm in the mood for a walk in the garden. I could use the exercise. Would you like to walk with me, darling?"

Ryan blushed and replied, "It's obvious that we need each other. I'm so lucky to have you, beautiful."

He paused in his eating and reached out to touch Lisianthus' left hand with his right hand.

Nerine smiled and nodding, she replied, "Sure, that would be fine."

She got up and after Alex did the same, she held his arm and followed him downstairs to the garden.

Lisianthus returned the gesture and smiling sweetly to Ryan, she replied, "And I am lucky to have you, cutie."

She smiled shyly to him and continued eating, soon finishing up.

Alex led the way as they went outside to the castle gardens to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful sunshine. He felt happy being in Nerine's company although a part of him wondered how Lycoris was doing and if she was feeling better now that she was safely back in the castle.

Ryan finished his dinner soon after Lisianthus did and once they were both done, he said,

"I'll go clean up, beautiful."

He began gathering the plates and utensils.

As the couple walked happily in the garden, Rosaline was sitting on a bench with the puppies, enjoying the fresh air as well and giving the puppies some time to play around. She saw the couple and waved to them happily but didn't approach them in case they wanted some private time.

Lisianthus got up and gathered the plates and utensils with Ryan, cleaning up with him. Once they were done, she led him to the cushions once more and cuddling close to him, she said,

"I never get enough of your company, cutie."

Alex noticed Rosaline sitting on the bench and waved back at her. Turning to Nerine, he said,

"Let's go say hi."

Inside, he wondered why Lycoris wasn't with her so he had another reason for wanting to talk to Rosaline.

Ryan wrapped his arms lovingly around Lisianthus and grinning, he replied,

"And I can never get enough of your company, beautiful. So we can spend the rest of the evening like this, wrapped in each other's arms and loving each other for all time."

Nerine nodded and followed Alex to where Rosaline was. She smiled to the couple and said,

"Hey, you two. Did you get enough rest, Alex?"

Lisianthus laid her head on Ryan's shoulder happily and replied,

"All the same here, my cutie. You know, this is like some sort of vacation, camping like that. Well, it's dangerous but if it stays like so for some time, it's definitely like a vacation."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I did. My darling fed me breakfast and then I took a nap. I feel much more refreshed now."

He paused for a moment and then asked, "How is Lycoris doing?"

Ryan grinned and replied, "It definitely is. It's like an adventure and vacation all wrapped up in one and it's the best being here with you."

He enveloped Lisianthus in a loving hug and gazed happily into her eyes.

Rosaline showed a trouble look for a moment but smiling again, she replied,

"She's going to be alright. I helped her shower and change but she didn't want to eat anything. She wanted to rest and didn't want me to remain with her. I tried telling her otherwise but she insisted. I told a maid to keep checking on her quietly, though, to make sure she's fine."

Lisianthus returned the hug lovingly and replied, "Definitely, cutie. Without you around, I think I would have been quite stressed and depressed about all of this but you make me quite optimistic."

Alex was troubled to hear that Lycoris refused to eat but he replied,

"I'm glad that you talked to a maid to check on Lycoris. I should check on her later. There is something I wanted to talk to you about and it has to do with Lycoris' protection. I think you can help but I don't want you to feel forced into it or anything like that."

Ryan smiled lovingly and replied, "I'll be your strength, beautiful, as you are mine."

He gently touched her cheeks and said, "I've never felt so much love for anyone before."

Rosaline smiled comfortingly to Alex and asked, "Do you want me to look after her? It wouldn't be trouble at all, Alex. I'd be more than happy to do so. Lycoris is nice to be around and I wouldn't mind."

Lisianthus blushed happily and gazing into Ryan's eyes, she replied, "Promise me that you'll always love me this much, cutie."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, I'd like that very much. I know that you used to be my darling's personal bodyguard and I feel that you'd be able to look after Lycoris. When I talked to the chancellor earlier, he wanted to use soldiers to protect her but after what happened, I didn't think that was such a good idea. But I know you'd look after her and you two can keep each other company."

Ryan smiled lovingly and replied, "I can definitely keep that promise, beautiful, as long as you promise to love me just as much."

Rosaline smiled and nodded. She replied, "Consider it done. It will give me company, too, especially since I feel a little lonely after Bryan was locked up. I mean, you two are great company and all but I understand you'd want some privacy at times and everything. Plus, Lycoris won't have to remain in her room all day so it works for everyone."

Lisianthus grinned and nodding immediately, she replied, "Of course, cutie! Forever and for eternity, you're my one and only love and king!"

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, it does. If Lycoris protests over this idea, let me know and I'll talk to her about it. I can trust you to look after her until Avi is released."

He paused for a moment and then added, "Meh, that chancellor refused to let Avi go to look after Lycoris. That was originally what I thought of but he refused."

Ryan looked on happily at Lisianthus and he leaned in to give her the sweetest, most passionate kiss yet.

(Hmm, I wonder how many kisses they have a day on average. XD)
