William grinned and replied, "Great then."

He finished eating soon and getting up, he said, "I'll go ahead and take care of the bill. Be right back."

He left to take care of the payments.

Rosaline nodded and sadly replied, "That's probably it. I just feel terrible to see these two like that and especially Nerine-she's been my friend for a long time and after we rejoined paths, I wanted to see her happy, not like this. Urgh, I feel like jumping at Alex and eating him at times but that wouldn't do any good now, would it?"

Stacey and Megan finished up their meal as William went to take care of the payment. They were soon done and all they had to do was wait for William to return.

Bryan couldn't help but laugh a little over Rosaline's comment about wanting to eat Alex but after calming down, he replied,

"It wouldn't and I wouldn't be happy to find my best friend eaten by my love."

William took care of paying for the meals then returned to Megan and Stacey. Offering his arm and his hand, he said,

"Shall we go, my pretty ladies?"

Rosaline smiled as she saw Bryan laughing and nodding, she replied,

"Yup, figured that much. Man, I can't see why Alex can't be like you, Bryan. Good-minded and knows the right thing to do rather than run after his feelings and what he wants, hurting everyone in the process. I really wonder if it bothers him at times or if he is completely clueless about it."

Stacey happily held William's arm while Megan held William's hand and Stacey replied,

"Yup, we're ready, handsome. Lead the way."

Bryan replied, "Well, it's not completely his fault, I think. This is a trait that runs in Alex's family-or at least in the male members. It gets more under control when they get older or so I've heard."

William led the way happily out of the restaurant and back to the inn. After a while, the family made it there and he led the way to their room, where they all started getting their stuff to go to the beach.

Rosaline looked at Bryan curiously, "You mean being careless and falling in love with other women at the same time? That sounds like a disturning trait there."

Stacey and Megan packed their bags with their swimsuits, towels, and other beach items. They soon finished and waited for William to do the same so that they could head to the beach and have a fun afternoon.

Bryan nodded and replied, "It is, indeed. The men in Alex's family tend to love a little too much, if that makes sense. They use too much of their hearts and not enough of their brains."

(It's starting to get late here so I should get off for the night now and get some sleep. I'll check back tomorrow and post again. Nite, nite, Love. ^^)

William was done getting his things as well and seeing Stacey and Megan all done too, he led the way out of the inn and towards the beach.

Rosaline looked thoughtful and replied, "I see. Well, I don't think Nerine will wait till Alex gets older so that he controls his feelings better. But he knows about this, right? Why doesn't he try to fight back and get things under control to save his marriage and the one he loves? Or is he enjoying his time and this is a possible excuse?"

Stacey and Megan happily walked on each side of William as they left the inn and headed towards the beach. It took several minutes but soon enough, they arrived. Looking around, Stacey observed that there were some people at the beach but it wasn't too crowded. She turned to the others and said,

"Let's change into our swimsuits and meet on the beach."

She held Megan's hand and led her into the women's restroom to change.

Bryan replied, "I'm not sure. I think Alex does try but I get the feeling that he and Nerine aren't always communicating in a way that will help them to understand each other. Maybe they've tried to before but it hasn't worked? If so, perhaps having someone to mediate might help?"

Meanwhile, William went into the men's bathroom and changed out of his clothes and into his swimsuit. Once he was all ready, he went out of the bathroom with his bag in his hand and waited for Stacey and Megan.

Rosaline nodded and replied, "Maybe that's it. Maybe a friend or perhaps one of those people who help married couples with their troubles? A counselor or something. Maybe that could help."

Stacey and Megan changed into their swimsuits as well and once they were ready, they left the bathroom with Stacey holding their bags. Seeing William all ready, they happily approached him and Stacey said,

"Let's go swimming."

Bryan replied, "That could help. We should talk to Alex and Nerine about the idea. If they're willing to make their marriage, this could be the best option yet."

William nodded happily and led the way to a spot on the beach where they put down their bags. Then he turned to the sea and happily said,

"How about a race to the water?"

Rosaline nodded and replied, "That sounds good. For now, let's enjoy the morning."

The party continued walking around the gardens, enjoying the beautiful sights and fresh scents as the hours of the morning passed on.

Megan nodded happily and replied, "Sure!"

Stacey grinned and replied, "Let's get in the water. On the count of three then."

Everyone continued to enjoy the morning, spending time in the gardens. As Alex was with Lycoris and Avi, he turned to her and asked,

"Do you like the gods' world a lot, Lycoris?"

William nodded happily and once Stacey counted to three, they all ran happily to the water, racing each other.

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I sure do. It's such a beautiful world so far and everything feels and smells great. But I liked the humans' world, too. Both of them were wonderful."

Stacey and Megan ran with William to the water and once they were in, they splashed around, enjoying the coolness. Stacey made sure that they were in shallow water so it would be easier to wade and swim around in.

Alex smiled softly and replied, "I'm happy that you're happy, Lycoris. I want you to experience as much of the world as possible. There's so many beautiful things to explore. I know you want to learn more magic but is there anything else you'd like to experience?"

William swam as well and enjoyed himself in the cool water, splashing Stacey and Megan as well and having lots of fun.

Lycoris looked thoughtful but then shaking her head, she replied,

"Nope, not really. I just want to learn more magic so I'll be able to be more skilled and do more things. I've always liked magic and I want to be powerful, so I can protect myself and the ones I love."

(Btw, I'll be slow since I am studying in the same time and all. I hope that's fine. ^^)

(Ahh no problem. I want to get some work stuff done as well so it's all good. ^^)

Stacey and Megan did the same, splashing water at William and laughing happily all the same. Megan commented,

"This is so much fun."

Stacey added, "And the water feels great."

Alex smiled and softly replied, "That's a beautiful comment, Lycoris. I know you'll be a very powerful sorceress although I'll confess that I'll miss you. But once your training here is done, you and Avi will come to the human world, right? Mom and Dad should have a chance to meet you in your own body."

(Ahh that's good. ^^)

William nodded happily and laughing along with the girls, he replied,

"That's quite true. And it's very refreshing as well."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Of course. I'd like to see them again too. I really hope my training won't take that long because I'll miss you all as well but hopefully, it won't. I'll make sure to learn fast."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Yup, and thankfully, it's not too crowded today."

Megan replied, "That's good. We can swim lots."

Alex grinned and replied, "Good. Something good will come from all of this after. Once you become powerful, you can protect me and I would feel safe to be protected by my beautiful, kind, powerful wife."

William nodded and replied, "Yup and I'll splash you lots all I want."

He continued splashing water happily at Megan and Stacey.

Lycoris blushed happily and replied shyly, "I sure will. I'll do my best to protect all of us from whatever danger. And of course, I could let no harm ever come to you."

Stacey and Megan laughed happily and they splashed water back at William. The family continued to do, splashing each other and laughing away happily.

Alex blushed and replied, "And I'll do whatever it takes to protect you and make sure that you're happy. You are a part of my life, Lycoris, and nothing can ever change that."

(Sorry for logging off suddenly like that. The stupid electricity again. -.-)

William continued splashing his two girls happily and as they did, he turned to Megan and happily commented,

"Your idea was a wonderful one, pretty."

Lycoris blushed shyly as well but there was something weighing on her mind. She replied,

"Alex, are we right in what we're doing, saying right now? We promised Nerine not to be romantic with each other."

(Ahh it's ok although I'll be heading off to bed after this post. XD)

Megan blushed and continuing to splash William, she replied, "Yays! I'm happy you like it."

Stacey added, "This is a great idea and a wonderful way to enjoy the afternoon."

Alex sighed sadly and looking down at his feet, he replied, "I'd forgotten. But it's hard to turn off my feelings for you. It's not like I can just turn off a switch and no longer love you, you know."

William replied happily, "Yup and you know, this is better than the morning. It's less crowded, I think, and the sun isn't as hot and we'll get the chance to watch the sunset."

Lycoris sighed as well and replied, "I know but you're not trying at least. I am not either."

She paused for a moment then with a bit of worry over her face, she continued,

"Didn't you find it strange that Nerine left like that even though she knows that it would allow us to be alone together? Could she be really sick or something that she couldn't stay around?"

Megan nodded happily and replied, "Yup! This afternoon is great."

Stacey added, "It sure is and there are so few people here so it's like we get the place to ourselves."

Alex sighed and replied, "I don't know. I wanted to go be with my darling and keep her company but she wanted to be alone. I even talked to Bryan a little while ago but he thought it better that Nerine be alone since she's sleeping now."

William nodded happily and replied,

"That's true. It's like the sea is truly ours and there's lots of space to swim freely."

Lycoris looked sad for some moments and then sadly replied,

"We upset her again, didn't we?"
