(Ok. Nite, nite, Love. ^^)

Megan returned the hug and happily replied, "I'm so happy. I get to live with you and Stacey and be happy forever!"

Ms. Laura approached the trio and smiling, she said, "Megan has been waiting for this day. All her items are packed near the front door. It's a couple of suitcases as well as a couple of boxes. You might need to order a carriage to help move them."

Stacey turned to William and said, "That might be a good idea. You're strong and all but I don't know if you can carry that many all at once."

Ryan frowned and replied to Lisianthus, "We can't hide here forever. Melody will tire out eventually. Any ideas?"

Bryan turned to Rosaline and replied,

"Alex was vague on the details but basically, he said that Lisianthus' chancellor overthrew her and tried to hurt her so she and Ryan had no choice but to come to the human world for safety. He said, though, that the chancellor seemed ok, apart from trying to hurt Lisianthus, since he hadn't hurt him, Nerine, or Lycoris."

William nodded and replied, "Sure, that would be no problem. I can get a carriage to move the things to the hut and it would take less time than if I carry them myself. I'll get a carriage right away."

He went out of the orphanage briefly to find a carriage.

Lisianthus looked thoughtful and replying, she said,

"Maybe we could go back to him and I can fight him by the sword. It's a little of a risk but I can't think of anything else. And you're here so you can help by your magic if possible. If we could defeat him before the others return to his aid, that would be helpful."

Rosaline looked even more surprised as Bryan explained how the chancellor overthrew Lisianthus and how she and Ryan had to escape together. Suddenly remembering what Ryan had told her about the chancellor before, she replied,

"I remember now. Ryan talked to me a while after he went to the gods' world and he talked about how he wasn't comfortable around Sia's chancellor. It looks like he was right about him. But wait-you said he tried to hurt them? And they had to run away?"

She looked worried, for she was scared about Ryan and his safety.

A little nearby the orphanage, there was an available carriage. Meanwhile, Stacey, Megan, and Ms. Laura chatted happily, waiting for William to return.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sounds like a plan to me. You can be the sword and I'll be the shield in case he tries any dirty tricks."

He waited for Lisianthus to lead Melody out of the clouds to confront the leader.

Bryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's what Alex told me. But don't worry-they're all right. Lisianthus and Ryan are staying in Alex's and Nerine's house and although they've run into a few troubles, they're ok. We can go see them after I help Alex with this problem. Our tour is done anyway and I was planning on taking you back to our home."

William found an available carriage nearby and directed the driver to the orphanage. He then entered the orphanage and said,

"The carriage is here. I'll help the driver move the things."

Finding the suitcases and boxes near the front door, he and the driver put the things together in the carriage.

Lisianthus nodded and then directed Melody out of the clouds and near the leader. He saw them come out so smirking, he said,

"Finally decided to stop being a mouse, heh?"

Lisianthus frowned and summoning her sword again, she replied, "I am right here. Come on ahead and fight me like a man if you can, unless you are afraid of a woman."

Rosaline nodded and although she was still worried about Ryan, she decided that she might talk to him later telepathically. So she replied,

"That's good to hear. I hope they are well on their own. Ryan didn't let us know about any of this."

The driver helped William move Megan's suitcases and boxes of items into the carriage and once that was done, he sat in his seat to await for the party. There were some children with Ms. Laura and they said their goodbyes to Megan. Ms. Laura hugged Megan and said,

"Good luck and we'll miss you."

Ms. Laura then turned to William and Stacey and said, "I know you two will make wonderful parents."

Ryan smirked and added, "I think he is afraid of a woman, especially a beauty like yourself."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's true. He could have contacted us if he needed a place to stay in Devenshire. I wouldn't have minded letting him and Lisianthus stay at the house. But maybe they were too busy with all that's happened to let us know."

William smiled to Ms. Laura and replied, "Thank you, Ms. Laura. We'll do our best to make sure that Megan is as happy as possible. We'll take care well of her."

He then turned to Megan and extending his hand to her, he said,

"Ready to go home, Megan?"

The leader rolled his eyes and replied, "We'll see right now who is afraid around here."

Getting out his sword, he made his attack at the couple but Lisianthus was quick to dodge it and the two began fencing, each fighting as hard as possible.

Rosaline nodded and replied, "That must be it. I'll contact him sometime soon and maybe know more details from him. I can't help but worry."

Megan took William's hand and nodding happily, she replied, "Yup, I am."

Megan said her goodbyes to Ms. Laura and the other children and Stacey talked to Ms. Laura for a minute, letting her know that she would drop by to see her at the new orphanage once they were all back from vacation.

Stacey held Megan's other hand and looking at William, she softly said, "Let's head home, handsome, and help Megan get settled."

Ryan kept Melody steady as Lisianthus and the leader fought one another. He kept a guard stance in the event that his magic was needed to defend Lisianthus.

Bryan smiled and reaching out to touch Rosaline's hand, he replied, "I understand, my love. I know how much you care about him and miss him. It's been lonely without him with us and I think our boys here can say the same."

He looked to the puppies and they barked in affirmation.

William nodded to Stacey and after saying goodbye to Ms. Laura and the other children, he led the way to outside where the carriage was waiting. He opened the door and after helping Stacey and Megan in, he got in as well and then gave the driver the directions to the hut.

Lisianthus and the leader continued fighting each other fiercely and as both were doing their best, it wasn't clear whether one was having an upper hand over the other. The leader, however, was pretty tough although that didn't bring Lisianthus down and she did her best to keep up.

Rosaline smiled as the puppies barked and nodding, she replied, "Yup, that sure is true. I was hoping that he have a peaceful time in the gods' world but it looks like things didn't go so well. Still, I hope he and Sia can make it out safely."

As the driver directed the horses to head away from the orphanage and towards the hut, Stacey turned to Megan and asked,

"Are you looking forward to living with us, Megan?"

Megan nodded happily and replied, "Yup. I've been waiting for today forever."

Ryan watched as the battle continued and silently cheered for Lisianthus, hoping that she could defeat the leader. It would show that the chancellor would have no choice left but to go after them himself if he wanted Lisianthus so badly.

Bryan nodded and replied, "Me, too, my love. I guess all we can do now is wait for Alex to get back to us so we can go to the gods' world. I am a little curious about it although I never thought I'd get to see it under these circumstances."

Meanwhile, Alex continued to escort Lycoris around the castle gardens, describing the flowers and so forth.

William smiled to Megan and replied happily,

"We did, too, Megan. The week seemed long to us but at least it's here now. We're looking forward to having you around us always now."

Lisianthus and the leader went on battling for a while but as both were getting tired, they backed off for a moment, each taking their breathes.

The leader groaned and said, "Not bad. But don't you think I'll lose to you. I'll beat you and I'll take the human and you if I can."

Lisianthus replied angrily, "Don't you dare even think of it. You'll have to kill me first before laying a hand on Ryan. The chancellor wants me. Let him stay out of it."

Rosaline nodded and replied, "I wonder how much it has changed. I guess we'll wait and see."

Meanwhile, as Alex escorted Lycoris around, Avi said,

"If Bryan and Rosaline would like to come soon, perhaps I could talk to the chancellor now? He'd understand and help them."

Megan grinned and replied, "Thanks. I'm happy to be living with you."

She then realized something and curiously asked, "Where will I sleep?"

Stacey replied, "If it's ok, you could stay in our room. Once our friends return, he'll help with the construction of your own room."

Ryan looked to Lisianthus and replied, "It's ok, Sia. If the chancellor wants me, it's all right. As long as you aren't harmed. I know you'll be protected and all I care about is your safety and I don't know. Maybe I can convince him to leave you alone."

He felt uncertain whether he could really do so but he had to give it an effort.

Alex nodded and replied, "That would be wonderful of you, Avi. I'm supposed to contact Bryan once I know how he and Rosaline will get here. I hope the chancellor will help."

William nodded, confirming what Stacey said and replied,

"I hope that would be okay with you, Megan. It will be only temporary and we're soon leaving for vacation so it won't be a trouble for a long time. But I promise we'll get you your own room as soon as it's possible."

Lisianthus turned to Ryan and with anger shining in her eyes, she replied fiercely,

"You won't, ok? One more time you say that and I swear by my name, Ryan, I'll have to fight you before anyone else. I won't let him have you. I'd tear him to pieces if he dares to take you away!"

The fight had put her in a sharp mood and the idea of losing Ryan to the chancellor simply hurt her.

Avi smiled and replied, "I am sure he will. I'll go talk to him then. Be right back."

He left the couple and headed towards the castle to search for the chancellor and talk to him.

Megan nodded and replied, "Yup, that would be fine. I'm just happy to finally have a home and family."

The carriage arrived at the entrance to the hut and the driver announced that they had arrived.

Despite Lisianthus' mood, Ryan couldn't help but smile a little and nodding, he replied, "Ok, beautiful. Now why don't you use that anger and defeat that moron for us?"

He winked playfully at Lisianthus and smirked slightly at the leader.

After Avi left, Alex turned his attention back to Lycoris and said, "I'm sure that Bryan will be able to talk sense into Nerine. He understands the situation and he knows me so I think he'll be able to get her to understand."

As the driver announced that they had arrived, William got out of the carriage then helped Stacey and Megan out. The driver got down the suitcases and boxes for him so after all was done, William paid him and then led the way to inside the hut.

Lisianthus turned her attention back to the leader and said, "Bring it on."

The leader marched forwards and the two began battling again, though Lisianthus was a little better this time, fighting more fiercely than before.

Lycoris smiled and replied, "I hope so too. I really don't want to be away from you or Nerine, Alex. In the same time, I want her happy but I don't know how it's possible if she hates me so much."

After everyone was inside, Megan looked around and said excitedly, "It looks as beautiful as I remembered."

Stacey smiled and said, "Let's move your things to the bedroom for now, ok?"

Stacey took a suitcase and helped to move Megan's items.

Ryan observed that Lisianthus was fighting better and he had hope that she could take down the leader.

He looked down to the ground to see how the others were faring.

Alex nodded and replied, "I understand, darling. If anything, Nerine's anger is misdirected. She shouldn't blame you for things that were ultimately your parents' decision. Unfortunately, they are no longer of this world so Nerine can't talk to them about it. But we'll do our best to help her understand. I don't want to abandon you at all."

William sat down on the coach meanwhile as Stacey and Megan put away Megan's things and such to give them privacy.

Meanwhile, the good soldiers were fighting the other two soldiers who were with the leader. There was also something new; the two soldiers who had fallen off their pegasuses before were back on them after they had calmed down, and were all fighting the good soldiers.

Lisianthus and the leader kept on fighting though Lisianthus looked to be on the verge of winning.

Lycoris smiled and replied, "Thanks, Alex. I really appreciate all the help. I know I am a burden, causing all of this trouble. Thank you for keeping up with me."

Stacey and Megan continued to move Megan's things and arrange them in the bedroom. Stacey gave Megan room in the closet and dresser drawers for Megan to put her clothes.

Once everything was arranged, the two ladies returned to William and each sat on one side beside him. Megan looked at William and said, "We finished putting my things away. Please tell me about this vacation. I'm excited about it."

Ryan noticed the battle below and frowned, thinking that the good soldiers would have more difficulty. Then he turned his attention back to Lisianthus and the leader and he saw that Lisianthus had the advantage. He hoped that she could take the leader down, as that would make subduing the other soldiers easier.

Alex shook his head and softly replied, "You can never be a burden to me, darling. I love you so much and I'll do everything in my power to assure your happiness. And you deserve to have a happy life just like everyone else."

William looked happily to Megan and replied,

"We're looking forward to it, too. Stacey suggested that the vacation be on a nearby town but on an island. It will be fun and we can enjoy different kinds of water sports."

Lisianthus and the leader kept on battling fiercely but at one point, Lisianthus finally could get the sword out of the leader's grip and put hers under his neck. However, before she could do that, he successfully slashed her right arm, the one she held the sword with, wounding her.

Not letting the wound distract her, she put the sword firmly under the leader's neck and huskily said,

"Now, now...will I hear you begging me for mercy? Or should I hear your prays as I finish you off?"

Lycoris couldn't help but blush over Alex's comment and smiling, she replied,

"I really don't know what to say, Alex. You flatter me with everything you say. I don't know if I deserve all of this. You're really a wonderful, kind person."

Stacey nodded and added, "It's a beach town but it won't be too crowded. And it's beautiful. There will be plenty of activities to do on the beach and there are nighttime activities, too. The arrangements have been made and we'll stay at a nice inn."

Megan looked excited and replied, "I like that. When are we leaving?"

As Ryan watched Lisianthus corner the leader, he was relieved that she had won but he hoped that he wouldn't hurt the leader, as he didn't want anyone killed despite what the chancellor had done to them.

Alex blushed and replied, "You're the wonderful, kind woman, darling, for saying such things about me. And you deserve all the compliments I'm giving you, for each one is true. I am truly a lucky man to have you in my life, you know."

William replied, "Would tomorrow be alright? The earlier, the better, right? We just need to pack a few things and we would be all ready. But as long as it's alright with everyone, of course."

Lisianthus held the sword firmly under the leader's neck, ignoring her bleeding arm. The leader groaned but as there was nothing he could do, he simply replied,

"Go ahead, cruel queen. Finish me. You want that, don't you? Go ahead."

Hardening her grip on his neck, Lisianthus replied angrily, "Shut up. I'll kill you right now, right here if I feel like it. You aren't one to tell me what to do, moron. Perhaps you should already say your goodbyes."

Lycoris blushed even deeper and hanging her head down in shyness, she replied,

"Aww Alex, I don't know what I did in life to be blessed by you. I really don't know how to thank you. I want to do something for you, too, but I don't know what."

Megan nodded and replied, "Yup, tomorrow would be great. I can't wait!"

Stacey smiled and said, "That would be fine with me as well. We just need to pack a few change of clothes and other necessities. And of course, we should make sure that a carriage is here to take us. I'm thinking we could leave after breakfast."

Ryan noticed the wound on Lisianthus' arm and taking out a handkerchief, he attempted to heal the wound as best he could. All the while, he whispered to Lisianthus,

"Please don't kill him. That's exactly what the chancellor wants."

Gently, Alex tilted Lycoris' chin upward and softly replied, "You don't have to do anything for me, darling. Just always be yourself and you'll always have my love and caring."

William nodded in agreement and replied, "That sounds fine to me. We can pack later today and after breakfast tomorrow, I'll get a carriage to carry everything and we can get going."

Lisianthus was pretty angry at the leader but as Ryan whispered to her to not kill him, she couldn't do it though she didn't mind it. She whispered back to him,

"What do I do with him then? He should get what he deserves."

Lycoris smiled happily to Alex and replied,

"If that is what really makes you happy, I'll be always smiling and be myself for you. It's the least I can do."

Megan nodded happily and replied, "I like that."

Seeing that there was some time before they needed to start packing, Stacey said, "How about we all take a walk? It's a beautiful day although I should change into something more comfortable first."

Ryan replied, "Let's take him as our prisoner. Once word reaches the chancellor, he might have no option left but to come here himself and then we'll finally have the advantage we've been looking for."

Alex wrapped an arm around Lycoris' shoulders and continued to walk with her through the gardens, describing the flowers and so forth, while waiting for Avi to return.

William nodded in agreement and replied, "I like the idea. It's a beautiful day outside and we'll enjoy our time. We can wait till you are done changing, pretty."

Lisianthus nodded and turning back to the leader, she replied harshly,

"Move on in front of me and go back right to the house. If you do one wrong move, be sure that I won't hesitate to finish you off in a moment."

The leader groaned but did as he was told, directing the pegasus back towards the house while Lisianthus kept her sword under his neck as a threat.

A while after, Avi returned to the couple and smiling to them, he said,

"Hey, you two. I have some good news. I talked to the chancellor and he agreed. He said he'll send over some messengers to help Bryan and Rosaline come here. But you'll need tell him where he can find them first."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Thanks, handsome. I won't be long."

She got up and after getting a comfortable change of clothes, she went into the bathroom to change.

As Lisianthus forced the leader back down, Ryan asked,

"How's the arm, beautiful? I've done my best to patch it up but I'll get a first aid kit once we're back in the house."

Alex nodded and replied, "Ahh that's great. I'll get the information from Bryan right away and let him know."

He turned to Lycoris and asked, "Darling, if it's ok, would you help me communicate with Bryan again?"
