William commented, "It looks like we have everything planned out then. Hopefully, the adoption process goes smoothly and Megan joins us so that she can also tell us how she would like her room to look like."

Irene nodded slowly, taking in what Ryan and Lisianthus were telling her. For some reason, too, she agreed with Ryan on his opinion; that the chancellor wanted him out of the way.

After a few minutes of silence, in which she looked thoughtful, she finally replied,

"I have a better plan for you two. It's more dangerous, true, but it can push the chancellor completely out of the way."

Stacey turned to William and nodding in approval, she replied,

"That's a great idea, handsome. Megan definitely should have some input on how she'd like her room to be so once the adoption is legalized, then we can figure out better how her room will be."

Mark replied, "Aye, that's true."

Ryan was curious to hear Irene's opinion and replied,

"What's your idea? I'd do anything to make sure that Sia is safe and happy."

William nodded happily and replied,

"Exactly. I am pretty excited for this, you know. I can't believe that Megan will be permanently with us and under our care and I won't have to meet her just once a week. I only hope that I can be a good father for her."

Irene looked seriously at Ryan and Lisianthus and replying, she said,

"Like I said, this is more dangerous but...the chancellor is doing all of this as Lisianthus' guardian. If we can pull the guardianship from him, he'll have no control whatsoever. In order to do so, I was thinking...if you two could run away somewhere and get secretly married. When the time is right, you'll come back, reveal your marriage and the chancellor won't be your guardian anymore, Lisianthus. You can file for a divorce later then if you'd like."

She looked at them, waiting for their reply. Lisianthus was surprised to hear Irene's idea and couldn't help but blush.

(I hope it's okay I borrowed your idea from the station. I thought it was a perfect idea for their problem and all. XD)

Mark smiled and replied, "I'm sure you will be, mate. I can see how much you care about Megan and I can tell that Stacey will be a good mom."

Stacey blushed and replied, "Thanks, Mark. It'll be wonderful to have a child here with us, filling this home with laughter and happiness."

Ryan blushed as well, glancing at Lisianthus and pondering over the idea. They were in love but under normal circumstances, it would have been too soon to consider getting married. Then again, Irene did have a point and guardianship would need to be taken away from the chancellor to ensure Lisianthus' safety.

Nodding, he looked into Lisianthus' eyes and said,

"I'd like to marry you, Sia. I do love you and Duchess Irene is right. If we marry secretly, then the chancellor won't know and you'll be safe. He'll no longer have any control over you."

William nodded and looking lovingly at Stacey, he said,

"I am sure Stacey will be a wonderful mom. If I may say, we're pretty lucky that Megan will become our child and in the same time, I think she's lucky to have us as her future parents as well."

He chuckled a little over his comment.

Lisianthus was blushing shyly and as Ryan looked into her eyes and said those beautiful words, she couldn't help but blush deeper. She pondered over the idea for a few minutes and she, too, couldn't help but think that it was too soon. However, it seemed like it was the only solution and this way, she wouldn't have to get separated from Ryan.

So shyly, she gave Ryan a small smile and replied, "I love you, too, and I am willing to go through this if you are. But are you sure you want to do this? It sounds like a dangerous idea and well...You know your safety is what matters the most to me, right?"

Mark chuckled as well and replied, "I think Megan will be the lucky one indeed."

Stacey added, "I guess we're all lucky then."

The group continued to engage in friendly conversation for an hour or so. Then noticing the time, Mark said,

"I should get going. I don't want to keep you two up late and we have work tomorrow."

Stacey looked at the time and added, "That's true. I'll bring you the leftovers and you can take them back to your place."

Ryan nodded and with a comforting smile, he replied,

"I'm sure I want to do this. Your safety and happiness are most important to me."

Turning to Irene, he then said,

"We'll have to be careful in this, though. The chancellor must not find out about this plan or he'll stop it. We need to find a priest who's willing to help us with the ceremony and keep it quiet at the same time."

William noticed the time as well and nodding to Mark, he replied,

"It was a pleasure to have you visit us, Mark. Please come over again. We'd like to have you visit again sometime with your bride and we'll be more than pleased then."

Irene nodded and replied, "That's why I suggested running away for a while. I know a priest who is in charge of a church but it's in another town. Its name is Myriaden and it's a little far from here. If I talk to him, I think he'll be willing to keep everything quiet. Once everything is taken care of there, you two can return and reveal everything.

As for your absence, Lisianthus, I'll pretend that I know nothing about it. It's not your first time to sneak out or stay absent for a while so I doubt the chancellor will suspect anything unusual about it. As for the responsibilities and such, I can take care of things while you are not here. What do you say?"

Stacey added, "Yup, that's right. Feel free to drop by anytime. We'd welcome the company."

Mark replied, "Thank you. Dinner was wonderful and I enjoyed your company."

Stacey got up, went to the kitchen to get the bag of leftovers and then returned to the living room. Handing the bag to Mark, she said,

"You can heat these up and they'll still be good."

Mark replied, "Thank you, Stacey." He then turned to William and said, "I'll see you at work tomorrow, mate."

Ryan liked the idea and how Irene was willing to help the two of them out. He nodded and replied, "I like the idea and it'll be better to be married in another town. As long as we all keep this quiet, everything should work out."

He turned to Lisianthus and added, "But I'll only do this if you're willing to. If you think it's too risky, we can try to come up with something else."

William nodded to Mark and replied,

"Alright, mate. See you tomorrow and take care on your way back home."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "I don't care about myself or the risks about me but I am more worried about you. What if somehow, the chancellor finds out and tries to do his threat and hurt you? I can't stand the thought of you being hurt."

Irene commented, "Either way, it's risky, Lisianthus. But if you two really love each other and want to stay together, then it's worth the risks and dangers in order to reach the true love in the end, right?"

Mark nodded and replied, "Aye, I will."

He waved goodbye to William and Stacey and then let himself out the door, heading back in the direction of town. It was a clear night so he could see the stars and moon that helped him to figure out where to go.

Ryan nodded and looking at Lisianthus, he said,

"Duchess Irene is right. This idea will free you and we can be together. I know it's risky but I'm willing to face the risks with you."

William waved goodbye to Mark and after he had disappeared from their view, he closed the door. Turning to Stacey, he said,

"It was nice to have Mark visit us. He's a nice fella."

Although Lisianthus wasn't very sure, she nodded and replied,

"Okay then. If you think this idea is good enough, I'm willing to go through it."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Yup, definitely. Mark is a nice guy and I'm happy he enjoyed dinner. It's rare of us to have company here."

Ryan could see that Lisianthus wasn't confident about the idea so he hugged her in comfort and replied,

"It'll be ok, beautiful. We'll be careful and Duchess Irene will help us out. I love you so much."

William nodded and replied, "Quite true."

He then noticed that it was getting late and said, "We should probably head on to bed now. I'd love to spend some time with you, pretty, alone but it's getting pretty late and we have busy days tomorrow."

Lisianthus smiled and felt better and comforted as Ryan hugged her. Returning the hug gently, she replied,

"I love you so much, too, and that's why I'm willing to take the world's risks if it meant I can be with you in the end. I'm just worried about you-that's all."

Irene couldn't help but smile at the beautiful sight of the loving couple.

Stacey nodded and replied, "That's true. We should get our rest for tomorrow."

She then said,

"Do you want to use the bathroom first, handsome?"

Ryan nodded in understanding and replied, "I know but don't underestimate me, ok? I'm pretty strong and I've only gotten stronger since Duchess Irene has been teaching me. I'm sure she can confirm that."

He winked at Irene.

William nodded and replied, "Alright, pretty. I'll be done quickly."

He gave her a quick kiss then entered the bathroom to get ready for bed.

Irene gave the couple an impressed smile and replied,

"That's true, Lisianthus. Ryan is one powerful sorcerer and I've rarely seen such a talent. I won't be surprised if he rivals me later on."

Stacey waited comfortably on the sofa while William was in the bathroom, getting ready for the night.

Ryan grinned and replied, "Thanks, Duchess Irene. You've helped me a lot with my magic."

Turning to Lisianthus, he added, "And I have you as well and I know how strong you can be."

William soon finished washing up and getting ready for the night so he went out of the bathroom. Approaching Stacey, he said,

"The bathroom is all yours, pretty."

Lisianthus smiled and feeling more confident about the idea, she replied,

"Alright then. I'm all for it. I hope this can work out."

Stacey smiled and replied,

"Thanks, handsome. I'll meet you in the bedroom."

She got up, went to the bedroom to get a clean nightgown and then to the bathroom to wash up and change for the night.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Me, too. In the meantime, we have to keep going as though I'm planning to leave although I'm not really. Once I can find a room at an inn or hotel, then I'll teleport my things there and it might help if you act sad about me leaving. The chancellor won't suspect a thing."

Meanwhile, William headed towards the bedroom where he got off his shirt and then climbed into bed, waiting for Stacey to join him.

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Alright, I can do that. Once it appears like you left and everything is settled, we can make a run for it and do our plan."

Irene nodded and said, "That sounds good and I'll cover up for you two. You don't need to worry a thing. Everything will go perfectly."

Stacey finished washing up and then changed into her nightgown. After brushing her hair and checking herself in the mirror, she went to the bedroom, put away her clothes and then climbed into bed next to William.

Wrapping her arms around him, Stacey happily said,

"I'm ready to fall asleep in your arms, handsome."

Ryan smiled gratefully at Irene and replied,

"Thank you so much for helping us. I'm truly grateful for your help."

William wrapped his arms around Stacey and snuggling close to her, he replied,

"Same here, pretty."

He then leaned in to give her a sweet good night kiss.

Irene smiled to Ryan and replying, she said,

"It's nothing, Ryan. You and Lisianthus are like my children and I want nothing in the world but to see both of you happy."

She paused for a minute then continued, "So, would you like to take today's lesson already?"

Happily, Stacey returned the kiss and then gazing into William's eyes, she softly said,

"Good night, handsome. See you in the morning."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, I'd like that."

Turning to Lisianthus, he said, "You can stay if you'd like."

William smiled softly to Stacey and replied,

"Sleep well, pretty."

He then closed his eyes and laid his head on the pillow to get some sleep for the night.

Lisianthus nodded and smiling, she replied, "Sure. I'd like to cheer you on."

The next day, the sun rose to greet the new day and Stacey woke up to feel the warm rays of the sun. She turned to her side and saw William sleeping peacefully. After giving him a soft kiss on the cheek, she got out of bed, took a change of clothes and went to the bathroom to shower and change.

Ryan smiled and gave Lisianthus a quick kiss. Then he turned his attention to Irene and said,

"I'm ready for today's lesson."

A little after Stacey had gotten up, William began to open his eyes wake up. Looking to his side, he saw that she wasn't there. Hearing the sounds coming from the bathroom, he assumed that she was inside, getting ready for the day.

So he got up himself, made the bed and then got a change of clothes for himself.

Irene nodded and then began giving Ryan the day's lesson. She taught him even more advanced spells, knowing that Ryan was a pretty powerful sorcerer and would be able to learn them.
